[Q] How long was shipping for your Nexus 4?

Hi yall
I'm really interested in the Nexus 4 and I plan on getting one.
The thing is that it says it will arrive in 6-7 weeks. I just don't quite believe that because when I ordered my Nexus 7, it says that I had to wait 3-4 weeks for delivery, and this was in the first week it came out. I ordered it on Wednesday night around 830pm, got the shipping confirmation Thursday night at around 6pmish, and it arrived on my doorstep at around 3pm friday (~45 hours from ordering to delivery, pretty good considering it was the 2nd week it came out). So, since google lied to be before, I wanted to see how long it took you guys to actually get your Nexus 4s. Just put the date or time you ordered and the date and time it arrived. I just want to see whether or not it took a couple of weeks for people to get their Nexus 4.
tl;dr: Google lied to me about how long I had to wait for shipping before, so my question is: How long did it take for you to get your Nexus 4 from order to your doorstep?
UPDATE: So I ordered it on 12/2 and I got it around 1/7, so about 36 days or 5 weeks +1 day, so it's a bit faster than the 6-7 weeks that they said it would take, fyi im in LA. (btw, n4 is hands down, THE best phone available right now, just use dropbox or something to keep stuff on the cloud and you're set. Really awesome.)
Shipping statistics: Fastest: 2-3 days. Longest: ~8 weeks. Average: 4-5 weeks
Overall shipping conclusion: I guess it depends on where you live, some received theirs in 2-3 days while others 7-8 weeks, and I think they track your isp to get your approximate location to give you the ETA on how fast the shipping would be when you first see it available, but on average, expect it to arrive in about 5 weeks

I guess you didn't follow the hot mess that was the initial ordering process... either people got it in the estimated ship time of 3 - 5 days or they had to wait about 3 weeks for it to arrive even though when they ordered it listed 3 - 5 days.
My advise, assume google isn't lying to you, from what I can tell the estimated ship time from this last round of orders ranged from 1 - 2 weeks to 6 - 7, depending on when you ordered it.

I ordered mine on the 13th and received it on the 19th.

I think it was a 3-5 week waiting period back then. It's good to see your answers.
I'd like to see what other people's wait times were!

Arrived - 20th November

Ordered on the 13th and received mine on the 21st. ( it was supposed to be the 20th but UPS screwed up )

Ordered on the 13th
Got in on the 16th, early afternoon.
Seems to be more lucky than most?
Edit: Maybe someone in Kentucky even got it on the 15th

From what people have posted, it seems that the majority of people have gotten theirs in a reasonable amount of time, with the exception of FOXY ROXY, but UPS screwed that up.
Conclusion: Google lies, it's a good lie though.
I wonder if anyone really had to wait 3-5 weeks for theirs, but I guess those people haven't existed yet... since 3-5 weeks after the 13th would be this coming week? (at the earliest!)

Keep in mind, everyone who ordered before the 27th, had a 3 - 5 DAY waiting period quoted, not weeks. No one (i think) who has ordered it with a quoted time of 3-5 weeks have yet received it. Some people who got quoted 3-5 DAYS did wait 3 weeks. Like me.
Ordered it the 13th, received it the 29th. (3-5 day quote)
I did get the other one I ordered on the 13th on the 16th though. Also 3-5 quote.

Ordered 29 Nov. 4-5 weeks shipping time quoted.
Last night, I dreamed that my N4 had shipped. Then I woke up.

Ordered on the 13th and received it on the 29th. If they say 5-6 weeks they mean it, my confirmation email originally said ships in 3-5 days but then got an email saying up to 3 weeks. It took 2 weeks and 2 days. The soonest you're going to see one if you order today is the first week of January.

I ordered mine on the 27th was quoted 2-3 weeks, hasn't shipped yet as far as I know (no tracking info, nothing), but credit card has been authorized.

Wow. So I guess those who ordered earlier in the month got theirs already and then the N4 got back-ordered and delayed shipping for everyone else. So I guess i should probably expect a 3 weekish wait if I order today.
btw. It's available again, well the 16gb one is so I got me one.

I really hope Google Play is lying, because I ordered my LG Nexus 4 during the second run on Dec 2nd and it said it was going to take 6-7 weeks, two days later it shows 5-6... Hopefully I get by xmas. Please keep us updated!

Ordered on Dec 4, UPS tracking says Out for Delivery today, Dec 6.
However the one that I ordered on Nov 27 is not shipped yet.

HTC One Pre-Order Black Only

Thought I'd start a thread for black only devices as silver seems pretty readily available at most carries in the uk.
I Pre ordered from Vodafone on the 5th March and am sadly still waiting anyone else received any info regarding black apart from the fact it's looking like they will fulfil orders by 4th April.

Ordered a black ONE from Mobile Phones Direct. At the time of ordering they were showing a delivery date of 29th. Looking at their website now it is still showing as 29th so holding thumbs. I originally pre-ordered a black one from them on the 02 March with a delivery date of 15th, but cancelled it for a cheaper deal but later delivery date of 29th. Just as well because I got an email saying that the 15th order was delayed to 29th anyway, so saved some cash and no real loss. Can't wait to get my hands on it though.

I ordered my black HTC One from P4U on the 14th and got a dispatch email about an hour ago saying it will arrive tomorrow. Am I right to be very doubtful about this? Seems too good to be true haha

No they were good for me when I got the same email it was there the next day, track your order on royal mail. They were first to get hold of the silver models. Is it SIM only or on new or upgrade contract?

Its a new contract, I originally pre-ordered with CPW but they had delays so I changed to P4U (also better deal). Im really looking forward to getting my hands on the black one I haven't seen too many pictures/videos of it so far.

When you do please take lots of pics and let us know how it feels When I first saw the black version I instantly fell in love with it, but unfortunetly since I am going to upgrade with T-Mobile UK they only offer the silver.

Me! I preordered mine at Handtec. Hope I get mine soon so I could kick some serious development for this device.

Good luck mate sounds like you could be one of the first guys to get the black model, hopefully other carriers will get units soon would love to have it to play with over the weekend

It's personal preference in the silver you can appreciate the design more then the black. silver stands out more. The only reason I prefer the black is because the last few devices I've owned have all been white, so looking for bit of change. Mind you I've got silver which looks brilliant.

I really hope so, got mine pre-ordered with free Beats Solo Headphones, if I hadn't got that deal I would probably have switched over to P4U by now and just went silver...

Should be the same materials I'd hope! I prefer black over white as the me it seems more unified. Also for some reason i think the notification LED will stand out more when contrasting with black, however I'm probably wrong!

I phoned them up last night and was told 3rd for delivery. Hopefully they're just covering their backs and are hopeful it'll be the 28th.

I got pictures of where the gaps have been seen, there is a very small gap at the bottom which I didn't notice till I checked the pictures on the camera so it doesn't bother me (that much).

Hey You may wanna check your tracking info. I got my email as well and it says delivery Wednesday 8/28 but when I checked the tracking number from Fedex it says Motorola sent it over night shipping and it'll be delivered TODAY!

yup, just checked it and its coming today! i'm impressed that they did get it out so fast if that were that inundated with orders

They are just managing expectations as being at the front of the order queue will probably still get yours delivered in four days, but it's mostly the people who ordered over after Friday that it might take longer due to backlog from demand.

Overnight shipping is standard even though they don't say it at the checkout.

Yeah, doesn't hurt for them to play safe with early estimates and it also helps that there are still a lot of att and best buy stores that don't have the motoX display yet. I went to BB on Saturday to buy a RocketFish tpu case and a sales guy was trying sell an HTC One to a customer. I can't help but think how that sales pitch would be different if they had the displays set up.

Me too. Plus, I didn't even really customize mine, ordered an all black 32gb. I was also one of the first to get the "we're assembling it" email. Still no shipping notice :/

I ordered a 32 GB. The only customizations I did was a black faceplate, the black textured back, and yellow metallic buttons and accent. I couldn't decided on a custom boot message so I did not get one.

Still waiting for my shipping email. I ordered early afternoon on Saturday. 32gb black front, black back, and silver accents. No custom boot.

I ordered last Monday and got a custom boot message. I got a call last night telling me my order would get here today.

well for what its worth i had a custom boot message and mine is on the truck for delivery. looks like the people who ordered a black back are the ones waiting? maybe they didnt' think that so many people would be willing to order all black 32gb phones instead of getting 16 gb in the store?

Anyone know how to cancel an order when it says "Processing"? After reading a lot of reviews, I've had a change of heart and think I'm going to hold out for the Moto X Style instead. This wait is ridiculous.

Easiest way would be opening a support ticket.

mine still say processing on oneplus site but have had a text from dhl with tracking info.

i doubt anyone's orders will change until this Tuesday. man its good to be back here.. the oneplus forums sre out of control lol. whos excited for this thing? i know i can't wait to root and flash cm on this. I ordered the glass protector and adapter with mine.

I pre ordered from Best Buy to get the 12 months no interest (I would have used Amazon otherwise). Pre ordered the day it dropped on their site. Anyone know if it's still going to be there tomorrow the 29th? The order page originally said 7/29 but now it says 8/2... Really hoping to pick it up tomorrow but was wondering if anyone has heard anything regarding it being there tomorrow. Thanks!

I also pre-ordered from BestBuy, but opted for the Quartz Grey so mine is still two and a half weeks out.
I'd like to assume the date changed because they sold out of the initial pre-orders, meaning if you ordered early enough you should be fine. Of course, that's an assumption. Their whole shipment could have been delayed because of strong sales.
Edit : I just rechecked my order status and it says the Quartz Gray is now slated for an 8/25 release. Bullcrap. This same delay crap is what turned me away from the HTC 10. If it gets another delay I might as well wait until October for the Nexus.

I never saw 8/2 but my order went from "Ready to pickup on 7/29" to "We've received your order" yesterday. I called the store and they said they have it and I can pick it up today. I'm headed there for 10 AM ET. Hopefully it really is there.

I'm in the same boat. I noticed yesterday morning that the "release date" on bestbuy.com had changed to August 2, so I called BB customer support about it. They said it looked like my order had gone from pre-order to back order, which i assume means they don't have them yet, or don't have enough of them to fill my order (placed July[oops] 16). I made it clear I was very unhappy and regretting not going with Amazon, and she eventually gave me a $100 credit to make up for it. I hope they will actually deliver it on August 2 like they're currently saying. The website is now showing 8/2 as the release date for all the stores near me.

Btw, I just checked and they've updated my order from "Processing" to "Preparing for shipping". That certainly suggests they have them in hand now, at least. The status change was made in the last couple hours.

I was gonna flip if I was a month off.

Just came from BestBuy where they told me they aren't expecting the Quartz Gray Axon 7 until early to mid October.
I will cancel my pre-order if that's the case. Way too long gone to wait and at that point the Nexus 2016 will be right around the corner.
I'll keep my pre-order through August and that's it.
