Availability in Germany, France and Spain

I don't understand why is the Nexus 10 not available in most of Europe. I've noticed that there's been a lot of demand for the Nexus 4, but how come the Nexus 10 is still not available almost 3 weeks from launch? Those who ordered theirs in these three countries, were you backordered? When did you get your shipping email? Can you figure out when are they getting new batches (like the N4 is every monday i think)?

Got mine on the second run in France last week, and despite the fact that they mentioned a 2 or 3 weeks delay for shipping it shipped 2 days later with tracking, buying process went flawlessly too. Guess i was lucky this time.

So it was sold out and available again last week? (Sorry for my ignorance, but i didn't watch Nexus 10 back then as I wanted Nexus 4 instead) If so, which day it became available again?

Ordered mine on launch day and got it three days later in Germany. The order notification came almost instantly and the shipping information two days after that

Right, initial batch got sold out and then there was a second batch on 21 nov.

Seems like a couple more weeks.

Same for my concern, ordered N10 32Go nov 22nd 07:00, received nov 23rd 12:27 (in France)

Ordered mine on 21st Nov. 2012, the website said: delivery within 2-3 weeks. My orderstatus has no update, whatching every day

Same here but in France, still waiting... and I managed to put my order through about 10 minutes after they were available, I cant believe people got theirs and I am still waiting, google really has to get the shipping issues fixed...

There are even people that ordered on 13th Nov and still have to wait ...
When we ordered we were warned that it could take 2-3 weeks so you can't complain I think

I am not really complaining about the waiting, It's more the fact that the deliveries are inconsistent and have nothing to do with when you placed your order, it's like standing in line and being randomly picked anywhere in that line, where it should be, "first one come first one served", it's not like that is complicated, it doesn't make any sense to do it the way they are doing, it's pretty sad, sad for us who have to wait, and sad that google is incapable of figuring out something which should be SO simple .

no i just found out whats the order....
i just sent another email to google asking when they are able to send my tablet ...
10 minutes later they sent it away try it, too!

I tried aswell, but they replied they would be sending it on the 12th, I am gonna see if I can push my way forward in the order dates, haha they're about to find out what a pain in the @ss is . ^^

[Q] Shipment TIme?

I ordered my 16 GB Nexus 4 from the play store Thursday, the shipping time was 2-3 weeks. I was wondering if the shipping time is true, and how long did it take for you to receive the Nexus 4? I am really exited about this phone and can't wait to get my hands on it!

yes google's estimates are usually good, you will probably get the shipping notice sometime during the third week. shipping takes about 2-3 business days in north america.

Yes, shipping times are usually accurate. I learned the hard way: When I ordered my Nexus 7 at the end of July/early August it came in 2 days. When I ordered my N4 at the end of November it said it would ship in 4-5 weeks. I thought because my N7 came in 2 days, my N4 would also come fast. I was wrong and it ended up taking the estimated 4-5 weeks lol.

I ordered it 10 minutes after (so lucky, i was checking stock in the toilet ) it was back instock during the final time it would go out of stock on a Friday
recieved it on the Monday. I suspect i might even have recieved it earlier if it wasnt for the weekend because it shipped on the day i ordered it. It was express delivery for some reason

To the peeps who got it within a few days, did it stay on pending until you got it or did you receive a shipping email or pre-order email or anything? Also where are you located?

I ordered mine on the 3rd. and it was delivered on the 6th.
Estimate was 3-4 weeks... I'm really happy Google is not as accurate as other guys say XD

Shipping is not accurate at all. I initially ordered a week ago on the Wed when it came back, and by the following thursday I heard nothing. So that morning I ordered a second and it arrived ~26 hours later. So google are unpredictable to say the least. Whatever the shipping, it's worth the wait

I ordered on wednesday, got the phone on friday. And yes, the shipping time was 1-2 weeks. The phone got to me before i got a chance to order any case or even cut my sim to micro sim

Google and LG really needs more to make more units, this probably would have been the most sold phone if they expected the demand

Hello everyone. I am a new user to this forum and so far I have learned a lot. I ordered my device on the 3rd and have so far only received the order confirmation email from google. I am hoping it gets sent on Monday. It stated that shipping at the time was one to two weeks. I checked yesterday and it was up to two to three weeks shipping. Can't wait to get my device and start playing around with it. Thank you to the forum moderators for having such a great and informative site.

So, I bought a N4 since it's by far the best bang for the buck. Even though I have a feeling they're going to drop the 8 and intro a 32 (an assumption) just so they can compete... you just can't beat the phone price to feature ratio.
Anyhow, I was wondering how written in stone the shipping estimate was? I'm just anxious to get it...I'm on this ****ty iPhone 4 (work phone) and I can't wait. I've read some say that it could be a few days and some have waited the full length.

It really could be anywhere in that time frame. I know the waiting is tough but you'll be happy when you get it

Suppose to be two day shipping no? I got mines within 2-3 business days...
Also since I had one of the first batches and was super eager to get my hands on item...I went to ups online and asked them to hold the package for me to pick up instead of constantly missing the guy.

The shipping days should be based on the place you have lived.Maybe two days maybe a week, but whatever, it shouldn't take a long time if you have ordered the phone.

I ordered mine Sunday evening. Got a mail with an estimaetd delivery for friday. So 5 days. Tuesday morning: ding dong. So these infos are not very reliable

HTC One in The Netherlands / Belgium

As far as I know none have shipped in The Netherlands so far. Please provide any updates when you've ordered, when you receive any updates from the webshop or your unit is being shipped! Latest official information from HTC Benelux is that they "hope" pre-orders can be sent units from the 5th of April, but the official date they've promised so far is the 15th of April.
I've ordered a black one from Coolblue.nl on the 3rd of March and so far there hasn't been any indication of delivery, even though their webpage still shows first deliveries are expected on the 5th of April.
Here's an overview of all the shops that the phone can be pre-ordered from.

Studentmobiel.nl still have it down for 15 April dispatch

Website says mine will ship in 5days now, mailed them today to ask about the htc media link hd i ordered with the phone since that one said ready to ship some days ago but now says 4days and seems not to count down anymore now

That sounds like a way off estimate to me. I'm expecting one to be sent to me free of charge for certain reasons, and so I agreed to wait until the initial pre-orders and first rush had been satisfied, and I'm still being told to expect to receive it before the end of April.
Maybe you need to shop around some of the specialist shops rather than a big wholesaler of everything ...

I ordered from Handtec.co.uk but i also made a reservation at Belcompany (rotterdam) and Alternate. Handtec expects delivery on the 3rd so if i'm lucky I'll get mine the 4th or 5th. Belcompany expect the phone on the 5th and Alternate says "begin of april". So I'm really curious which one will show up first.

My preorder is dated 22 February from Coolblue! I'm sure all preorders will be handled according to date, that's only fair. Still, waiting is a *****. The worst part is that HTC isn't communicating. I wish they were a little more open about this, even if they have problems- tell us.
I'll update this thread when I hear more about mine.
I also placed reservations and orders at Amazon.de and Mediamarkt Berlin as I'm going there in a few days...

From what I've read online the first batch will arrive to some stores at the 5th but with limited amount. First this was supposed to be on the 1st.. The 15th most others will arrive.
I've ordered mine (the black one, pun intended) from gsmstunter. They expect it to arrive Friday or Monday.

I recognize this from my telecommunications company in Sweden, Tele2. When I ordered I was told 26th march. Still no phone. But this morning it was "Out of stock" and now its 6-8 weeks.
Telia (another telecommunications company) had 18th april, then this morning it had 4rd april and now back to 18th april.
This release must be a big fiasco.

really impatient to wait, you have ordered a black one, i prefer the sliver, and i would like to try it in the local shop, and decide whether should i change the new HTC one.

Orderd a black one at belsimpel.nl on 15 march.
Still no exact day from them when i will receive it although there site states 2 weeks for new ones.
Hope mine will come faster though as ive heard from customer service they will receive some at 5th of april

Belsimpel is still expecting there first batch of one's on 5th of april.
If they receive it the 5th they will prepare my package and send it, so monday could be my lucky day.
At least i now have the confirmation mine will be shipped with the first batch they receive

How long was the Nexus 4 sold out and when did you buy yours?

With the N5 coming soon, it's finally time to ditch my trusty old GNex. The G2 has most of the things I'm looking for in a phone (large, high quality screen, great battery life, excellent camera), but the $600 off-contract price and bloatware makes it a no go for me. The N5 looks really good on paper, but unfortunately it nerfs most of the things I like about the G2. I was hoping to wait for reviews and comparisons to come out first, but "waiting after release" for a Nexus product has it's own problems, in terms of actually being able to get one.
So I wanted to ask you guys for your experience with the N4. How long was it between being available at the Play Store and being sold out? Was it available for preorder and did it sell out even then? How long after selling out did it become available again? And when did you buy your N4 and how easy/hard it was to get?

If I recall correctly, the first batch was sold out within 15-20 mins.
And then a second batch was available after few weeks after.
And I think after 6~8 weeks most of the people who miss their chance with the 1st and 2nd batches got theirs.
I think after 2 or 3 months, they start having steady stock? Someone can correct this.
Google claims they did not anticipate that many buyers for the devices.
There wasn't a preorder on the release date,
but I'm sure they will have enough stock or preorder this time around.

i think your right but even after the 2 month there was still a 4-5 week waiting list

Well, I remember that I was mad at google on launch day because they started sales 30 minutes before it was supposed to go on sale, so by the time I was able to take out my phone in class to buy one, they were sold out. Then I had to wait until November 27th to buy one, that was when the second batch came out, and it arrived on Dec. 6th.

I'll add to this that on the first day, November 13th they did indeed sell out in the first 15 minutes which was 15 minutes before the official start time. I logged on at the correct time, noon pacific, and was still able to place an order but it was placed on backorder a day later, the system kept taking orders even though they were sold out throughout that first day. My backorder was filled on the 27th and arrived around the 6th some peoples backorders arrived weeks later and the system would periodically take new orders but they too would go into backorder. It took months to get it all sorted out.

I waited until January and I finally got too antsy and paid $415 for it on eBay. That's how impatient I am at times. Granted back then the markup I paid was only $115 (actually less since I didn't have to pay sales tax) since it was still price at $299 then. Was worth it to me.

Well technically speaking, Google never specified a time that it would go on sale. They only specified a date, and nothing else. The fact that it would launch at different places within their respective time zones was also unknown to us (however somewhat known to the US people as it launched in places like Australia and the UK first).
Everyone only had conjectures about the times, and lots of people like me checked at every time possible, including 9 PM the night before, 10 PM the night before, 11 PM the night before, midnight the night before, 9 Am the next morning, etc. I think people expected it to come at 9 AM like Google's usual launches, yet it ended up actually launching at 8:27 AM PST or something near that. People who checked at 9 AM, such as yourselves I'm assuming, were already too late unfortunately. I for some reason was just paranoid about it and had been refreshing the page every five minutes since nearly 8 AM. Still, even at 8:30, the site was having major problems and I was only able to get my order through at 9:00ish, a few minutes before it sold out. Sort of the reason was because my Google Wallet stuff wasn't ready yet, so yes, when you do order, have that address + credit card ready beforehand as the default.

I was in the first 15 minutes to order. I used a chrome app to refresh the page for me and alert when there was a change. I was awake all night until it was purchased (granted I work nights so it was no big deal for me). However, I didn't get it for like 4 weeks. I had to call Google a few times and they kept giving different answers and stated that some were some how lost, but if they manually looked it up they could find your order. So, I was way behind when I should have got it.

I ordered first day. Woke up 10 minutes after it went online and it was sold out. But, around 2pm I bought one after class. Unfortunately, I got that dreadful backorder email later that night took about two weeks to get mine from the second batch

Bought mine the first day. I was online ready to order it the night before and then everyone found out they wouldn't be selling it till the next morning at 9 am PST.

I got mine in about January. I couldn't get my hands on one in Europe until then.
Definitely worth the wait though :laugh:.
