Hi guys, I noticed that when I use Poweramp, after some time of use the app get freeze and the phone audio doesn't work at all. So I'm obligated to restart the phone. Do you know what could be?

my poweramp used to have very funny/distorted sound, I changed the settings in audio (I think mostly disable replay gain) and it's working great now, sorry I don't have a better answer but modify these settings until it works

It seems poweramp is someway not optimized to this device, in my case I get distroted sound and freeze like u, and on BT the sounds sucks so hard, specially on 24bits FLACs.... I contacted developer for a refound xD, and the guy told me to deactivate some things in poweramp settings (direct volume control maybe?) and solve a little audio quality but nothing else, replied that to developer and get no answer, so I lost like a dollar (more for the unusability more than money xD) and changed to Pulsar Music Player

I don't understand why it got frozen and the audio shut down completely, the phone doesn't play any audio and I have to reboot. I will try with Pulsar Music Player, let's see.

Sound skipping is a perplexing issue, it can be produced by numerous variables:
- sd card issues (attempt to play same record in stock player, on the off chance that it happens there also - that is it). Can happen likewise if numerous tunes/pictures/motion pictures as of late transferred to the telephone (stock framework scanner one a few gadgets is moderate and takes a ton of SD card transmission capacity)
- Bluetooth issues. This for the most part influences any player on the gadget. Attempt to Unpair, then Pair BT gadget once more
- changed ROM/established telephone with changed CPU representative/recurrence. It could be insufficient CPU for Poweramp sound preparing
- ROM issue (some HTC Sense 4.0+Beats ROMs produces skips/moderate downs sound when more than 2 sounds played, e.g. Poweramp and touch sound). Attempt to impair beats for Poweramp
- extra outsider sound impacts. Attempt to briefly debilitate extra sound impacts and check in the event that it makes a difference
- some cpu hungry applications (free application like OSMonitor can indicate complete and per process cpu utilization and find irritating application/administration)
- some broken configurations (if skipping happens for the same melodies, dependably, and doesn't happen for others)
This is not my case, all stock, no Bluetooth, SD card worked fine until now. Do you think that could be a Poweramp problem? Until now I never had sd card issues.

I can tell you that I have been using PowerAmp on my S7 since the day it was release with no issue at all. Everything works great. I would try to wipe all the cache settings in PowerAmp and set it up again.
Also, just because the SD card used to work great doesn't mean it hasn't become corrupt now. I know there were a few reports of people's SD cards getting corrupt from the SD Card notification. So I would try to back up everything off it, format it again, and copy everything back on to it.
Just because the app works fine on your phone, doesn't mean that it has to work fine everywhere. I installed another player and it works perfectly.

Perhaps it's too late but there's a beta version in poweramp's page which solves the issue (V3 alpha).
I had to clear the app data and re install for it to work.
I have tried several apps for live music recording and I get saturation. Only the video camcorder records a clear audio, but I don't want the video, only the audio. (Sorry for my English)
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.media.bestrecorder.audiorecorder
Give this a try.
Horrible, over saturated the best is Easy voice recorder and selecting microphone without processing. And I get a little saturation. The perfect option is to record a video with the built-in camera app. The audio is clear, but I need to convert (extract) video to mp3
What kind of music are u trying to record
I'm having the exact same issue.. when recording from my car, I'm using AOSP extended, and I've tried lots of cameras, still getting the saturated issue
I'm using LineageOS 14.1 and got this in the camera recordings, as well as in the recorder app's recordings. Don't have a clue of why this happens
EDIT: Was trying to record an rock concert, and every other phone that recorded the concert was fine and didn't saturate
I'm musician, and I'm trying to record the band, but all of the voice/music recorder apps fails with the job, only the built-in video camera record a clear audio, but I don't want the video, I want the audio only. I'm using stock Rom.
Audio Recorder by Sony works well for me.
It's available on PlayStore :
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sonymobile.androidapp.audiorecorder
Sony app does not work for me. On stage, the sound is too loud, the built-in camera app records fine, but third party apps records with saturation. The iPhone and Samsung records great.

Are you using a custom rom? Of you are, which camera and what rom is it?
Maybe you can try with this one https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.audioRec

I'm with stock Rom, and using the camera app from Motorola. I would like a third party app that uses the same microphone settings used in the camera app. Otherwise I'll have to record a video and then, convert it to mp3.

With this app I get similar result to "Easy voice recorder".
The settings I used was captured in this screenshot and gain is something below to -6 dB.
I still get some of saturation but is usable
hi guys any of you can record stereo through their phone?
(stock maybe?)
Only with the camcorder. You need to record a video then convert it to mp3 :-/
Hi-Q MP3 Voice Recorder may be worth a try. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hiqrecorder.free&hl=en
I haven't had an opportunity to test it with a full band, but I tried it recently with some amplified music and the results were encouraging. This is with "mic selection" set to "raw audio." It does not record in stereo on my G5+.
The free version will only record 10 minutes, but that should be enough for a test.
Note: I have an older "legacy" version of the app, so some setting might be different in the current version.
Have you tried plugging in an external mic? It could be something about the way the internal mics work (yes, mics, plural, as there are more than one of them). I recall with older Moto phones, like the E2, there was an issue with using VOIP as the dual mics would create a problem (solution was to cover the rear mic with tape), whereas the stock phone calling app used both mics in tandem to cancel out unwanted background noise and it did so nicely.
Perhaps the third party recording apps are having a similar problem since Moto seems to use their own way to handle the dual mics for clear audio, which other apps might not be able to use properly. However, using an external mic plugged into the headphone jack (plenty of cheap adapters for pro mics, or even mics designed for phones with the proper TRRS pin out) might solve the problem as you are bypassing whatever is proprietary about the microphone system built in.
Or, you could try covering the rear mic with tape like the moto e2, but if you want solid quality I'd recommend the external mic as a boost even if you get the in-camera mic to your liking.
Good luck!
When i was on firmware 327 my internal audio was being recorded by all screen recorders but now i tried 2-3 custom roms all of them don't record internal audio(when earphones are on) in screen recording any fix please help

Hi there! :v
This might work, it worked on my other phone, not sure about Mi A1, but I'm too lazy to test on mine so there you go! xD
Install this https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...nalaudioplugin , click enable then reboot.
Then you can record with internal audio with this https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...app.recme.free
BTW, don't forget to set audio source to internal sound! duh
How to record the screen with internal audio?
Im on lineageos 17.1 /Android 10 but can only record with mic. The apps always crash when I select internal audio. On weaker and older phones it was never a problem
