Audio doesn't work with Poweramp - Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions and Answers

Hi guys, I noticed that when I use Poweramp, after some time of use the app get freeze and the phone audio doesn't work at all. So I'm obligated to restart the phone. Do you know what could be?

my poweramp used to have very funny/distorted sound, I changed the settings in audio (I think mostly disable replay gain) and it's working great now, sorry I don't have a better answer but modify these settings until it works

It seems poweramp is someway not optimized to this device, in my case I get distroted sound and freeze like u, and on BT the sounds sucks so hard, specially on 24bits FLACs.... I contacted developer for a refound xD, and the guy told me to deactivate some things in poweramp settings (direct volume control maybe?) and solve a little audio quality but nothing else, replied that to developer and get no answer, so I lost like a dollar (more for the unusability more than money xD) and changed to Pulsar Music Player

I don't understand why it got frozen and the audio shut down completely, the phone doesn't play any audio and I have to reboot. I will try with Pulsar Music Player, let's see.

Sound skipping is a perplexing issue, it can be produced by numerous variables:
- sd card issues (attempt to play same record in stock player, on the off chance that it happens there also - that is it). Can happen likewise if numerous tunes/pictures/motion pictures as of late transferred to the telephone (stock framework scanner one a few gadgets is moderate and takes a ton of SD card transmission capacity)
- Bluetooth issues. This for the most part influences any player on the gadget. Attempt to Unpair, then Pair BT gadget once more
- changed ROM/established telephone with changed CPU representative/recurrence. It could be insufficient CPU for Poweramp sound preparing
- ROM issue (some HTC Sense 4.0+Beats ROMs produces skips/moderate downs sound when more than 2 sounds played, e.g. Poweramp and touch sound). Attempt to impair beats for Poweramp
- extra outsider sound impacts. Attempt to briefly debilitate extra sound impacts and check in the event that it makes a difference
- some cpu hungry applications (free application like OSMonitor can indicate complete and per process cpu utilization and find irritating application/administration)
- some broken configurations (if skipping happens for the same melodies, dependably, and doesn't happen for others)

This is not my case, all stock, no Bluetooth, SD card worked fine until now. Do you think that could be a Poweramp problem? Until now I never had sd card issues.

I can tell you that I have been using PowerAmp on my S7 since the day it was release with no issue at all. Everything works great. I would try to wipe all the cache settings in PowerAmp and set it up again.
Also, just because the SD card used to work great doesn't mean it hasn't become corrupt now. I know there were a few reports of people's SD cards getting corrupt from the SD Card notification. So I would try to back up everything off it, format it again, and copy everything back on to it.

Just because the app works fine on your phone, doesn't mean that it has to work fine everywhere. I installed another player and it works perfectly.

Perhaps it's too late but there's a beta version in poweramp's page which solves the issue (V3 alpha).
I had to clear the app data and re install for it to work.

Dolby mobile help please

So. I've noticed that the sound on my tablet seems to acting strange.
If I enable Dolby mobile in the settings while music is playing it sounds quite good. Then when exiting the settings menu Dolby seems to switch off even though its still ticked. Tried different music players.
Hope someone will test this out on there's.
I have searched but couldn't find no info on this
Cheers

Ok so i tested on my girlfriends TAB and hers does not do the same thing.
Sigh!
Well i guess its something to do with been rooted and removing some of the bloatware acer installed. been looking for a reason to install flex anyway
hope this helps someone else in the future.
I'm fully Stock and have the same issue.
i think any dolby software really need DTS hardware to work properly.
I didn't have this issue prior to ICS

I have an odd sound issue.
I was listening to some tunes with my headphones the other week and I seemed a little thin and tinny. Then I got an email notification and suddenly the volume level seemed to drop, but the sound was much fuller with a good base level.
A few nights later.... same thing... WTH ??
Actually if I turn off Dolby and then back on it sounds great..... its like it is not on by default even tho it is checked like it is.

I decided to go custom. A lot less problems so far. Was just a bit of nightmare getting unlocked boot loader but was worth it in the end

why cant acer make a rom like people on here id love to no.
Fixed, disable all sounds and you shouldn't have issues with Dolby EQ
I found a fix for you guys having trouble with the Dolby Equalizer, it turns out the EQ cuts off when you tap the screen and the sound effects are not compatible with Dolby where it's two separate EQ's for music and video, it seems that the treble and bass EQ still work because that EQ is system wide but the problem lies with the preset EQ's for music and video, so if you use the tablet to watch movies or listen to music, disable all the system sound effects such as screen tap sounds, lock sounds and keyboard touch sounds, you can still use vibrate for the keyboard, reply how you made out, but it should work.

Lollipop bluetooth audio problem

Hello everyone, I have a problem. I always had the liquid offical, all perfect good rom but I wanted to try something more 'recently seen that is not updated in a while.
I tried both the AOCP that the resurrection but both give me problems with the sound of my speaker bluetooth anker.
With the liquid sound was perfect, with AOCP, resurrection is of poor quality and crackles a lot, as if there were too many bass. I tried several music players, I tried using youtube I tested with clean installations, lolliviper with nothing to do. Only with the liquid is erfect..why? Someone has experience in this?
Thank You.
No one can tell me something?

It's seems like the bluetooth drivers are not well implemented in that rom. Maybe you should tell your problem to the maker of your rom.
P.S. you should try bluetooth audio quality with anothes device. ..maybe it's aproblem of compatability between them.
Hi, Thanks! I tried the speaker with other device like asus t100ta, Samsung s3 and the sound in amazing.

I tried different rom lollipop, all with the same problem.
With the AICP lollipop (with and without lolliviper ) everything perfect, the speaker audio works perfectly...why?I do not understand why with some rom Sound is bad, with no other ...

Notifications - Low Volume

I am starting this thread to try to figure out this little problem that's driving me crazy. I know there are couple of threads about this out there but they seems inactive at this time.
I am running TruPure 2.8.2 (frankenclark v 0.8) on my xt1575 and everything is flawless except for the annoying low volume notification that I get after what I think it's doze or waking up from idle. The notification is so low that the vibrations are much louder. I ve try almost everything from store app to increase notification volume to flashing kernels (franken v 0.11 didnt solve it and gave me a problem with camera autofocus) nothing is working. My last attempt was to use exposed and a module to unlink ringtone and notifications volume and nothing. Max volume and keep missing the notifications . This gotta be a software problem because speaker work flawless with everything else.
Please if any experts it's around I really need your advise in this matter. Thank you

Flash THIS. The phone should get louder via bluetooth, speaker, and headphones. I normally uninstall the 2 xtrememusic apps. You can also uninstall the viper4android app, or keep it and use it to increase the sounds more.

App record screen audio internal

Some Android application to record pubg mobile ... With internal audio ... Not from the microphone with root or without
Inviato dal mio Mi A1 utilizzando Tapatalk
Im also searching for same.
So far didnt found any app that can do this post KitKat.
I don't understand why there isn't any screen recorder app which can record internal sound & mic while there are call recorder apps that can do same.
I would love to mess with alsa mixer. Buttt this year can't as i have to study other things ?. Atleast not in next 6 months.
Any ROM that support Screen record with internal audio??
Sure, miui rom can record internal sound. If you run on android Nougat + you can record screen with internal sound, but device must be rooted. Use 2 app, first :Recme+plugin internal audio. Second : screen recorder tornaco lite,
