I think you flashed wrong firmware. It's a common fail coz the latest firmware in Sammobile.com is for the model "BLACK EDITION":
1. Download this firmware if your phone is a "normal" GT-i9505: HERE.
2. Unzip and flash it via ODIN. ( Reflash the firmware one time more if your phone boot and you still without wifi). Good luck

Hi guys, Ive searched and searched, but couldnt find anything that worked for me, so I apologize if this has been answered before.
I attempted to root my GS6 Sprint phone, and something has gone wrong. When the phone reboots the touch screen doesnt work at all and it doesnt find any cell signals.
I flashed to S6-UniKernel_v6-0001-ODIN, the firmware on the phone at the time was 5.1.1.
I tried to flash back using G920PVPU1AOCF_G920PSPT1AOCF_G920PVPU1AOCF_HOME.tar. but I get "FAILED" every time.
So I tried to install twrp-2.8.7.1-zeroflte.img, and that seemed to install fine, but I cant reset because even in TWRP I have no use of my touch screen.
I am using the samsung cable, and it does go to the Downloading mode, but as soon as I click start it fails.
Anyone that can help me fix this I would gladly paypal the cost of a six pack. (Mods if this isnt allowed please let me know)
Okay so here is what fixed it for anyone else like me that is a noob, and does dumb stuff to their phone. You cant roll back to old firmwares. You have to flash to the latest firmware that was on the phone or newer. I found the updated firmware and its good to go.
koop1955 said:
Minor correction. You can use the version that you started with or a later version. The only problems come if you try to use an earlier version, like going from 5.1.1 back to 5.0.2. Which won't work.
Here is the latest version available, should always work: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24269982087002159

Okay so I grabbed the lastest ODIN and was able to go back to the stock recovery. I performed a wipe/factory reset, but it still wont let me use the touch screen! ARG! It didnt clear the new kernel. Could it be because Im flashing to an older firmware? I cant find 5.1.1 anywhere...

Is the a Galaxy s6 or a S6 edge+ of edge+ you've been flashing the wrong firmwares, which would explain the issues you're having
Try a different cable or usb port or redownload the firmware file as it may be corrupted.

Maybe i can just flash one of the stock firmwares with ODIN and at least boot the phone, and disable the OEM option in the developer settings?
That may work. Sorry I don't have much experience on the matter. Disabling frp was probably the first thing I did to give me peace of mind. Give it a try!

Now the problem is that TWRP is installed but not working properly
Gotta fix that as well!
Happened to me a few weeks back. Download and flash stock with Odin, boot, put in your Google account details when asked (phone won't work without it), go into dev options and make sure OEM Unlock is selected. You're now good to go again to flash TWRP with Odin again.

It's because, when you install stock back, the phone will be encrypted again. TWRP can't read Samsung encryption. In TWRP you will need to formate (not wipe) the data partition. As said above, you will lose everything.
So here's what happened:
Got a message to reboot my non rooted Mi A1 in order to finish the november update
Clicked on it and waited for the reboot, which took a while
Screen kept flashing, but mostly a black screen with now and then a flash of my background and the task bar in the top of the screen.
Went to this forum to find answers and solutions
OEM was locked and couldn't access the phone, so unlocking OEM and flashing stock was not an option.
Saw someone mention you can switch the active partition. It was set on B and I changed it to A.
Phone works fine with that option, but the message that the update has failed keeps popping up and it gives an error when I try to redownload and reinstall the update.
If anyone knows what the recommended steps are to fix this issue it would be most helpful!
PS. Also if I have to unlock OEM that means it will wipe the phone right? Any tips on backing up the apps including their user data (meaning I won't have to reconnect authenticators to my phone, won't lose game date etc.)
Try to remove sim and disable PIN.
