My s pen is way off - Sprint Galaxy Note 4 General

I just recently re rooted my phone. Prior to that i was using an iphone.
So touching the top left corner of the screen is the only olace the s pen works. Here's the catch. Touching the tip left corner makes the s pen show up in the bottom right hand corner. Any fix for this?

Does you G1 have play on the bottom right crn of screen

Not sure if I have a bad unit. On the bottom of the screen along the bezel, from the middle to the bottom right where the hinge is, if I press like I am tapping the screen, the screen flexes downwards. It actually feels weird when using an on screen keeboard and pressing the bottom row of letters/numbers.
Anyone else have this
Most if not all Dreams are affected by this. It's a flaw of the way the screen hinge is designed. Do a search of the forum for more details.

Lower right corner s pen response

I don't type with the S Pen but I do know what you mean. When I put the pen in the lower right corner it can disappear. It does this in the lower left corner too but not to the extent it does in the right lower corner.

[Q] Phantom touches screen issue

So I've been getting ghost or phantom touches on my phone for the past few weeks. I couldn't figure out what was causing it because I've never dropped my phone and it never got wet. The phantom touches only appears down the right side of the screen in almost a straight line. It doesn't happen all the time and I thought it was random but I got it to occur at a successful rate. If I press down on the top left corner of the screen, it would cause the phantom touches. When I press and hold down the top left corner of the phone, everything is fine and no phantom touches appear. I decided to tighten the screws on the top left and it seems to have made it a little better. I'd have to really tap on the top left of the screen to make the phantom touches appear again and it doesn't occur at a 100% rate but it's still occurs.
Anyone know what is causing this? I thought it would be a broken digitizer but it doesn't make sense that tightening the screws would cause the issue to almost fix itself. Problem with the geomangnet? I'm not sure what that does really.

Put 2 (or more) fingers on the screen of your Note 3 in a horizontal line in landscape mode. You can also use Portrait mode with 2 fingers.
Move the fingers slightly about, trying to have both (all) in a straight horizontal line.
After only a bit of trying one (or more) detected fingers should disappear (become undetected) or ghost touch detections should appear.

Thank you for the help and suggestion but I've already tried this. My touch screen is fine in terms of detection. I can put 10 fingers on the screen and it would recognize all 10 fingers. My issue has something to do with the top left corner of the screen affecting the right side of the screen. Like something is loose. When I clamp down on the left corner of the phone, everything works fine. No ghost touches (that sounds dirty) or any of the sort. When I let go of the top left corner, I will some times get ghost touches.

It's not a firmware issue. It's definitely a hardware issue since it starts tapping on buttons inside TWRP recovery. Ah well, I tighten the screws even more and it looks like the phantom touches are gone. Hopefully it stays that way even though I destroyed a screw in the process. Those tiny things are fragile.
if the touch ghost click is in some certain location most because of pollution (mainly chemical), best is use ISO alcohol also use a very tinny sharp blade, like a very thin one and slightly go along side the place that does this, sometimes you have to try both horizontal and vertical, then clean with ISO, do a few times it does alright. it does work on most of touch screen include note 3 as well. Spen tip gets stuck any advice?

So my spen tip keeps getting stuck inside the pen. Into and always clicked position.
So if in scrolling a page when I take the pen off of the screen to go to top top and continue to scroll down, or vice a versa, when I lift the pen, the device still thinks I still have the pen on the screen.
This is infuriating, because I use the pen for everything, from swiping to note taking etc.
The only temp fix I've found to this is to stick on the tip and it works for s few hours.
(For those that don't believe the tip has any sort of movement, hold your pen close to the screen so you see the dot, than use your finger to press then pen. It will act like it's on the screen.)

automatic screen off with case.?

anyone any ideas or know any app that will turn off screen when case is closed......(non Samsung case)
I think some apps like KinScreen can lock the phone based on light sensor (the front camera) once a certain level of darkness is reached it locks the phone, so it might work with third party case.
Nooo there's a small magnet in my case it's in bottom left corner when it's open
Or ues a magnet on the bottom right hand corner of the screen
Don't swipe life it up and down and the screen will go on and off ?
