Ripped my Le Pro 3, need some help trying to repair it - LeEco Le Pro3 Questions & Answers

Hey,
last weekend I somehow ended up with my Le Pro 3 not working anymore.
It may have come into contact with water or alcohol, but only very small amounts if at all.
The main exterior problem it seems to have is that the Power button wont pop out again after pressing it in (probably because some small amount of beer or something got there).
Right now it does not really react to anything. The display stays black all the time, pressing or holding the power button down triggers no reaction.
The only thing that kept happening is that it sometimes vibrates when connected to power.
I took it apart and found out that there is still a small LED below the main indicator LED that blinks very slightly in red when the phone is connected to power (pic in attachments).
Any idea what could be wrong with it/if there is any chance to fix it?
Best regards, Septimus

It sounds like the phone is bricked, If you installed something that bricked it follow the Unbrick your Le Pro3, tested and working start at the end of the forum to get more up to date links.
If you did nothing to it, try retuning it for an exchange from the vendor.

JAM does not turn off after being turned off

If I check in "Settings-System-Power-Advanced-On battery power" to turn my JAM off if it is not used for some time (e.g. 3 minutes), it goes off and then I can not turn it on. I tried to push/hold power button, nothing helped but soft reset. If I turn my JAM off manually by pushing power button I can turn it back on manually too. But after 3 or 4 times it acts just like it was turned off automatically, i.e. iregardless if I push or hold power or any button, LED flashes green and the phone does not turn on. The worst part of it is after I push Power button trying to turn my JAM on and LED indicator starts flashing green (and JAM still remains off) if somebody tries to call me he hears the signal as if my phone is ringing (not busy signal or "The number you dial is not available right now" etc.)
Does anybody know what the problem can be? I've got this problem even after hard reset with no third-party applications installed.
non functioning of on/off switch
Check the connectors of your battery on the inside of the JAM. I had the same problem and I found out that one of the connectors did not really "touch" the battery.
I checked it. The contacts on the battery look like they were scratched by contacts on the phone, so I'd think the connectors are in good contact. I even tried to put a small piece of paper between the battery and phone bodyon the left side to make sure it is really pushed to another side, it did not help either
JAM does not turn on after being turned off
Did anyone ever find out the answer to this??! I have the same problem with mine except it's a bit random - mostly doesn't turn back on again after an auto power off for a long(ish) period of time - like at night.
sounds like a possible fault is occurring. Best thing is to do a full backup of your system and then do a hard reset your device and see if the same thing is still happening. If it is, try the positioning of battery as suggested in earlier posts and if still happening, then a handheld service is required

Screen blank on power on

I've had a problem with my E900 since I got it with regards to the screen. I was hoping Mango might fix it but it doesn't seem to have.
Sometimes if I press the power button the screen backlight comes on (i.e. screen goes from off state to powered) but there is nothing on the screen. No amount of button pressing will cause the screen to show anything.
If this happens I have to turn the device off again (backlight then goes off) and try again. Sometimes it can take 2-3 times before it turns on successfully with the lock screen.
I also have this if an incoming call attempts to wake the phone and also alarms too.
Does anyone else have this issue?
I confirm this one popping sometimes. Not that often that it becomes annoying, but nevertheless.
Did you find a solution to this problem? I am experiencing it too and it is very annoying!
I've recently inherited one as well (E900 that is).
The one I have has been dropped, the backlight powers, but no drawing on the screen.
I've disassembled and re plugged everything (bugger stripping down!) but still no luck. I've done a VolUp+Down+Cam+power hard reset, and when I plug into PC Zune says setup needs completing (so it has reformatted) but still no luck.
I cant see anything fried, and no damaged ribbons as far as I can see, any ideas?
I sold the phone a while ago, and never solved the problem. I think it's a firmware issue.

hi.
What do you mean "somethimes if I press power button"?
Is it pressed with purpose to lock the phone, press it to turn off phone (background slider shows to power off - on Mango and beyond version) or press it accidentally?
Cheers.
So, I did a phone reset. Unfortunately the issue is still present!
Sometimes when I press the power button to unlock the phone the screen is lit, but stays blank i.e. no lockscreen wallpaper, no nothing. The same happens sometimes when I get a phone call - the phone rings and vibrates, the screen is lit but stays blank.
When this happens I have to press the power button to put the phone into sleep mode and press it again to wake it up.
What I found is, when the issue occurs the screen is actually responsive. For example I can slid up and unlock the phone then I hear the unlock "pop" sound. It's just that nothing is drawn on it!
I was wondering if anyone else experienced the same behavior and found a resolution. Also I am not sure if this is a software or a hardware problem. If I could confirm it was a hardware problem I would call LG and have the phone repaired or replaced.
i have exactly the same issue as you, it gets really annoying.
i heard from someone online that the only way to resolve it is to replace the motherboard

I am pretty certain this is a hardware issue. I am calling LG tomorrow and hopefully they'll take the phone for repair/replacement.
I sent my phone for repair. Today I got it back, and guess what?!
The issue is still present! It seems, they "couldn't reproduce" or something.
What should I do now?
EDIT: If anyone is interested, here is a video I just captured which clearly demonstrates the problem. http://youtu.be/38kF9RYs_bU
I'm sending the phone back for repair tomorrow with this video attached.
Hey, might not be an issue at all, but in the video, I saw that the two times you were able to get it to go blank you had your finger on or near the proximity sensor. I wonder if there is something that could be the trigger.
Just wondering if you can duplicated it or cause it only when you have the proximity sensor blocked, or if it truely is random.
You are right, it might has something to do with the proximity/light sensor.
On the other hand, this issue occurs even on incoming calls when the phone is placed on a table, screen up and nothing around the sensor.
Today, I visited my local carrier shop and left the phone for repair again. They told me, since this is a second claim they'll run it through the process faster, so I expect to get it back next week.
Will post an update.
UPDATE: My phone was replaced. Yesterday I got a brand new unit, yeah! It was stock wp 7.0. I plugged in my sim and used the phone the whole day, no sign of blank screen issues. Last nigh I installed all the updates (total 5 I think) up to OS 7.10.8107.79, FW 1.0.16.10. Guess what?! Same issue!
I am crushed

[Q] Nexus 4 into salt water

Hi, my unlucky Nexus 4 fell in salt water and there has been for a few seconds. When i catched up, without thinking about it, I powered on the screen. I saw it was working so i turn off the screen and continued to walk (Error#1: I had not turn off the phone).
Completely dead turning on using power botton; under charge a: 11 red led blink - pause - 11 red led blink.
I opened it and removed the salt from the circuits.
Now:
- a blinkin red led charging with original power adaptor
- a continual red led charging via USB mode
In all of this I was able to turn on the device randomly a few times by pressing the power button and volume up, it seemed to work apart the screen that flicker until it turns off (after a while).
is there a way to recover it?
Thanks in advance

The only main thing done WRONG here was turning on the phone on regular intervals.. You should have opened and cleared all the salt kept it in rice, this removes the left over moisture in phone and then you should have tried powering it on.
I doubt your phone is dead almost dead now. nothing can be done in this case.

I've just replaced USB power module, now i get solid red led on charge. No wake up way.
R.I.P. N4, Welcome Moto G
Could be solid red error caused by 'display not found'? Cause I opened again the phone, I saw some burns on the bottom of the display flex cable.
I want to fix my phone but I can't understand which piece is broken mobo or display

Blank screen, notification and menu lights on.

Hello all, I just traded my nexus 6 with a note 4 and it worked well for about 3-4days and now i'm stuck. I received a call, went to answer and the screen was blank. Tried switching off the phone to no avail. Pulled the battery and tried to power it back up again all I get now are different shades of blue led notification then the menu and back buttons light up and that's it, screen blank.
I did try the many ways shown in google to remedy this but nothing works, pulled battery, held power button for 1-2mins and then leave the phone alone for a while and then come back to power it up. Nothing works. Did the guy set me up or did it just happen on my watch. I'm pretty sure he would say that he gave me a fully functioning phone, which he indeed did. Should I just get a new board or am I screwed?
Nothing......cool.

Sometimes screen freezes then phone reboots (¿battery problem?)

Hi, first of all this is my first thread, i hope you guys can help me. Sorry for bad english
I own a S5 G-900F. The phone was working fine until the screen started sometimes, ramdomly to turn black (with ramdom pixels in colours inside) like 5 seconds, then turns off and the phone restarts. This can happen 1-2 times a day while im browsing or doing anything, or even when i turn the screen on to unlock the phone, it turns on and this happens.
I think its a battery problem, it has 2 years and it might be giving low voltage (i have no idea), or maybe a motherboard problem? some water entered inside the case but im not sure.
Another thing i have to say, the "back" button works, as the menu button, but the "back" button has no light. This is weird and i think its related to the water problem. Both buttons work good, but the back button sometimes doesnt light up.
Thank you for the help
