Hi, my unlucky Nexus 4 fell in salt water and there has been for a few seconds. When i catched up, without thinking about it, I powered on the screen. I saw it was working so i turn off the screen and continued to walk (Error#1: I had not turn off the phone).
Completely dead turning on using power botton; under charge a: 11 red led blink - pause - 11 red led blink.
I opened it and removed the salt from the circuits.
Now:
- a blinkin red led charging with original power adaptor
- a continual red led charging via USB mode
In all of this I was able to turn on the device randomly a few times by pressing the power button and volume up, it seemed to work apart the screen that flicker until it turns off (after a while).
is there a way to recover it?
Thanks in advance

The only main thing done WRONG here was turning on the phone on regular intervals.. You should have opened and cleared all the salt kept it in rice, this removes the left over moisture in phone and then you should have tried powering it on.
I doubt your phone is dead almost dead now. nothing can be done in this case.

I've just replaced USB power module, now i get solid red led on charge. No wake up way.
R.I.P. N4, Welcome Moto G
Could be solid red error caused by 'display not found'? Cause I opened again the phone, I saw some burns on the bottom of the display flex cable.
I want to fix my phone but I can't understand which piece is broken mobo or display

Experts,
One Day I got a call while mobile kept in Bag. I answered the call. communication was OK. but when I end up the call I started getting RED LED always on. When I connect it to charger then RED LED turns Amber. And if I switch off the mobile LED turns Green.
Phone behaves like buttons are getting pressed, starts application like volume, camera automatically. Tried to hard reset many times but no success.
Pls help. Is it becoz WM6 got corrupted or moistures
Hello all, I just traded my nexus 6 with a note 4 and it worked well for about 3-4days and now i'm stuck. I received a call, went to answer and the screen was blank. Tried switching off the phone to no avail. Pulled the battery and tried to power it back up again all I get now are different shades of blue led notification then the menu and back buttons light up and that's it, screen blank.
I did try the many ways shown in google to remedy this but nothing works, pulled battery, held power button for 1-2mins and then leave the phone alone for a while and then come back to power it up. Nothing works. Did the guy set me up or did it just happen on my watch. I'm pretty sure he would say that he gave me a fully functioning phone, which he indeed did. Should I just get a new board or am I screwed?
Nothing......cool.
It was working fine till yesterday but when I tried to open it today it is showing nothing just the black screen. It seems to be working as tried to call on the phone. I even flashed the latest rom in the fastboot mode but still there is only a black screen.
Same problem i have if you found the solution let me know please.

Try to enter bootloader mode by pushing and holding power and Vol Down together for 15 sec

I think your phone is hardbricked.
try this guide : https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g4-plus/how-to/moto-g4-plus-hardbrick-solved-guide-t3657761
Hi all. I not sure mine is hard bricked. The screen won't show any signs of life, but the sound is there. It vibrates when booting and rings when I call my number. But the screen is dead. Just to confirm, I didn't install anything, I didn't update, and I didn't dirty flash anything. I think it just discharged. The light is blinking, but other than that nothing more than ringing, during which the screen doesn't light up. Holding vol. down + power, no matter how long, does nothing. Any ideas?

it should atleast show charging screen when device is off, and Bootloader screen too..
It looks more a hardware failure..
Go for service center...

Hardware failure indeed. When I ring it, it actually does ring. Of course, there's no way to pick up the call with a dead screen
That screen was recently replaced and is still on warranty. I'll send it back. For now, I decided to make a good thing out of a misfortune - with my Moto G4 Plus out of action I bought myself a Moto G5S Plus.
Hey,
last weekend I somehow ended up with my Le Pro 3 not working anymore.
It may have come into contact with water or alcohol, but only very small amounts if at all.
The main exterior problem it seems to have is that the Power button wont pop out again after pressing it in (probably because some small amount of beer or something got there).
Right now it does not really react to anything. The display stays black all the time, pressing or holding the power button down triggers no reaction.
The only thing that kept happening is that it sometimes vibrates when connected to power.
I took it apart and found out that there is still a small LED below the main indicator LED that blinks very slightly in red when the phone is connected to power (pic in attachments).
Any idea what could be wrong with it/if there is any chance to fix it?
Best regards, Septimus
It sounds like the phone is bricked, If you installed something that bricked it follow the Unbrick your Le Pro3, tested and working start at the end of the forum to get more up to date links.
If you did nothing to it, try retuning it for an exchange from the vendor.
Hello Everyone..
What happened: my phone was suddenly stuck/freezed. I switched it off for a reboot but it never came up again. Now I am stuck with a black screen. The phone was not dropped, not exposed to water.Already triedower button short & power button for 10sec / 20sec ...Volume down & power buttonLeave it for dischargeCharging it over a long time (with original 1+ charger)Connect it to PC (does not recognize the phone)Nothing worked and I cannot access recovery mode. What it still does: it just vibrates occasionally when I press power or volume down & power. However, it stays black, no boot logo/splash screen. Very infrequently (maybe every 10th on/off) there is a short blink of a red warning sign, which i was able to record. It says the "battery is too low, charge for a while before..." even when charged for a long time!
You may have set e light wallpaper backgroud wallpaper that turned the pattern dot into blacks. So basically the dots are there . Draw your pattern by guessing the dots. The device wil be unlocked. Then change the wallpaper.
