I bought my Honor 8 lite (model number: PRA-LA1) from Saudi but at present i am living in india. I was fed up with the emui so i successfully unlocked bootloader, installed TWRP and rooted my device. After that i downloaded lineage os 14.1 unofficial rom form here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/8-lite/development/rom-lineageos-14-1-honor-8-lite-t3713916
Then i went into the recovery wiped all my data except the SD card and installed the Rom and Gapps. After that when i rebooted my phone, its just showing the lineage os loading screen. I waited around 1hour and repeated the same process twice. I suddenly took it to a nearby local shop. They are saying they cant repair it. The phone got rebranded to honor 6x or some other. I dont know. Please help me. I was using the latest emui what i can get for honor 8 lite. Any kind of help is appreciated. Please help me guys. I have got no other option:crying:

Recently I bought a Huawei Nova and gave my Honor 7 to my wife, as I got to know, that Nova runs on Android 7 atm. However, I can't update my device to the android 7. The firmware I have now is CAN- L01C150B102. When I try updating my phone, the update goes to 5% and then crashes with a note "unable to update device, for more informations go to ... (insert huawei website url)". Does anyone know what seems to be the problem? Or sb. updated their L-01 Nova to Nougat and can share a working firmware.

Which update are you trying to install?

hey guys. so this is my story. A couple of days ago i bought the huawei p8 lite and i decided to root it. i unlocked it, then installed twrp and when i installed super su from zipped file it got bricked. after that i managed to flash the stock firmware emui 4.0 marshmallow but now the device don't read the sim and when y type *#06# it says imei null. i had tried everything , installing a custom rom, installed the old firmware from the official huawei website but still the same problem. my phone is telcel from mexico by the way and i currently installed again emui 4.0 with marshmallow from the update.app. thanks for any help

So, I had bought a p9 lite recently on a reconditioned phone store. The probleme is that i cannot open any app related to google. So i decided to update my build.
I have unlocked the bootloader, i have installed Twrp 3.0.2 and my phone is running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and i would like to install C432 with Android 7.1.2
My build number is (and that's the problem) "VNS-L31C900B163"
I've tried a lot of technics but i can't manage to make it, I really need help :crying:
So if someone as any idea on how i could do this or atleast install a new Android version i'd really be happy and thankful

this procedure doesnt work for me,
im tryed many time but always error, and dont have the oreo installed, then i change the oem info by elite twrp, and now my p8 completely bricked, not enter in fastboot mode, not enter in recovery mod, not in system only in erecovery but procedure via wifi dont start, "package error", via folder dload/update.app not work.....
any suggestion for unbrick?

Hey guys, my phone just stucked in bootloop. I was installing havoc rom and it stucked in bootloop. Although I had made a backup of my previous rom but when I'm trying to restore that it is also getting stucked in bootloop. I can't find the firmware of my build no. PRA-AL00X 8.0.0.310 (C675) Indian version. Can somebody help me?

Thanks for this. But it will be great if you provide the link of nougat firmware EMUI 5.x
Wipe cache partition and do factory reset. I installed the rom from the above link for my honor 8 lite it also stuck in the boot loop I do wipe cache partition. Then finally it fixed my soft bricked honor 8 lite. But this firmware is not for honor8lite. Now my phone changed to honor p8 lite. What will I do. I don't know what to do. But this os is working properly. Anyone can help me???
