p9 lite bricked, i need the b125 full!

I have installed the b161 update nobrand on my vodafone p9 lite, now i can't complete the initial setup, i searched for the vns-l31c02b125 full update, but i found only the ota, someone can help me?

I had the same problem last weekend,
Just install the L31C02B123 and the update to the B125 via OTA.
Downside is that you'll loss root and all. I hope you have a backup.

hello, i'm using Huawei P9 Lite VNS-L21. i tried to flash the stock nougat Firmware Which i actually did and it worked flawless! but there was a little problem because there wasn't any Software update option in there, so after that i wanted to downgrade to stock MM. IDK what happened wrong while installing that, my phone got BRICKED. i don't have the Erecovery and twrp either. i cant flash firmware via DLOAD Method. the only thing i have is FASTBOOT mode..
i tried literally everything.. but nothing working..
I sent it to HUAWEI CUSTOMER CARE and they returned it back after a couple of days...
im really very worried because ive been using this phone for like 2 months ... and now im helplesss, If anybody is reading this please help/ assist me out of this.. Thanks in advance!

Can't remember off the top of my head because my mate 8 is not with me but I think L29 firmware should be compatible with your firmware also.

boatloader unlocked and impossible to install TWRP
I tried several version 3.0.2.0 or 3.1.1.1 or 3.1.0.0 or 3.2.1.0 without result
I tried other rom since the recovery and failled at 5%
please help

try and unlock the bootloader again,it has relocked itself i think.at least that is what i did and i started working again.i cant update from a rebranded l29c432b180!

was that the problem?i had to find out myself,cause nobody said it in the guides.but glad i found it out and even more so if it helped you.managed to rebrand a saudi version to c432 european version with latest b582 firmware.hope it works fine for you too!cheers.

Help! My Honor 8 lite got bootlooped

I bought my Honor 8 lite (model number: PRA-LA1) from Saudi but at present i am living in india. I was fed up with the emui so i successfully unlocked bootloader, installed TWRP and rooted my device. After that i downloaded lineage os 14.1 unofficial rom form here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/8-lite/development/rom-lineageos-14-1-honor-8-lite-t3713916
Then i went into the recovery wiped all my data except the SD card and installed the Rom and Gapps. After that when i rebooted my phone, its just showing the lineage os loading screen. I waited around 1hour and repeated the same process twice. I suddenly took it to a nearby local shop. They are saying they cant repair it. The phone got rebranded to honor 6x or some other. I dont know. Please help me. I was using the latest emui what i can get for honor 8 lite. Any kind of help is appreciated. Please help me guys. I have got no other option:crying:

Help to find a guide to update

I need a little help, I read many posts, but I still have not found the correct one, my p8 lite 2017 with twrp installed, based on emui 5.0.1 nougat, I would like to install a base rom oreo emui 8, but first I should install a roman stock emui 8 android oreo, but I can not figure out where I can find a working guide, can someone help me?

this procedure doesnt work for me,
im tryed many time but always error, and dont have the oreo installed, then i change the oem info by elite twrp, and now my p8 completely bricked, not enter in fastboot mode, not enter in recovery mod, not in system only in erecovery but procedure via wifi dont start, "package error", via folder dload/update.app not work.....
any suggestion for unbrick?

I have a Huawei Honor Note 8 which came from China originally with EMUI 4 and Android 5 (or 6?). I however managed to upgrade it to EMUI 5 and Android 7.
After upgrade the build changed to EDI-AL10C233B359 which is different from factory build when I purchased it.
When I heard about Android 8 Oreo, I decided to upgrade my phone again.
It's been a while now that I've been trying to update to Android 8 Oreo reading different guides. So far was only able to unlock bootloader.
Last attempt ended up to have to factory reset my phone but now my phone get stock in blue screen with Honor logo. I've both tried factory reset and recovery but none worked and again after completion of each i get stock in blue screen.
I appreciate any help with:
- how to fix it to get it up and running
- how I can update to Oreo?

Reboot into Erecovery and restore your system via Wifi.
The Official Oreo is out,after Restore B359 comes the Ota Update B528 Oreo

i hope you can have i have the same issue as the guy one post up. I have followed your tip to do an erecovery but after that it doesn't update to a newer version.

My honor note 8 is having the firmware EDI-AL10C233B359 ( my phone is rooted )
I didn't get the OTA to android Oreo or won't update in erecovery either.
From what I understand we have to change it AL10C00B359 to actually update to B528
Can you give the detailed steps to change from EDI-AL10C233B359 to EDI-AL10C00B359 ?
Can we change the region by flashing oeminfo and custombin for EDI-ALC00B359 in TWRP?
Can you share the oeminfo and custombin for EDI-ALC00B359?

No,the old version Nougat and mm shows C233 and the Oreo C00.This phone is only for China Market and there is only this one version.
