Hmm, what ROM are you using? Does this behaviour occur with a clean flash or on the stock ROM?

Thanks, are you using the Motorola turbocharger and if you download an app like ampere, what voltage and current are you getting?
Does this happen even with a factory reset of the stock ROM? Is it the stock ROM without modification or do you have root or xposed?

Its completely unmodified i didn't measure the voltage when this happened but I'll do it next time whenever it happens... It usually happens at low battery around 10-25℅.

Hmm, if it's repeatedly happening at low battery levels, it may be that your battery is discharging too far to charge properly (from what I understand, it may be the charge protection circuitry), which may indicate a failing battery. I'm not sure why a reboot fixes it temporarily (maybe resets the power management?)
I'd suggest maintaining your battery charge level above 25 % or perhaps replacing your battery - discharging your battery fully may not help in this regard and may prevent you from charging the lithium battery at all.

Battery problem.

My Wildfiire battery doesnt last nearly as long as it did when I first got it.
I have had it with many custom ROM's and 2 RUU's to see if it could be the a software issue but they all do the same.
I have gotten a new battery but does the same.
The only thing is when I install and do all the wipes the battery cache doesnt seem to say its completed and its done that on all the rom's and ruu's.
I am using Rom manager with the lastest clockworkmod.
3G and wifi is always on and has always been that way auto sync is of.
Any ideas ppl?
Would love some help.
cheers
Wow nobody had this problem?
Not me certainly. Battery life actually seems better to me than when I got it, thanks to the CPU Clock setting apps and Custom ROMs.
i've had some problems as well, it stays at 100% for a LONG time and then drops drastically if I'm using mobile data. Try draining fully, boot into recovery and clear battery stats, and then charging full. then don't charge again until dead, after which charge it till its full again. might help.

Actually, when the phone turns off on its own, it still has some juice left, should be more than enough to boot into recovery and clear stats.

[Q] Blade I reboots a lot when charger plugged in and full charged

I really don´t know if this happen with stock rom but since i remember it happens almost with any no official rom i´ve tried. I presume it happens with stock rom too but i really don´t remember.
When i have the phone full charged (at 100%) and connected to the charger it reboots a lot.
This is annoying because sometimes i want to do some battery demand tasks like playing videos, gaming or surf on the web through wi-fi and i have to have it disconnected from the charger when it reaches 100%.
This happens with yours Blades too? Something i can do to solve this issue?

Yeah , you have to Wipe Battery Stats inside CWM Recovery.

I´ve tried that and no change.. It still reboots a lot when battery full charged and plugged to charger. I really don´t understand.
This is annoying and wears out the battery unnecessarily.

Try to perform a full wipe and flash a new rom 3 times and then reboot.
This should fix the problem.

I would like to suggest you to check the batteries properly. Buy the authenticated once.
first flash the stock image and check the battery on it

first of all try a battery calibration program like this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nema.batterycalibration&hl=en
maybe it is a calibration problem.
as far as i know batter stats are not erased with a factory reset
then try an app like this :https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ccc71.bmw&hl=en
it should tell you the battery capacity and see if everything is working as it should.
good luck! i hope that will solve your problems, or at least find out what your problem is!
P.S. if it is an app related problem, or wakelock related you can find it with betterbattery stats.

That battery calibration app is a placebo. The batterystats.bin file doesn't do anything to change the microcontroller inside the battery pack itself.

Allow the phone to discharge fully until it turns itself off, by normal use and not using a battery draining app (or a benchmark). Then charge slowly and continuously until full, without making the battery hot, eg. by USB port on computer.
If you discharge too quickly you risk getting the red light of doom.

I missed it just a little, I got to 98% charge, but a few minutes and quickly under 93%. It is a breakthrough.
it was with a single USB cable charge (not data), lest appears the red light of death
tonight will try only usb cable data.
Greetings

Last few percent takes longer to charge, I think this is by design. Mine behaves the same way.

[Q] LG G2 D802 battery problem after getting overheated

Hi all,
I would like to ask you(with better skills than me) something about my LG device. Once I got up after listening to music my device was approximately 42celsius degrees and i had to turn it off for 30 mins to get it on a normal temperature. After that I realized my device battery is draining so fast. I don't know why....my idea is that: because of the high temperature or it's a software bug. I plug my phone off at 6:30am and after using it a little I only have maximum 20% at 4:00pm. I'm using Alegen's 5.0.1 rom and all the people who use it said they haven't got a problem like me. I downloaded CPUz and it says my battery life is good. So please help me because I don't know what to do.
Sorry about my English.
42 is a verry low temp. My G2 have 45 in idle, doing nothing. Dont worry, there is no pb with battery

Thanks for your answer but what should I do with my battery draining? I'm using it on a very low brightness and wifi is turned off,etc...
Make a nandroid backup and then try reflashing to stock after a full battery charge. Use the phone until 5-2% and then fully charge it. Then use as normal and see if it helps. If that hasnt helped it could be battery issues.
Also when the phone heats up is it near the top beside the camera?

Maybe you have some apps which keeps your device awake, try with another rom/kernel kombination (dont use 5.0 roms to test battery as battery is better on stock based roms)

99% of the time this is the case - a rogue app running, or one of its services, keeping the phone awake and running in the background.
OP, try this: reset the phone to factory settings, restart it and then just leave it like that for 30 minutes or so. Don't even enter your SIM PIN or anything. If the phone is still heating up, the unit is defective and requires service (it is not impossible that the battery is shorting out somewhere somehow).

Under factory reset you mean I have to backup the original LG software or my lollipop rom is good?
No, just try resetting to factory defaults (obviously, back up everything important), you can do it either through the menu or the recovery.

Taking my device to service center tomorrow IST.

I've been having strange fluctuations in the battery which I noticed and I was assuming it was some of wake locks or alarms causing this drain.
I also noticed the battery getting heated during charging.
The weirdest issue I faced is that every first boot after full barge reduces to -10%later reboots meet them intact I noticed this on stock rom and custom rom also, Also while charging I saw that from 93%to 100 %jump was just in few min which is totally ubnormal.
Tough my fast charging was turned off.
Hopefully it's just a battery issue I can't live without this device after giving it for service.
Is anybody else having these issue ??
I think its a software issue did you try doing a factory reset ? Disable all the useless apps? Remove the battery once in awhile? Jumps from 93-94%to 100 is not uncommon

I guess this has been fixed by resetting the battery gauge after full charge to 100% I had to pull the battery wait for about 3mins and put it back after this reset procedure looks like the last 2 charge cycles dint have those random drops after reboots, but I've the battery drains I need to figure out what problem is I get a maz of 4hsot.
