ANyone with the solution for this or is there any mobile part i have to replace?

Did you clean the charger hole or your phone's charger hole?

Yes i have tried cleaning

I experienced this twice already. It happens when I was gaming and my phone was overheating and was getting lowbat. It did turn off and didn't turn on or charge.
What I did was take my phone apart and remove the battery connector from the main board. Put the charger while the batt is still disconnected and the phone showed battery logo on screen. Then connect the battery connector and it begins to charge.
Disassembling the phone wasn't easy but I managed anyway. Just be very careful while opening it.

It only happens when I'm playing pubg on high fps settings and using mobile data.

You experienced the same problem like me? Red indicator blinks while trying to charge when phone off and not charging when phone is off? Before this my phone was working fine although it was not charging but all functions were ok.
So suggest me...should i do it your way?

Yes, the led just blinks on and off while the phone is off. But the first time it happened, it wasn't even blinking. That was the time I took it apart.
Maybe try first to press all buttons and see if it boots in EDL or recovery. Or let it stay on charge a bit longer. Have you tried other wall chargers? Just the regular chargers, not quick charge. The time it was blinking for me, I managed to boot it to twrp and charge it on this state.

Here ia the video of my phone...its keep on doing that but still it keep to charge upto 4% now and in between it showed X on battery like its showing there is not battery.

Orange/Red Light

Hi,
Wondered if anyone can help me out. I have an XDA Mini S, not been used for a while but now I've tried to use it again and I cannot get it to charge. Sometimes orange light comes on and it looks like its charging but then light starts flashing orange or goes out, device won't stay on more than a few seconds. Also sometimes get red light flashing or constant, anyone seen this??
Thanks.

battery is dead, get a new one...
It could be that the battery is too dead to get it to boot into windows. I've noticed on my G4 Qtek 9100 Wizard, that if i kill the battery all the way i cannot get it to charge what so ever.
It seems as if the charging circuit will not function unless the device is booted up. I can put the battery into a standalone charger to charge it up a bit, then put it into the Wizard and then it will charge the rest of the way after is has booted into windows.
I made a post previously about this, and got one reply which did not help, as a registry change has no function if the device cannot even turn on to begin with

Are you plugging it in with the wall charger? If so maybe the battery is dead?
Doug: The Wizard can not be charged (except by the wall charger or some other method) unless the battery still has juice. It requires extra power to jump start the battery. This is documented in the manual and in lots of places on this board...

Thanks, I did not know this was an offically known thing. It's unusual from any other standard cell phone or PDA i have owned in the past.
With them I did not need to worry about the battery running down to 0. If it did, I could just plug the phone or PDA in and they would charge, after they had charged for 10min or so there would be enough charge to turn the device on. I perfer to run my battery down to 30-25% before charging again, due to the limit on charge cycles that Lithim-Ion batteries have. Although sometimes i just forget to charge it
Those charge cycles are the reason alot of people kill the capacity of their laptop/phone battery in a few months. They constantly plug and unplug from their AC adapter. Each plugin initiates another charge, even if its just a small top off charge.
Finally got a new battery and still no joy, when i plug charger into phone i get orange light as if its charging but after about 20 seconds the orange light starts flashing (not a missed call/message as phone has been flashed and no sim card in). Do you think the charging circuit could be broken?

Interesting... hmm. Have you tried charging the battery(ies) in a different phone? (eg. a friend's, service provider's store?, etc?) Have you tried a different charger? USB-comp, wall, auto?

Tried a few different chargers, usb cable and car, none of these work, unit worked with new battery but must have been charge present when battery first delivered. Incidently all chargers used do charge my xda orbit so i know they work.

Help :(

My X1 doesn't turn on anymore! I just woke up and it was off. I left it recharging during the night... Now when I plug it in all I see is a red light on the power on/off button. Any ideas?
Could it be just the battery?
The problem is i got it from someone in England so i'm not sure about warranty.
take off the battery cover and then take out ur stylus and you will see a little hole next to the battery and then take ur stylus and push he little button in tha hole and then that will restart it.
no, that doesn't solve it... but thanks
i tried removing the battery and leaving it off for a while but nothing...
the red light appears only when the phone is supposedly charging
Then leave it charging for hours and don't touch it until the red light goes away. Then you can switch it on again.
Don't let a Lithium-battery run out of power! It drastically reduces the battery lifetime and it's not easy for the controller to charge it again.
Recharge the battery before it runs out, best at >40%
Hmm... think I encountered that red light problem before, though can't really remember how I solved it. Think encountered it when I was charging using another cable (and not the original one) and later was ok after using the original cable + charger.
Thanks guys
I'll try doing that. I never left it with less than 50% battery though... I have no idea why this happened.
I'll give news later today

When the battery decreases that fast (50% over night) than maybe the battery is broken. If charging over a few hours does not help, you should try another battery.

I left it charging (it was at around 60% when i plugged it)
Still doesn't work.. the red light goes off after a bit and if i try to turn it on (while plugged) a red light by the USB port flashes 3 times.
It has the same behaviour as if the battery wasn't on.
I tried reading the voltage and it's at 3.3v which is 0.3v below normal but that's because it's not fully charged, right?
I'm afraid of throwing away another €35 for a new battery and it still doesn't work :\

Are you charging with a computer?
Try the real charger. You can always try a battery from another one who has the same phone or go to a shop where they sell it and kindly ask for a battery to try.
Should be no problem.
oh man! it's working now! i don't know what happened... I didn't do anything else. In fact, I had just sent an e-mail to Sony Ericsson

It seems your USB-PC port does not give currency to the phone. It's the other way around -the Computer sucks the power out of the battery.
You can look in the Hardware Manager (PC) how which currency the USB port provides -it should be around 500mA when the phone is plugged is.
I would suggest using the wall charger to be sure the phone is charging.

It's weird. I've been using the same port every night since I got the X1 and it always charged it perfectly. They all provide the 500mA.
Yeah, I'll use the wall charger from this day on whenever I can haha... *phew*

charging problems

Hi guys asked it once before in battery section, but no replies.
My HD doesn't charge auto, when I press the on button the battery charges for 15 sec. tried a new battery same result. I know it Physicly charges, when I charge the phone by pressing the on button a couple of 100 times (really 100x) I get 1% charge. So don't say 'HTC phones only charge when on', cause I know.. Tried a Hard reset 2 times no luck. meanwhile my batt. is dead. So I can't try other firmware.(need 50% charge min)
(chargers are fine)
In short, anybody ever heard of this problem before with other htc models/HD ?
Physicly it charges, so would a firmware change help?(then I need to get a standalone charger/new battery with charge).
My last option is to bring it to HTC but that would take a month
Sorry for number of words on this lazy sunday.
Update - firmware update doesn't work.. next is radio....
no ideas anybody?
Hi,
Unfortunately I dont know much other, then charge the battery in another HD up if available (maybe u can ask in a telephoneshop or so) and then test the Firmware changes.
Is the same if you charge it via PC/USB?
thx for the reply, did just that, changed Rom/radio, official and dutty's rom's, no change. No problem sync. have atleast 3 usb chargers none of them work. When connected to usb cable 2 lights blink 1 green 1 amber one after each other. just like a new message/ low battery even when battery has 50% I get the same light patern, (this is a new battery).
The thing is when the battery is completly flat it stil charges for 15 sec then it turns of. So when I charge it 15 (x15 sec) times or so I'm able to turn the device on again. But when it has (some) battery power the lights start blinking again and I'm completly unable to charge the battery.
The phone is almost 2 weeks old and charged normaly until I checked the "don't charge when connected to usb" option in the power menu. ??!
Then I think you wont get around, to send it back for repair.
have you tried to charge it with a wall socket or is this only when you usb to pc charge??

I just used another HD battery to restore everything to default, So I'll guess I'm taking it back..
Thx anyway.
exact same problem
Did you get anywhere with this problem? I have been strugling with the exact same thing... I have tried all the same things as you, only sometimes it seems like it might be the battery contacts.. I havent been able to consistently get it to work but sometimes if I firmly press the battery against the contacts it will behave normally

Nope tried the contacts but they work fine, battery just won't charge, do your light also blink? (on the power button).
I haven't found any info on the web?!?:S
Problem is solved.. had to be sent back to HTC for repair, it took less then 2 weeks (door to door) so that was pretty fast. They swapped the mainbord, so I got my 'old' phone with a new imei.
So don't waste your time with software up/downgrades. It's a hardware problem.
I had a very similar problem.
Once my battery died some app hung system all night.
No charging at all wall charger and USB 1 day each and so many manipulations. The indicator blinks momentarily and then nothing. I didn't try (didn't know) the key presses like Dogtag. Did a hard reset still nothing...
Then thought about charging the battery with external (Lion) charger before sending for repair. I also shorted the battery compartment pins momentarily. To my pleasant surprise everything back to normal
So far no problems after that though I never drained my battery to zero.
Looks like something to do with corruption in battery calibration data - may not be in ROM?? who knows??
fantastic. can u elaberate?

Only two things I did can matter -
1. Charging the battery after taking it out (with a battery charger*)
2. shorting pins in the battery compartment after taking out the battery. (Warning: not on batteries)
Don't know which of the two worked.. No harm trying both anyway.
* U need a Li-ion battery charger - else invitation for trouble including fire and explosion.. These are available in electronics shop at a reasonable price.
Short-circuiting the battery pins... seems to work
I had the same problems with my Touch HD the last few weeks:
- stopped charging after a few seconds
- didn't charge at all (nor the wall nor the computer method, on or off)
- well... it charged sometimes but randomly, keeping it on a wall charger (on OR off) for a night could bring it back to 20% and then rapidly back to 0%
- no charging indicator in the screen while turned on
- blinking orange and yellow (?) light even while turned off
- charged almost never to full and 'jumping' from high to ultra low capacity when turning it on & off
So before bringing it back to the store i tried to short circuit the battery pins as suggested (while the battery and charge were unhooked) like the thing you would do to clear the CMOS memmory of a PC in the 'old days'
And for now it seems to work, at least the charging icon is back online!
I'll keep you posted on longer term results!
Update: I switched to the wall charger and the HD died again??? Now it's back on the computer and it seems to charge fine... why????

When u say "shorted the battery" do u mean, turnoing phone off, taking battery out, connecting the 3 battery connectors with a wire for a few seconds?
....so what does shorting mean??

I thing so. You should circuit the pins WITHOUT battery. In any other case it may occurs damage on the telephone
Dogtag is right... it's defenitly a hardware problem
As posted before...i had the same problem with my touch HD, charging was a pain or sometimes seemed impossible. The phone was repaired twice.
-First they replaced the connector - no succes.
-Second time the replaced the motherboard, and everything was solved.
So imho it's the mainboard of some machines, i still wonder if it's a factory problem or a 'fried' chip of some kind after a bad charging procedure? Bad USB car charger of some kind?

Phone doesn't charge

When i plug my phone to either pc or ac the yellow light blinks and the battery reads 100%. Usually the yellow light is solid and the battery show as if its plugged in. Can someone please help?
Have you examined the contacts on the usb plug and where the battery snaps in?
That is usually the middle contact for the battery.
Pull the battery cover and battery out and inspect the battery connectors. My guess in the middle one is bent forward. Bend it back gently and be careful if you have to pull the battery.
The soft reset button is a better option if you just need to do a battery pull.
Are you using the standard HD2 battery that came with your phone? I bought a cheap $5 backup battery and I have this exact same issue when I try to charge it. The stock battery works perfectly though.
hot
I have the same problem, but only when I use internet on the phone for a period of time. When the antenna is used continuously it gets very warm, and I noticed that's the moment it quits loading and flashes the light. Maybe the battery gets too hot?
so what is the solution - will not charge from network charger nor from usb - when i pluged network charger for whole noght it was blinking green and orange and indicator wrote 100 percent of charge but when i looked into battery properties it showed me 9 percent and no charge - so by night it discharged fully and no answer on any doings
Some things that may indicate the flashing lights.
orange blinking is overheating.. but don't worry it does that and then it will pause charging for a bit and charge in waves rather then 1 cycle to let the phone cool down..it wont be a previous gen devices where it stops charging or gets extremely hot.

Flashing green light when there are new SMS, MMS or e-mail messages, missed calls, or reminders.
Solid green light when the device is connected to the power adaptor or a computer and the battery is fully charged.
Solid amber light when the battery is being charged.
Flashing amber light when the remaining battery level reaches below 10%

The only solution I heard of that works is to do a soft reset.
An alternative is to switch off the phone, then after 10 minutes or so plug it into the charger. This means that the charging circuitry is only supplying power to charge the battery and not power the phone as well.

Hd2 not getting charged!!!! Pls help me

Hi Folks,
My HTC HD2 Android not getting charged either by a wall charger or usb via my pc... i dont what happened suddenly it got turned off due to low battery and when i pluged it for chrging its not showing orange LED notification of charging. when its off and plugged in Orange LED blinked once and Phone got switched on. And when its connected to PC for abt 3 mins it will show charging and after that it shows discharging and battery drains when it shows it discharging . pls help me out coz i dont want to loose my Leo .
Thanx in advance,,,,
Check the pins at the phone which connects to the battery. Sometimes they are deformed and this cause the charging/not charging problem.
But... in this case I don't think this is the problem, because this problem should not affect direct charging from usb cable.
Anyway check them just for sure!
Thanks VDodi

Best way is not to let it run out
However, normally it will have enough charge left once it dies to boot up far enough to start charging. If this is not the case, then you have to cut open a USB cable and use the red and black wires to charge the battery. I have not had to do this and am unsure as to how to do it but there are tutorials. It seems simple enough.

Consider, as was previously suggested, a cable connection issue.
While you do not currently have the luxury of looking at your status icons, I have found that, on occasion, when I plugged in the phone to charge, the status icon indicated a USB connection, rather than a charging icon. Unplugging the cable and re-inserting the cable fixed it.
Note that new high quality cables can exhibit the same issue.
You have nothing to lose... Give it a shot.
Good luck.

Take out battery, plug chopped up USB cable into wall charger, use fingers to hold red to + black to -, count to twenty, battery in phone, phone into bootloader, real charger cable into phone and wall charger, leave 10 mins, reboot into android. (Can charge all the way in bootloader, but it seems slower than when android is running.)

By 'tutorials on how to do this' I basically meant your posts
As previously said if you're using magldr you need to be booted into Android before the phone will charge. You can try to warm the battery up in your hands to squeeze the last bit of power out of it to boot up. Or there are standalone hd2 battery charges you can buy from eBay that charge your battery outside of the phone, they're pretty cheap.
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA App
As Samuel said you can charge phone in bootloader. Just try!
Had to buy external charger
item # M00366 this charger was cheap has led's that change from red to blue as the battery charges and has a usb port so you can charge a battery in phone at the same time.
I'd been alternating tween an extended battery and the original when my HD2 started discharging while plugged in. same batteries and nearly a year of typhoon's excellent ROM progression then wham dead batteries....
