Hi guys I'm on fulmics 4.2, i didn't install V4A through aroma. When I go in the fulmics Tweaks I notice no difference in the audio processing whatever audio setting I choose in the Music section.
I was thinking on installing an audio mod as the Sauron's one or the A.R.I.S.E. project.
Which is your experience? Which is your headphones audio config?

Iv'e tried it its not the same bro it has a good quality but the sound volume is the same as stock
In combination with a Rom with kernel that supports Fauxsound (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.teamkang.fauxsound&hl=nl) it's perfect. Volume is really loud and of perfect quality.

yeah bro i actually downloaded fauxsound pro but my phone is c5303 running on 4.1.2 .254 stock and its not supported and the phone is LB and it cannot be unlocked (bad luck for me) any other ideas??
The following link might help you to increase the volume: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xpe...a-volume-boost-increase-t2302748/post42014040
However, it won't give you beats audio quality.

Megabassbeats on xps
I prefer the megabassbeats sound (its a mix of different sound"machines", including beats audio files). I got it working on stock (rooted) rom, android 4.3 with dsp manager.
Here is what I did:
Download mbb4.3.zip http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-nexus/themes-apps/mod-megabassbeats-v4-t1873121
With een clean flash, i got into bootloop. So I deleted AudioEffectService.apk in the zip file (using 7zipper), so the original apk stayes intact. The next thing was a conflict between the stock equalizer en dspmanager. So I renamed the SoundEnhancement.apk into SoundEnhancement.apk.bak in the system\app map, now the stock equalizer won't install at startup. And voila, everything works nice and smooth.
All credits and thanks go to HuMaNiZeD.
Hey guys is there a way to make headset volume louder on i9301i ?
Use PowerAMP and play with the equaliser
I wuould use Viper.
Custom roms that include ViperAudio mod have higher volume due the better audio processing without distorting audio.
I don't know if it is easy to install Viper Aduio to Stock rom but you should look at it.

Yup, viper is great. It's easy to install, just install the app, install the drivers, disable seandroid and reboot. I used xposed and the wanam xposed module to disable seandroid, I don't know if there's a better way to do that.

SWEET.
Ive tried to install Viper on stock ROM but it failed. Ive used DSP+ for KitKat but i will try your method!
Try to edit mixer_paths and install v4a. My device with denon headset just rocks! The dac in i930i is awesome!
Note: I Haven't developed this, I just found this and thought it would help if I shared it......
I've noticed there isn't a thread for ViPER4Android on the Stock ROM........... Installing ViPER4Android on custom ROMs like CM, AOKP, AICP, Turbo, etc. is really easy. Whereas installing it on a Stock ROM is really difficult....
So here are the steps on how to do so:
1. Wipe Cache & Dalvik in recovery
2. Then install the 4 zips in the given order.
3. Wipe Cache & Dalvik again
4. Reboot
5. Then install the update apk, SELinux Mode Changer and busybox installer apks
6. Set SELinux to Permissive and install busybox
7. Install the drivers through the ViPER4android app and reboot
8. Make sure SELinux is Premissive
9. Profit$$$$$
I think Dolby Atmos is better than viper4android. Because almost kernels for qualcomm soc support dolby sound

I personally use ViPER4Android cause I'm used to it and find it very easy to use (Like to improve bass).
Also I just couldn't get Dolby Atmos to work on the Stock ROM (6.0) running ur kernel

I am using chriszuma kernel with dolby atmos. All work well
I don't know if you guys know about the project A.R.I.S.E (Link- http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/r-s-e-sound-systems-auditory-research-t3379709/), it's probably the best thing to happen to android.
You should definitely check it out. And it's totally compatible with stock 6.0.
V4A and Atoms works wonderfully together. It's like sounds you've never heard before. :good:
Maybe I'm exaggerating.
If Possible Pls create a zip file or apk of the sound enchancer like miui to work in Custom Rom 6.0 or 7.1 if possible. Because Sound is Clear and Non disturbing in Miui after turning on the mi sound enchancer.
Thank you
In Mokee 6.0, Viper4 is stock, very good. If you are in N android, you can download it: http://en.miui.com/thread-279436-1-1.html
I also want the same
The headphone presets in mi sound enhancer were awesome. Did you find any way to port it to Custom roms??
There are better options available such as the BioHazard Sound Mod, Arise Sound Mod or simply V4A.

Haven't found a solution yet...music FX is present in 7.1 roms but no sound enchancer...camera is ok in 7.1.
I'm still using miui 7 for sound and camera output...

Those sound mod like arise do not much thing unless u set a good viper4android setting .
Try adiuophiles also. Hiphop modern.IRS(my recommend.)
You will not get that much difference in speaker. But in headphone arise is as good as miui.
the best one is the Dolby. use this link and download the zip and flash it but don't flash the uninstaller zip. flash the other two.

Hi all
I have not been able to get Dolby Atmos and v4a to work nicely together. I have searched and downloaded for months with no luck. My set up has been the same since March.
AexExtended 5.3 Official
TWRP 3.2.1.0
B32_O bootstack.
This setup has been solid for me.
DolbyAtmos guitardedhero 2.5.0.15_r1
I would like to get v4a simply for the cars Bluetooth.
Many thanks for any and all suggestions.
i recommend you use 1 of them.I think viper best for you but i stick on hifi dac and dolby atmos.I believe its the best for the axon 7

Got them working together nicely just recently. Posted info here https://forum.xda-developers.com/axon-7/how-to/info-n-dolby-port-v4a-setup-custom-8-1-t3824475
Also update your bootstack to B32+B10 for working hifi DAC
You could keep viper turned off for headphones and speaker, on for bluetooth.
