I know that you can install from firmware finder the official ROM.
I don't know how. But there are some posts in XDA explaining that.

If you want you can Rebrand the phone to EU and then Unlock 2nd SIM (if you have only 1 sim) and then Install stock rom B182.
2nd SIM works, No more Vodaphone logo.

[Q] Brand new out of box i9505, i want to install CM

Hi Guys
As usuall, nothing with new equipment is easy
I hav a brand new i9505, from vodafone ireland. I want to kill their stupid firmware in the face!
My baseband version is i9505xxudmgg
My trouble is that to install CWM, i need to factory unlock it, but every guide out there is for an older firmwar that had carrier menu's available when to dialed *#0011#, mine does not
Has anyone got an up to date guide on sim unlocking, and then installing CWM?
This guys seems to be in the same boat

Hi All
No replies as yet, but ive done some looking around and it all seems like KNOX is a pain in the ass, and we cannot get around it yet.
If anyone has a newer guide to sim unlock my phone, please post it up, or a full guide on installing CWM on an out of the box phone

Not sure, but I think all you need to do is install fresh firmware by wiping data, cache, dalvik cache... Will it fix any issues and you can successfully install ROMS, CWM...?

Samsung S4 (I9505) Not connecting to a mobile network after flashing new ROM)

Okay this is a very long story. I have had this old S4 in my drawer and decided to update and refresh it. I found on SamMobile that lollipop was available for it, so I downloaded that. After flashing that to my S4 the phone could not detect a sim card. I then suddenly realized I had flashed the wrong ROM. I live in Australia and I am connected to a carrier called Telstra, but instead of flashing that one I flashed a ROM meant for unlocked phones. So now I am in trouble and I need your guys help! Please help me out on this and if you need any questions to help me just ask!

No problem at all, you can download another rom, that related to your region and flash it in same way, or if you want to get the most from your device you can try a custom rom and I recommend the following for you if you want to get the best performance
- Echoerom
- Albe95 rom
-Omega Rom

No I have lost connection to my baseband and IMEI. Because I did not backup my EFS. Please help!
Did you try flashing a stock ROM for your carrier?
Try flashing the rom meant for your phone. Things might be fine.
If no..then go to the store they'll fix it for you in no time

SGH-I337M unlocking?

Hello!
To begin I would like to apologize for my english and for creating another threat for this issue (I know there are several already existing).
My issue is the following, I got a Samsung galaxy S4 (sgh-I337M) here in my country (Colombia). I payed for it but didnt try to use it with my sim when I got it (which was really dumb). The phone is locked, it is from telcel and I have been trying to unlock it for sometimes. I have followed several procedures that I feel like im able to do, and there were some that were just too complicated for me (im tech savyy but dont have enough knowledge about cellphones).
I have tried several methods using the *#0011# and I even dare to try one that involved flashing the phone (using this rom I337MTCEFNE2) because it said it would be unlocked after it (didnt work).
I would like someone to help me with the process to unlock it (even if its with a link and some help understanding the basic concepts). Im in coombia and would like to use it here in my country.
So far i would also to know if by using a custom or official rom i would be able to unlock my phone, even if its using the rom from my country (that was not the original for the phone). Also looking at the roms available for Movistar )a carrier here in my country) I found that there are only roms for Kitkat, and I would really like to have lolipop... How does it work exactly?
Thanks to anyone who can assist me with this! And again, I apologize for creating another threath, but i already search a lot.

The rom I used to flash it is running on 4.4.2. So I dont download the 2 roms that you put in that post, but the original ones for the cellphone? I think this phone was supposed to be with telcel.
There are 3 roms for that carrier:

The modem rom is for 4.2.2, is there a way to upgrade my android version after following this procedure?
Sorry if i ask a lot, is just that im not sure about how roms does exactly work and what do they affect the phone.
Thank you very much for the help!
The phone will not work with a stock 4.4.2 rom and a 4.2.2 modem. After running the region unlock app, flash the stock 4.4.2 rom again, factory wipe, and the phone should be sim unlocked.
I would flash the ne2 rom, then root, 4.2.2 modem, run region unlock, then flash the latest 5.01 rom, factory wipe, reboot, and check the phone.

Chinese model cellular not working

Hi All,
I've flashed @DrakenFX back-to-stock zip's for U variant on my Chinese one, both BootStack and StockSystem zips.
happy to confirm that everything works except the cellular network basically making this a tablet
Trying to go back to Chinese stock, the boot stack for that model has no mirrors on the download page (ZTE_A2017V1.0.0B10_BootStack_by_DrakenFX.zip)
would appreciate if anyone has the file and can re-upload it. Till then I'm stuck with absolutely no phone :crying:
Another option I'm willing to experiment with is to flash the modem so it will work nicely with the U-everything-else.
If anyone has reason to believe this will work and has the modem binary I'll go for it.
Having the U variant supported bands is a-OK by me.
I would've commented on the dev thread but as I'm a new user I'm still not allowed to
Here : ZTE_A2017V1.0.0B10_BootStack_by_DrakenFX.zip , just FYI next time you try to use a different variant Rom, you just need System.img & Boot.img (Stock System zip in this case using my files) , YOU DON'T need other variants Bootstack

Hi there.. I read somewhere that it's possible to flash the global ROM on the US model and unlock the 866mbps WiFi speed (2x2 mimo).. Is this actually possible? If so, is it possible to flash just the radio on Lineage OS and get the same effect?
