Hello everyone!
I recently got my first Android phone so im fairly new to all this.
(my phone: lg g2 d802 16gb model, rooted, stock 4.4.2)
I rooted it and froze some harmless apps(was very cautious not to freeze important ones) and everything worked fine. i downloaded some apps after i edited things(=playstore worked) the last thing i remember is change the clock widget on my lock screen(a stock widget) but i dont think this has anything to do with it eighter..
At one point i tried to download an app but the play store couldnt connect(even though i had an internet connection, rest worked just fine)
i read through the internet and tried multiple things:
-clear cache and data of the play store app + play services + service framework
-removed updates
-deleted and reinstalled it
-removed my google account(after this the app started crashing instantly probably because i froze sth thats needed to register a new google account or whatever, i dont know)
-checked my hosts file(only 127.0.0.1 localhost was in there, seems to be fine)
-made a factory reset: i really hoped this would fix it but it didnt. the app still crashes. after the factory reset i still found the supersu app on the phone(is the phone still rooted even though i did a factory reset?)
-removed my root access and did a factory reset again. additionally i logged in with a new google account so they google wouldnt use the data from my original google account(maybe there was sth that was causing it) didnt work.
Anyone has an idea what to do next? could flashing the stock rom help? whats the next step?
Thanks in advance!

Apps disappeared from the phone after a reboot, including my Google account

Hi guys, so this happened after changing the SIM card, I'm using the international N9005 variant, unlocked, running stock 5.0
About a third of my apps disappeared from both the home screen and the app drawer, including my google account in the accounts tab in the settings. Also, I keep getting the "Unfortunately, X has stopped" for a bunch of apps(Google Play Newsstand, android.process.media, S Planner, Internet, Contacts Storage, Settings). The missing apps show in the application manager with the android logo icons and take up 0.00B, they were all installed on the phones internal memory.
I did a reboot, wiped cache partition and it didn't help. I'd do a factory reset, but i can't remember the last time I've synced my data.
Any help will be appreciated, thanks.
Mate, what did occurred first?
You Factory Reset your phone and the Apps were gone?
Because that's how it works.
Also, did you tried to put back the old Sim just to check?
but then again, you Factory Reset your phone already. So, the probability to have the App's back is gone.

Big Problems after Android 10 update.

Hi guys i just updated my s10+ exynos to Android 10. After the update, alot of my apps are crashing, e.g. stock email app, gmail, google search, ebay and even the galaxy store itself.
I have cleared data and cache on one of the galaxy store app and re-launched it but im still getting same problem. I have also booted into recovery and did a wipe cache partition but still the apps are crashing. I use nova launcher prime, but i even used stock launcher and im still getting app crashes. I dont want to do a factory reset ideally.
Can anyone suggest anything or shed some light on this problem please?
I think that the only proper fix for this would be to do a factory reset. Samsung is known for buggy major updates.
Back up nova configuration uninstall then reinstall each app. See if it fixes the issues.
I had the same problem. A factory reset fixed it for me.

Youtube not loading - possibly uninstalled required app to operate

Hello
(device Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 2016)
Today i have downloaded Titanium Backup Pro and wanted to freeze knox to get rid of the annoying security notification. I had freeze some associated apps which contained "knox" in the name but did not help.
After then i uninstalled a few apps even system apps which i was sure i dont need (there was not many i have uninstalled, really i was sure i can without problem. one of them was youtube). after filtering out frozen apps i noticed that there is also system webview frozen and smart things which i am sure i did not freeze. i believe that titanium backup was bugged. I tried to defrost but it kept remaining frozen. so unfreeze does not work
I dont know if this caused issues with youtube vanced but before i could watch youtube vanced but now it was loading forever right after opening.
I decided to perform factory reset but not through system settings but booting into twrp recovery and ticking dalvik, data, cache and internal storage. After factory reset i realized that the previously uninstalled (debloated) apps through titanium backup arent restored back. I have read on the forum that by performing factory reset the uninstaled aps should be back. but they are not. why? even installing through adb back it gives "package installed" in the adb terminal but the app is nowhere.
And after clean reset and installing youtube from google play it keeps loading. I see only the bottom menu (Home, exlore, subscriptions, library), at upper part search bar and i can enter settings but the screen is white and is circling/loading forever.
I am afraid that i had accidentally uninstalled some important app through the bugged titanium backup and after factory reset i did not get it back so i cannot browse youtube and even youtube vanced (any of them)
What do they have in common?
(i have tried to reinstall back google packages all at once through newest adb and fastboot toolkit, it gave message "package installed to user 0" but nothing seems to happen on my tablet)
Please recommend me some solutions to solve my issue.
Thank you
