I just got my broken charger replaced so I haven't really been following development. Which ICS rom is best developed and gives the best performance and experience?
Hi guys, i'm using this phone for a while and the longer i use it, the more i like it! After a while my stock rom became a bit laggy so i decided to use some custom roms, but wich to chose? I like stock based rooms for their stability and UI. At the moment i use "Ultimate stock v9" and i'm realy happy. It works almost perfect but it has one issue wich is critical for me: when recording video on UHD, 120fps or even 60fps the video is verry dark. Do you have some suggestions on stock based roms or something simillar? Battery life is important to.
P.s. Sorry for mistakes, i'm not an american or something like that
I'm a fan of CyanogenMod myself, but I can't comment as to how it works with your variant of the phone (D802). I know there are issues with the latest version and the VS980 variant I have.
Have you tried any of the other debloated stock ROMs? Why do you prefer "Ultimate stock v9" over them?
I dobt know why i chosed it, but its better than pure stock Allsow i dont kbow if i have right firmware bcs yesteryday i had to unbrick my phone Is there any way to check what firmware is suited for your phone? Well i just need stable and reliable room with no bugs bscs i dont want to change rooms every week.
I find very stabile the cloudyflex 2.6 . Also the cloudyg3 is a very good ROM with a nice battery usage (the stock drains more battery then the cloudyg3). Now i'm trying the enhdroix, which is cm based, i like the UI and the smoothness but it drains battery as hell. An other good choice could be liquid rom, i liked very much
cloudy g3 rom is very smooth and fast. I use it for few day and its really works great! I use some mods like g3 tweaksbox and it I love it. the best rom at this time!
I'm currently using crdroid but it feels a little unresponsive compared to stock. Was wondering what ROMs have the best combination of performance and features for this device?
I also have t230nu running Acheron, but I'll be honest - it has run like crap on all ROMs I have tried including stock, even with the over clock flash, which is why I got the 530.
Currently on a Standard Rooted Touchwiz 6.0.1 Port Rom (basically S5 rom, very stable and s pen and everything works.).
I was wondering if there is any other rom that is great/better for gaming and general usage. I don't mind touchwiz or pure android...
I think for more performance without tweaking the kernel much, your best choice would be going for AOSP ROMs like RRN or LineageOS. Stock Android ROMs tend to offer much more performance (at the cost of battery especially while gaming) with stock settings. Both of the two mentioned ROMs are stable enough for general usage (I've used both of them for weeks and months and had no issues whatsoever).
If you want to stay with a TouchWiz based ROM, best choices (but not limited to these only) would be MagMa NX ROM, Aspire ROM along with the Phantom kernel. Phantom kernel at it's new releases offer great stability and best combination of battery life and performance.
My advice would be this: Try each one of them out. Trying period should last at least 2 days so that the ROM and kernel can settle down. Then you should be able to decide which one suits your needs best
All the best in experimenting!

I do prefer Aspire ROM with tweaked gugu0Das kernel, maybe it's not that stable as not tweaked one, but offers the best performance. For example AspireROM+gugu0dasTW + Real Racing 3 on High works perfect.
But if you want something more stable, then do like @grumpycoder100 said, that would be the best choice then.
And do try each one of them, because it depends from you which one will have the best performance in your opinion.
Best regards!
good morning. i tried 3 roms stock based but the lags are always present. according to experiences, have i to stop search because is impossible having a phone without lags like the s9 or can i find a rom for my phone with better performance?
every suggest?
thanks
Solution: Get rid od the Samsung and buy OnePlus or Pixel phone, if you want phone without lag. Samsung still has to much bloatware and behind running programs.
