Hello. Because LeEco released 2017's version of our phone on Marshmallow, we shouldn't expect Nougat soon. Witch one custom ROMs are as good and stable as stock, but debloated and lasts longer on battery? Any pro tips and good guides for first time rooting? Should i make sth like TWRP image? x720, looking for Nougat ROM. How to not void warranty?

Thank you,
From what I see there will be 2 phones, the Le Pro 3 2017 (snapdragon 835) and the Le Pro 3 AI(mediatek). One article says they will come with nougat, the other says with MM. We better wait for an official statement/release instead of speculate with leaks.
It's official. If you dont belive, look there;
http://cn.lemall.com/cn/sale/sjxp411.html?ref=m:index:227
Next you should go there;
http://www.lemall.com/product/products-pid-GWGMS30056-n-9940.html
And the second tab is specification. In Chinese version of website, you can see "EUI5.9(基于Android6.0)". So, still Marshmallow. If you want more about it, please use translators like Google's.
Then you should have shared those links first.
Anyway, I dont think this is a "new" Le Pro3, just an updated Pro 3, maybe we will see a Le Pro 4 later this year running Nougat out of the box and OTA for Le Pro 3, S3 and Le Pro 3 AI

And for your question, there will be no Nougat rom as stable as stock rom, and do not even think about getting the same battery life. If you want to try any of the great roms we have go to the Roms section of the forums, there are some guides to unclock bootloader (doing it will void your warranty), and falshing guides. Good luck.
Umh, I heard about locking bootloader, to return warranty. And my battery life now is like 3-4h SOT in 1-2 days of soft usage (definitely have to reinstal ROM). Custom ROMs, witch is tested by community can develop faster.
For me, I tested 99.99% of the Nougat based ROMs and the maximum of SOT I got is 5H with moderate usage. As for stock based ROMs, they allow me to arrive at 9H max of SOT with moderate use (gaming, movies, whatsapp, messenger, ...).
There is no doubt : stock based ROMs are better in autonomy than all the others...
So, on Nougat, I'll get .. 2h SOT? On 14 nm, 1080p and 4070 mAh? Umh... Joke?
Stock 5.8.21s gives about 6-8 hours SOT under heavy usage and has the best sustained performance.
I am just using these tools (Power Toggles, Fingerprint Quick Action, AcDisplay and Simple Control) to mimic stock Android experience plus Android Pay of course.
Multi-window support is of course missing. =D

23s gave me few hour longer SOT. As I had thought, it was bug. In my country (at Polish forums) everybody say, that stock EUI is really bad and it is basis to get custom ROM. But the most votes are on Stock. It is weird, isn't is?

Edit
Which is The Best Kernel For you with Oxygen OS or OOS Based Rom's For Best Battery Life and Performance Balance?
I used FrancoKernel But I Don't know why I am Getting only around 3.5 Hours of SOT When others are getting 10Hours
In the Stock Kernel and OxygenOS I am Getting Around 4 to 4.30 Hours of SOT
well bud, you should know how to use a smartphone. there is no way on the earth that OP5 lasts about 3hours. No offend, you should consider switch to iPhone. Android is a different thing. you should know how to get rid of wakelock, what consumes the battery the most, or what keeping your phone awake etc. No kernel or rom can help you.
Stock, don't be fooled, there is no kernel that give you extra hours of battery life or rocket speed.. that's just placebo or bored users that they need to flash something.
Oneplus 5 is quick enough, apps opening instantly, to where you want to push it more?
Even if you find some way how you throttle down performance to gain couple of minutes on battery where is the point, when on the end you put
your phone on charger that in couple of minutes give you power for another day?
just enjoy the phone..that's my opinion

I Got your Point,Thank You for the Information
I Just Switched From Iphone 5S Maybe That's Why i have Devoleped this Laziness to Not to Look into Advanced things,I will Research more
I Used to Use Android in 4.0
There is something else that is draining your battery, such as an app, it's not the kernel
I flashed a lot on my elephone p9000. No need to on op5 stock experience is perfect
SimpleGX has very good feedback regarding battery saving and stock performance.
I'm currently giving it a try but it's early for me to comment properly.

What a negative bunch of responses.. I use franco, naptime and get 5hrs plus SoT easily.
You don't need to be a power user to have android. Stock is fine, but modded is better (this is xda after all).
Fresh install latest OOS, keep installed apps to a reasonable amount (which do you -actually use-?)
And then... Use. If you are a business user, expect less SoT. If you only watch YouTube on wifi, expect longer SoT.
You go and most importantly, explore! OP5 is a wonderful phone!

This or stock. I've tried all the other kernels (with a friend who also has a OnePlus 5). Stock beats everything else in terms of battery by at least an hour of SOT in daily usage, more if you use the whole battery in one sitting. Nobody seems to have a straight answer as to why this is. Simple gx stays close enough to stock that battery life is pretty much identical to stock. I have no idea why battery on Boeffla, blu_sparks, elemental x, Franco, etc isn't as good as stock, doesn't make any sense to me. Same results on 2 different phones, but ymmv I guess?
Hello,
I am wondering if I am the only one to get between 3 and 4 hours of screen on time for one charge ? I'm using my original battery of 2800 mA (almost 4 years old now).
How much are you getting guys ?
I have nemesis reborn v4 ROM with phoenix kernel v13 but I got a similar battery life with the stock MM ROM.

What kind of usage did you have with the phone to get such a screen of time (I mean 6 and a half) ?
I believe if I get less than 4 hours is that my battery is too old...

I was surfing on internet and using messenger on wifi.
I'm running Xtreme Dynamic Kat (4.4.2) with every battery improvement I can think of (Xposed Amplify etc). Light social media use with some email, chrome, and less than an hour of Spotify, and I get at best 4 hours SoT. It usually would project out to about 3:15 hrs. on most days I would guess.
My "android system" and "screen" usage typically have about the same percentage at the end of the day. I try to keep my screen dimmed and use as many dark themes as possible. It blows my mind these people who say they can get 5 hours or more. I can't imagine what that's like or how to get there. Makes me want to get a new phone
Here is what I get with nemesis reborn v4 with phoenix kernel (the battery life looks the same on stock MM ROM).
I'm trying also to understand how some people are getting more than 6 hours ! I have greenify + amplify + xposed 87.1 flashed on my ROM.
And without all these kind of stuff, I have less than 4 hours anyway...
Maybe some ROMS like lineage or cyanogenmod helps.
For the health of the battery, some applications like ampere meter or Ampère says that my battery health is good.

You seem to have the same battery life as me but I'm running marshmallow 6.0.1 with nemesis reborn v4. My android system use to consume 8% of my battery per a charge and my screen 26%.
I can only say that your android system doesn't seem very normal. For this problem, try to boot into recovery mode and swipe cache and make a factory reset. I saw that this method helped some people.

Which ROM?
Just thought I'd provide an update. Still running Xtreme Dynamic Kat 4.4.2 on my G900A. Replaced the battery with a OEM style 2800mAh one from Anker and it has given me about 50-80% more screen on time and overall battery life. It seriously has made a difference compared to my original 2.5 year old OEM battery. I still get high Android System usage, however I believe that is directly correlated to my use patterns (lots of Spotify streaming and Hulu casting with the screen off). If I stick to web based activities I can get 6 hours of screen on time now. Incredible!

Hey fellow S5ers I don't really take notes of how many hours of SOT I get per day but I'm sure that I can get double that or even more if I turn off 4G and WiFi. Not to mention that my battery is already 1+ years old so if i change it I'd get a lot more. Try to live without any kind of Internet for one day and you'll see insane numbers Just having the Internet switched on without even using it drains too much battery but i can't live offline xd
It's amazing how much we actually use our phones in a given day, especially when we watch "videos"! Rate this thread to express how many hours of screen-on time you can get on the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S before depleting the battery.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!
With the latest EU rom (8.4.12), I got around 8.5 hours to do the web surfing through wifi (no video, audio) with the auto brightness about 50%.
Hope it helps.
I lost about 1% battery for every 5.3-5.6 minutes to be precised.

Hi, anyone using the global edition, where the unit is not pre-flashed by vendors? just wondering how the battery life is compared to the mix 2, oneplus 6 and p20 pro.
GSM arena currently shows the mix 2s as having really bad battery endurance. but im assuming that was the china rom. Anyone can validate?
You seen the screenshots above your post?
First cycle.. very good. hopefully it will be better. Coming from huawei mate 10 to oneplus 5t to mi mix 2s. Love ips lcd display.

I don't game much, the heaviest use i gave it was the camera. No NFC, bluetooth or gps. Just regular use, like 2 to 3 hours of YouTube, Facebook, watching movie or anime and lots of web browsing get me 8 hours at least on every charge.
Hi, I've had my Mi Mix 2s for a couple months now. I have the 256gb variant, still rocking the chinese rom. Max screen on time I get with the phone is 3 and a half/ 4 hours.
Judging from other people's reviews thats much lower than average. So I'm wondering if anyone has any tips to try improve it? Does the global rom help improve it?
I'm with Global rom miui 10 beta and battery is bad I get max 5h of use and even before with miui 9 it was not great also. Great phone all good except the battery at least for me coming from OnePlus 5 and 5t.
How is the battery lately, in the most recent updates?

global version 10.2.2.0 - mixed with data.
I'm on 10.2.2 global. Getting around 5.5 hours sot and 23 hours standby with 90% wifi.
Hello guys, here are my results if anyone needs it.
Getting 7 hours of screen on time (13 hours since removed from charger) comfortably with moderate usage, no games, mostly browsing, some YouTube and social apps and making some pictures.
It was 6 hours of mobile data (part of it in metro with bad coverage) and the rest is with wifi.
It seems to be sufficient for a whole days use.
I am satisfied with it.

No they're essentially the same but weekly has risks of unknown newly introduced bugs. Don't upgrade every week then. I use weekly because at the time I want the latest features and I update like once in a year when there are features that I want to have.
