Hello everybody, I spent the whole week trying to find a solution to my problem but no luck.
Here is my problem:
I have a FRP Samsung Galaxy S8 SM-G950F with Android 8.0 and, when trying to connect it to Odin on the PC, it doesn't recognize it. I've installed the universal Samsung drivers, the ADB drivers but nothing happens. I use its original USB-C cable as advised but still no sign of life.
I cannot check the USB Debugging in the Developer Settings because it's locked.
What can I do?
Thank you, Ariel.

Then it's either a dirty usb port or a broken usb port.

Hello! I have a Galaxy (sm-G531F) which was bought sec-hand. I did a factory reset to clean it but then it asked for previous user email. I tried to unlock it with Z3X but then i realize that the device was not recognized by PC. I tried almost everything to make it work but i don't know what else to do. I tried windows troubleshooting, reinstalling drivers and updating drivers. When the device is connected, the windows sees that there is a device but shows up message (unknown device connected). If there is anything that can help me solving this i'll be happy to hear it. Thnx!
Good afternoon,
I am trying to root my Galaxy s7 edge: G935F or my Galaxy tab A 2016: T580 with odin, but both aren't being recognized by my Windows 10 computer. They do charge but don't seem to recognize my computer either. However my computer does recognize my Galaxy s5 neo and my Galaxy A5 2017. I've searched a lot and tried everything i found.
Which involves:
Different computers, ports, cables; and I consistantly get te same error.
Original cable
manualy install drivers, removing all usb drivers and reboot computer.
factory reset
Enabling developer options, usb debugging and usb configuration is set to Media Transfer Protocol.
I switched off selective usb interruption in my computers power management and dissabled quick boot.
Are there other things I could try, to make the computer recognize my S7 edge or Tab 2016. The only thing I could find, is that the ports of the devices itself are broken. Since both devices behave and charge normally I doubt this really is the case.
Since my main goal is to get one of the two rooted, maybe someone knows a way to do this without the use of a usb connection. I geuss one-click root methods don't work on these devices and I wasn't able to find something trough micro sd or a wireless option.
Thank you in advance

Hi there, installation of samsung usb drivers is easy. Please remove existing installation files on pc and install from provided link while the device connected to the pc during install and good internet. You should have no problem. I've done it on several machines

Thanks for your response. I've already tried that several times. Just to be totaly sure i've tried it again with the link you've provided and sadly it didn't work. The thing is that the samsung a5 2017 and the samsung s5 neo, do connect. But the samsung s7 edge doesn't. Not even on a different computer, with Win 7. Just now I did a factory reset, again. And also tried to boot in safe mode. But it just doesn't work. Do you have other idea's?

It's not your computer obviously. Maybe the cable port on the s7e is broken or something. Or the drivers aren't getting properly installed on the machine. The com port used by odin doesn't require drivers to be installed separately for each device. So if other devices get recognized by Odin, it clearly means that your s7e requires some hardware replacement. You may try connecting another device of the same model
I have the same problem before. My s7 doesnt work fast charge and pc dont recognize and my phone charging 6 hours. Windows gives yellow error and doesnt recognize my phone. I try different cable and pc but doesnt work. I change my motherboard and it works

Hi everyone,
I am having a sm-p350 for my family and it suddenly cannot turn on.
It just stuck at samsung logo.
I am sorry that I am brand new to samsung tablets.
I found that the most common solution is to reset using Odin.
However, when I got into "Downloading... Do not turn off target" screen, my Odin just cannot detect even I installed the samsung driver on my pc.
Is it because I did not turn usb debugging on before?
Is there anyway to reset my tablet? The tablet is basically un-rooted and completely un-modifiied. It was just used for casual news browsing before.
Thank you!

No, USB debugging does not need to be on to use Odin. Did you unplug your device while installing the driver? Did you get the driver from here? https://developer.samsung.com/mobile/android-usb-driver.html
If so do you have the latest version of Odin from here? https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/patched-odin-3-13-1-t3762572
I rooted my phone a few years ago, I was playing around in the developer options a few days ago and accidently turned off USB Debugging.
My phone has FRP lock on and OEM lock on. I can not turn the phone on due to the custom binary blocked by FRP lock, I can only go into the download mode.
Ive been to every single google post to try and fix this and i cant find anything that helps me. My phone wont connect to odin (ive downloaded the drivers, tried different cables in different ports, still nothing) so I cant flash the device or do anything to it.
Hope you guys can help me with this issue, im developing a big headache trying to fix this stupid mistake I have made.
GOOGLE FOR A SUITABLE FRP-UNLOCK TOOL. It exists for Samsung devices, too.
Thank you for the reply, my computer wont detect my phone. I have tried samsung smart switch (wont detect). I've tried reinstalling the drivers and even tried to connect it to another computer and it doesnt do anything.
