I rooted my phone a few years ago, I was playing around in the developer options a few days ago and accidently turned off USB Debugging.
My phone has FRP lock on and OEM lock on. I can not turn the phone on due to the custom binary blocked by FRP lock, I can only go into the download mode.
Ive been to every single google post to try and fix this and i cant find anything that helps me. My phone wont connect to odin (ive downloaded the drivers, tried different cables in different ports, still nothing) so I cant flash the device or do anything to it.
Hope you guys can help me with this issue, im developing a big headache trying to fix this stupid mistake I have made.
GOOGLE FOR A SUITABLE FRP-UNLOCK TOOL. It exists for Samsung devices, too.
Thank you for the reply, my computer wont detect my phone. I have tried samsung smart switch (wont detect). I've tried reinstalling the drivers and even tried to connect it to another computer and it doesnt do anything.

Hi, thanks in advance for helping.
This is the situation.
I want to backup as much as possible items from my phone since it's broken, but:
- The screen is broken
- Device is locked
- USB debugging is DISabled.
I already searched a lot and tried the cmd adb commands to unlock it, but since usb debugging is disabled my device is not found..
I also tried to unlock my device using findmymobile, but somehow it won't unlock it.
I am now able to get Kies to recognize my phone (using recovery mode) and Kies of course noticed my device is locked.
Before I go to the store and buy that OTG cable, I was wondering if there is any way to change the registry of Kies and trick it into thinking my device is not locked. Sorry if this is a really weird question to ask.
OR is there any other way I can unlock my phone from my laptop? I know the pin code, so that is not the problem.
Thanks in advance.
I have google this for hours with nothing! I connect my Nexus 6P to my PC and it doesn't recognize it and not only that but the usb connection options doesn't show up on the phone either. I am completely lost!
I have installed the drivers multiple times, i have looked up the mtp inf drivers and nothing happens. When I connect it to the computer it only says chaging on the lockscreen thats it! I have no idea how to fix this. I am trying to go back to stock because i lost root flashing a custom nougat build. everything works except twpt won't boot up anymore and just hangs at the splash screen. and of course I don't have root. can anyone please help me! thanks

Have you tried a different cord? If its not the cord the inspect the port on your phone to make sure no lint or crud is physically blocking some pins. Do you have developer options enabled? Maybe something got changed in there. Its never happened to me so these are just guesses. Maybe somebody smarter can help.

Mine gives a notification that the phone is charging when I connect to computer but if I click the notification it gives me the option to transfer files instead. You do have USB Debugging enabled on the Developers Menu, correct?
Hello guys
I have the same problem on my phone i tried everything i found on google and other forums, and the last option that i couldn't do is to send my phone to replace the usb port, but i have no warranty as i bought it already used. It's a shame that no one can find a solution here especially that the other forums at least tried to fix for some people but not here on xda which is the first in the world.

I've even changed my USB port and daughterboard twice. I am stumped. I got 3 laptops 2 running 10 and one running Ubuntu and mAid along with a tower running xp. I fix unfixable phones and resell them. I've tried EVERYTHING. I know this is an old thread but Any help would be appreciated.
Hello everybody, I spent the whole week trying to find a solution to my problem but no luck.
Here is my problem:
I have a FRP Samsung Galaxy S8 SM-G950F with Android 8.0 and, when trying to connect it to Odin on the PC, it doesn't recognize it. I've installed the universal Samsung drivers, the ADB drivers but nothing happens. I use its original USB-C cable as advised but still no sign of life.
I cannot check the USB Debugging in the Developer Settings because it's locked.
What can I do?
Thank you, Ariel.

There are many many threads on this on xda as well as google...This is one of those things many will not help on due to possible thievery
Locked myself out my phone via Pin Lock I just want my photos, videos, and music. My USB Debugging mode is not enabled. I tried through a command prompt to enable it but device is not found. TWRP doesn't support the model and Dr. Fone doesn't either. I have spent weeks trying everything from find my phone to flashing TWRP through Odin can someone help?
So yesterday I tried installing the bancontact app and it said that i needed to disable developer options so i did,
this also disabled my OEM unlock what i didn't know.
This night i went to sleep and plugged in my phone and the charger became incredibly hot so i unplugged my phone and it went empty.
This morning I try to start my phone and get a message that my custom binary is blocked by FRP lock so i start my pc and start Odin.
But the problem is my pc sees that a device is plugged in but it gives an error message that says "USB-Device is not recognized" so i tried to install the Samsung USB drivers which didn't help.
The device is listed in device manager as an "unrecognized USB Device"'
Now I'm starting to think that my port is burned out but it's strange because the phone does charge and does pop on when i plug it in the charger.
I tried different USB ports, different cables, different drivers and different PCs, nothing worked.
I tried searching for drivers to install manually but didn't find them
Can someone please help me?
Thanks in advance

Okay so now I tried one more time with a broken USB cable (it disconnects when i move a bit) and this one worked for some reason so my problem is resolved.
