Hi,
could you tell me a 8.1 custom rom where you're able to suppress your caller ID ? I flashed myself to nearly every custom rom but it doesn't work on any of them. Doesn't matter if it's Los or AOSP based and it doesn't matter which phone app I'm using.
If I try to select the option I got a network and Sim card error
message. On April stock it is working as it should be.
Thanks

hi,
i have a dual sim adapter and i can change sim with the icon that usually is assigned to operator services. it worked with stock rom, but i can't change sim with CM 6.1. it recognize only the first sim.
could be a kernel problem?
This might be the wrong section to post it,...
Have you tried both kernels?? (2.29 and 2.32 ??)
no, i didn't change kernel, but i read that is a common cm problem for all the devices, so i decided to write here.
can i try with stock kernel by blayo?
Try posting in Cyanogen Mod forums, you will probably have better luck there
Last time i was in CM6.1, RC1?
The phone didn't even knew it's own number and it couldn't read/write SIM contacts nor messages.
[edit, wrong post]
ok, i tried both cm and blayo 2.32 kernels, but with no results.
you think the only way is install blayo's froyo rom?
Hey, this is my first post, but I am having serious issues with my Galaxy Y, whenever I try flash a kernel or rom, upon reboot, I loose my IMEI and cannot make or recieve calls, texts etc, this is all restored using ODIN and going back to stock rom but I would like to know how to solve the problem so I could use a custom rom and kernel.
At moment I have Hyperion installed with savie kernel.
I have searched along the forums, but the only solution I can find is going back to stock rom, surely there is a work around.
Thankyou in advance
EDIT : Whenever I do flash stock rom (S5360_XXKL3_OXXKL1_XXKL3) I have to set my country and provider to get signal, however I can not do this on custom rom
Hi guys,
I have I9500 and whenever I install MIUI or any CM based rom, I am not able to send text messages but I can receive them
I can make and receive calls fine
I have made sure that the messages centre number is correct however the problem persists
when I use an official firmware based rom it works fine however on miui and all cm roms i always get message not sent immediately.

Hello. Been wondering, what are the necessary prerequisites to get WiFi Calling working on a custom or open EU rom?? Is it only dependant of the /system or maybe do i need to flash modem.zip from a branded ROM that has WiFi Calling enabled? I'm on Fulmics 1.6 which is based on V10T open eu rom and i notticed that in hidden menu, i get a "not supported" message whenever i tap on IMS Settings in Field Test submenu of h870 hidden menu. Now what is necessary to enable IMS Support? Modem file? Tweaks in the system itself? Maybe some additional apk files from a rom that supports WiFi Calling? Help please ...
Back on my Sprint g3, never could get WiFi calling to work on custom roms, some stock based custom roms it would work, others it wouldn't. I'm sure it has to be stock based. Customs roms are missing a lot of necessary files to allow WiFi calling.
sent from my LG G6
Never mind guys... I've managed to enable and activate it oN Fulmics ROM 1.6 V10T GLOBAL-COM based. I will make a thread with a step by step guide of how to do it on stock based roms, maybe custom roms as well, will need testing . Anyways... Please close this thread .
Where is your thread to enable wifi calling??? I need that function due to my location. Thanks!
I'm not @MrBeen, but check this link https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3667841
I remember seeing the VoLTE sign on the status bar the first week I owned this phone when I was running MiUI 10. After I unlocked the bootloader and installed custom roms, I have not been able to see it or activate it. I tried installing VoEnabler via Magisk but it is said to not work and certainly didn't work for me too.
Is there an obvious way to do it on custom roms? is it even possible?
