Will Galaxy S be able to run Sailfish? Also is if it does is there port for it yet?
Once they release the image compatible with ARM processor's it should be possible to port them to most devices. Would love to get my hands on such an image so I can start building. Can't wait!

it will be no factory images for Jolla phone
Delete this thread. If you don't every joe blow will see it as a green light to make another "port for my unimportant phone" thread. That's fine if there are actually many ports out there but at this time it is just noise.

Hi, I saw that Oxygen Os is now open source. I would like to know if finally the camera and fongerprint source are now open? For example is possible to use these now on aosp/caf roms? In order to make the camera quality same as stock in the customs roms?

I know that the camera source was closed, and the camera in custom rom has not the same quality of stock rom. If they released the camera source, now also the custom rom should have a good camera quality! I would like confirmation. The camera source was released or not?

Oh yeah I see. Well, I don't know about it, as, yes, OnePlus release sources, but they still uses proprietary drivers / blobs for their camera: I don't know if those blobs are in the sources.
NO.1 smartwatch going to release NO.1 D5+ smartwatch now, they release a compare video about d5 and d5+, we find out that D5+ is android 5.1, 1+8gb memory, quad core cpu, highest specs in smartwatch!
Very nice but you should not make ridiculous claims like "highest specs in smartwatch"
It really doesn't help the reputation of your thread..... Just saying.
And don't get me wrong - I am a very big fan of these watches as you probably know from the original D5 thread.....

Yes - unfortunately easily done - the thread owner should rename it really..
When it is released we will open a proper development thread for it.
We are working directly with No1 and it is going to be a while before it is actually released - they are just forecasting on their website.
It's nice for customers to know it's coming - but it will be a while yet.
Cheers

I am also interested in that new model. From video I think I spot that D5+ has barometer and gyroscope sensor. Is that true if you know? If that model have that 2 sensors it will be very interesting for outdoor activities if it also have some type of waterproof protection. I am very interested to try to use this watch for hiking navigation maybe with some apps like LocusMap or Oruxmaps.
It should have those sensors but cannot confirm barometer sensor yet
Sent from my HTC 2PS6200 using XDA-Developers mobile app
Found site that says its in stock. Could it be real?
I just did a google search and found this site saying they have the new d5+ in stock, but it seems to be the only place. Could it be they got it early? I'd like to order, and they do have the paypal option so I guess its protected but I'm hesitant. Anybody here use this service before, or know if this looks legit?

They do not want to send us the three samples anymore to support it.
Sorry about that. It's a shame

Nougat was still available for Nexus 6 I believe, which is where 32bit sources came from. There won't be O on the Nexus 6.
Maybe a dumb question. If there will be no 32-bit versions, then what is the "O Developer Preview emulator system image (32-bit & 64-bit)", part of the Android Studio 2.4 "Canary" available at developers.android.com?

Yes, right now some 32/64 bit switches are activated at compile time but when the sources are for 64 bit only those switches are not present, therefore you have to adapt all the sources manually.
I'm not talking about blobs but plain code.

As long as sources are plain code, it's possible to recompile for any architecture. It's not possible to use 64-bit blobs with 32-bit compilation, but with plain code I see no reason to drop Lineage for 32-bit devices.
But who knows, maybe this is too much effort. I hope we wil see O for bacon.

Agree. But as you pointed out earlier, what about gapps, which are not open source? If O requires its own version then there won't be play services, play store, Gmail, inbox, maps and so on...

Damn... you may be right. 32-bit support won't be there for Google Play Services. This is very bad news.
Let's wait for Android emulators for developers. We'll see if arm32 system images for O will be there. If so, there is a hope. Just checked, there are no any O images available for download in my Android Studio sdk manager yet. They should be available soon.

Please don't laugh too hard as I am still learning but what advantage will rooting your TV be ? Yes , that is an honest question cuz I just bought a Hisense 70" android tv with google Chromecast yad yada . The 1 thing I have noticed is it persistently tells me to delete apps , memory is low. I know theres a way to use a usb stick to increase the memory but how do you even do that? BTW, great tv for $400. Can't beat it.
