Emulation runs perfect, controls are on point.
ONLY issue is there is a weird popping / distortion on every gamecube game. So much so that the distortion carries over to all other apps unless dolphin is closed from the active apps screen (double tapping the circle button)
ANY suggestions?

Just got a new treo pro, but I experience a mild discomfort with the windows media player. When its playing and I have a screen saver active, it lags on regular intervals. By lagging I mean the sound just stops for a fraction of a second every like 30 seconds. This is extremely annoying. Anybody else having this issue.
BTW, the problem happens also when an alarm goes off and keeps on playing for like 1 minute. Even though, I assume it uses the same sound engine/codec.
thnx
it's the screensaver updating the time. try disabling it and you should be fine.
I'm just experencing the same thing on my treo pro. It's strange that Palm didn't make it work to have both screensaver and play music. You have to disable the screensaver or have the screen on while you play your music!?
hope Palm will fix that in an update!?
Use Pocket Tunes, it prevents the screensaver to start automatically.
i just use s2p, by a_c. its a great piece of sotware and makes listening to music so much better. almost never lags on me. =]
p.s. it is freeware and has an i-phone like interface. good luck, but the default wmp is horrible once you try s2p =]
don't know if this has been discussed before (every time i searched for driver issues kept coming up with USB connection results, nothing on video)
Anyways I remember on my Kaiser/At&t Tilt a few years a go their was a big issue with video performance and it turned out HTC "forgot" to include the video drivers.
since then i went over to a Touch Diamond and never really had any issues with that
Now than i'm on Android and using the magic.. i'm noticing similar things to my Kaiser/Tilt (mainly when playing games)
I noticed it when playing mario through Snesoid, evertime i touch the on screen Dpad the game gets Choppy and audio starts to clip quite noticeably. where if i use the track ball everything stays silky smooth.
i've noticed similar things to the quality of scrolling in numerous apps. when my thumb is pressed down it scrolls fairly choppy, but when i let go and it "flicks" the menu the scrolling gets noticeably smoother. (obviously you won't really notice this on menu's that have text but in browsers and such its an issue)
So i'm just wondering if anyone can confirm if the drivers are there and maybe its a problem with android being so new, or not utilizing them properly
or if HTC is just back to their old ways of creating crap that just doesn't work properly.
I'll mention my diamond never had any issues with video performance or emulators or slow down when touching the screen in any application as HTC had to include video drivers because otherwise they wouldn't be able to run touchflo 3D.
Anyone else having problems with the volume when the phone is in the HD Dock? The volume will be fine one second, and then become almost inaudible the next. It mainly happens when I'm playing back music on the android interface while browsing with firefox.
Why when notification comes or even playing music games video etc I heard Sound like crackling?
Glad I'm the only one who noticed this too, I'm playing some rhythm games on this phone (in case you're wondering, it's Bang! Dream or Bandori) and sometimes there's a crackling sound coming from the speaker whenever I tap the notes (and it's making the tapping sound effect, aside from the music in the background). On top of that, sound effects from the tapping seemingly can't play while other sound effects (the song itself) play. This means that fast streams in songs pretty much always have note sounds missing and this really throws me off when I play, as I play with the sounds as an assistance in a way (which means getting full combo is a no go). The only way to temporarily fix it is by restarting the phone entirely and then the game works properly once - if you play it and then close the game and reopen it, the bug continues. Another way I recently found is just to keep playing longer, as in around 10 minutes and beyond and it gradually fix itself as in calibrating the sounds, however strange that sounds.
The problem is whether on hardware or software?

I have also faced similar issue except I played CGSS when encounter this issue
I'm using Mi 9T global for over half a year now. I've noticed that when I'm listening to music in the background (using BlackPlayer EX, but also happens with stock music player), while playing games added to Game Turbo, sound quality drops drastically. Happens only when I'm using main speaker, or wired headphones. Never with Bluetooth headphones. Checked settings of game turbo and black player but didn't found anything what would help. Same thing with system sound settings. Anyone have same problem, or is it something on my side? I can record a video as a proof
same thing happens with me but don't worry it's just an optimization done by MIUI... Maybe they disable sound enhancement ? who knows!!
Anyway..if that disturbs you you can remove the game from game turbo list especially those light game that don't require game turbo so you can enjoy your music
