Simplest method for rooting Galaxy Grand Tested on Stock 4.1 Rom

Guys. I found this working.. This is a simplest way to root Galaxy Grand and get Supersu.. Tested working on 4.1..
To root download towel root
https://towelroot.com
Connect to Internet.. One click root.
Then install supersu from
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.chainfire.supersu

Don't know why, but I always prefer to use Odin to flash recovery and then root manually from here.

Well.. By This method is easy to root and no need to use pc

Bro, this is not working in my Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos.

this is normal
Towelroot is using an exploit to gain root access
Exploits are picked up as a security risk

Its not a virus.. It install some script to gain root access.. So it is detected as malicious app by kaspersky

a500w root options?

This phone came out recently in Canada, are there any ways to root the a500w version yet?

I just bought one and it's disappointing to know there isn't any root solutions. Fido adds tons of bloatware.
I'm sure someone is going to release a method at some point, though. In the meantime do other models images work?

Recently released? It's been out since Nov 2014.
For root just install twrp then flash supersu v2.65.

unless I missed something, I wasn't rooted after successfully flashing and rebooting with Twerp 3.0.0. I had to use the kingroot Apk.
I am now rooted, but supersu 2.65 won'f Install . . .

I'd then use Super Su Me (from Play store) to remove King Root (too many permisions for my liking) and instal Super SU - it is a paid for app, but worth it.

Hi guys, i tryed to root my a5 2016 with mm method but the camera and display mode doesn t work.. any way to root without issues? Thanks ?

I used to be like this and fix the error as follows:
Download magisk v12 and install it via TWRP as root and do not experience any errors!

Do i have to install super su before it ? Cuz i installed magisk only with out super su and didn't work untill i installed super su but camera and screen modes still not working

Same question. Updater process ended with ERROR: 1 when flashing Magisk v12.0.

No magisk pls. Supersu is better and magisk made my phone's CPU be full mhz.. download TWRP and then go to supersu . com to download supersu v2.82 zip and flash.

SuperSU was awesome before, but now hear this, since the owner of SuperSU is chainfire, and chainfire has been bought by some company recently, and the company that bought chainfire is super shady, they claim they are from US but they are not so the whole thing is shady.
So yeah i guess it is better to have magisk which is little bit heavier than to be at risk of some foreign company stealing ur data.

Because i don't know how to flash magisk and I prefer super su root
