Anyone can tell me if it´s posible to root with this tool?
Why even use SuperSU at this point? What does it have that Magisk doesn't?

Like traditional root? I don't know of much need for that anymore unless an app has not been updated for system-less. But anyways, I have tried this so I know it works.
1. Download SuperSU 2.62-3 and SuperSU 2.52
2. Flash version 2.62-3 and reboot.
3. Do a full unroot in the SuperSU app.
4. Flash version 2.52. Now you have traditional root.

if I got you right, You are saying that first I have to root systemless(2.62) then sytem mode (2.54) ?

That's the only way I have got it to work. Flashing system-less patches the boot.img allowing you to do traditional root with 2.52. You could patch the boot.img yourself and flash 2.52, but I don't know what all the edits are.

doesn't work as i already said in the op of my thread!
by the way, magisk, which I used to get root, is a way of systemless root and uses chainfire's supersu as its basis (if I'm not mistaken)
This root method is outdated. You can use this new method. So what this method does is installing latest Magisk. It comes up with it own root method called MagiskSU. So you don't need to install any superSU.
New methods
Installation steps:
Download latest magisk zip link
Flash it with twrp
Install magisk from play store. link
Done!

Old methods
In this thread I will explain to you how to install phh's superSU. Basically, you can install it on any ROM (CM13, CM14.1, LOS, MIUI 8) but if your ROM have build-in root, you have to remove it first.
Features
allow SELinux run securely under enforcing mode
Allow installation OTA updates, because it's doesn't modify system files
Using Android Pay and Pokemon GO without problem
Requirements
TWRP (Any Version)
Downloads
Latest Magisk
Latest phh's superSU
Magisk Manager (Play Store)
Installation
Boot into twrp
Install magisk zip file
Install phh's superSU zip file
Reboot
Install magiskmanager apk
Go to Play Store, search for phh's superSU
Install phh's SuperSU
Done
Special Thanks

If you want to know more about how phh's SuperSU works, check this thread.
phh's SuperSU
Magisk
I simply flashed superuser.zip from phh superuser thread and then installed phh superuser app from playstore
No need to flash phh, Magisk zip does that as well. Magisk Manager apk is also not needed as that is installed too, it just needs updating from the Play Store. Only phh's superuser app needs to be installed, and you can use the better superuser 2.0 beta 6 apk instead of the Play Store version. Just search for it.
Can you pls share details of your setup (version / build nos.) with which Android Pay are working?
From my experience, it doesn't work with MIUI 8 - builds after 22nd Dec'16.
@corkiejp John, how are you friend? Tagging as we all were struggling to get right working mode of xposed /suhide. And if Magisk / phh SuperSU works well, this will be a good solution. Let's see basis @100nandoo reply.

This way of rooting is outdated. You can try latest magisk. It has built in root called MagiskSU.
You just need to download and magisk zip, flash it, then install magisk apk from play store. Done!
No need to use any supersu.

I just updated the thread. You can see the new method. The old method works with miui with no problem. I have tested more than once.

It may root the device but can you play pokemon or pass safetynet with it? As claimed in the original post?

I haven't tried it. But I assume the new method got the same benefits from the old method. Because it still using magisk own injecting method.

Hey guys
Soon I'm planning to upgrade my nougat to the beta build which you can find here. Does anyone have a good method to root the system afterwards? I'll try simply flashing SuperSU zip, but I doubt it will work, because it didn't even work on the older 7.1 OS.
Any suggestions or good advice with the upgrade & root process?
Thanks

If you use the TWRP backup that has magisk pre-installed you just need to install magisk manager and reflash magisk and you're good to go.

Also in nougat flashing SuperSU doesn't work, you have to use CFAutoRoot to get SuperSU working.

Nope. SuperSU does work in Nougat. I'm flashing latest SuperSU 2.82 SR5 on December build using TWRP and root works just fine.
