I am unable to get Google Pay working on my device.
I have the latest version of Magisk with Google Pay selected under Hide.
I have installed some safety net fix that was recommended and cleared cache and rebooted.
I have been able to add cards but unable to pay at the terminal .
Is there any special fix?
Also, when I try to remove and re-add my cards it says verification needed against each card but I do not get sent verification codes and when clicking onto the card it does nothing.
I phoned my bank and got them to verify on my behalf to activate the card. Still does not work on payment terminals and then when I try to remove and re-add the card I have the same problem. Just says verifying with bank then no verification option for email or text and just goes back to screen showing payment card with verification needed in red next to the card in question and unable to open it up to verify.

Anyone manage to get this to work on a Manual Nootered Nook? I got the App store on my Nook but when I go to download Apps it fails.
Any suggestions?
I'm running a 1.2 NC with 4.5.18 Manual Nooter.
I found that for my manualnooter'd 1.2 NC I needed to have a nook-formatted microSD card installed. Just leaving my CWM Bootable imaged card in would not work, though there wasn't a good error message just failed application loads.
Good luck,
Ron
That is the problem I'm having but I re-formated the SD card after I used it to Nooter and I still get a failure when it tries to download an App.
Haven't had any issues with mine since day 1. Have you tried unchecking and checking the non-market apps box in nook color tools? Not sure if Amazon appstore has any firewall reqmts...
I checked andecked it multiple times and it still doesn't work.
If someone could post step by step instructions for getting the App store on a nootered Nook Color and then downloading apps then maybe I could figure out where I went wrong.
I'm having the same problem. I just rooted my NC today using MN4-5-18. I downloaded the app store and when I try to download an app, it says the download fails.
Thanks!!!
duh, I just figured it out. I had to have a credit card entered for my 1-click payment.
So go into your amazon app store and choose whatever app you want. You'll get an error message and it'll bring you to your account page. Enter in your phone number and turn on 1-click purchase. Enter in your credit card info. Go back into the app store and try downloading again.
Hope it works!
So I fixed it. Apparently I didn't have a default credit card on my Amazon account. Once I set one of my credit card as default it worked perfectly.
I have a nexus 4, 4.2.2.

Reflash a stock rom, link https://dl.google.com/dl/android/aosp/occam-jdq39-factory-345dc199.tgz. Here is how you do it http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2010312.
As far as I searched, these are the solutions:
- check your phone date ("The SSL certificate contains a expiration date which would be compared against the system date of the Android system. If the system date is too far in the past or in the future, the validation would be failed, thus the connection cannot be established. This is a security measures of the HTTPS connection, so check your system date next time encountering such strange error message." as stated here)
- root and delete the file, as rabbit140 said
- do a factory reset
I've also found:
1. Open Settings.
2. Select Applications.
3. Select Manage Applications.
4. Tap the All tab, then scroll down and select Google Play Store.
5. Select Clear cache.
6. Back out of the screen and select Download Manager (May also be listed as “Downloads”).
7. Select Clear data.
8. Also clear data for Google Services Framework, Google Apps, Google Talk, and Checkin Service. Some users are reporting they had to clear data for the Browser app as well. You may not see all of these apps listed on your particular phone.
-------------------------------------------------------OR----------------------------------------------------
1) Remove sim card.
2) Go to settings->applications and clear everything (not just google apps)one by one.
3) Reboot the device
4) And add your google account.
Dunno if this can help.
Remove Sim card and go to backup and reset and do a factory data reset.
Than put your Sim card back in once you boot back up.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda premium
THANKS!!!
I thank all of you so much now my phone is back to itself...
All I did is I reflashed stock rom as @gee2012 suggested and it worked like a charm..
THANKSSSS EVERYONE WHO TRIED TO HELP ME NOW I HAVE MY PHONE BACK...:good::good:
I AM NOW
2 days ago, I factory reset my Mi A1. After that, I have't been able to log in to Google account anymore.
It gives me this error, "Couldn't sign in."
Keep in mind that before I had it factory reset, I had logged into Google account without any problem.
That error seemed temporary so I just skipped through Welcome page (1st boot) and factory reset the phone again. Even after this, there was still the same error.
I installed Quick Shortcut Method and found Google Account Manager showed error. I tried installing a latest Google Account Manager apk but it still didn't work.
Next I tried installing latest Google Play Services apk and still I couldn't connect to Google servers.
Now I'm tired and frustrated, I unlocked the bootloader and downloaded the default ROM and flashed it. To my dismay, the problem still persists.
Please help me out
P.S- Can't post external links (New user)
Do you have the possibility to try with a different Google account? It'd be worth to see if this is an account problem or a general problem. Frp shouldn't be the problem because it wouldn't let you skip adding a Google account during setup but would require you to login to the account associated with the device. Also, have you tried using either WiFi or data to add your Google account?
@dibyansumohanty
If you have a sim card installed in slot 2, move it to slot 1.

That actually worked. I'm amazed. What was the error anyway? Does this happen often?
Need help
I have mi A1 i hard reset it but it didn't started up because it needs to log on with a email that was synced before.. But i have forgotten that email and now my device is not starting.. So how can i unlock bootloader because i have no option to go to settings to enable oem unlock and USB debugging.. So what should i do now
So I have a redmi note 7 which i purchased locally on a store in Europe (so I assume it a European or international Rom- not sure if this is important).
I'm using stock, never rooted/unlocked so far.
Everything seems to work fine
Set up the phone smoothly, no hassles
But... Whenever I'm using play store to download any app I keep getting stuck on "download pending" message..
Yes I did my research: every time I want to install or update something ( always through play store) the only thing that seems to work is to go to "app info"
And delete all app data.
Reopen the app wait for a couple of seconds and then install/update.
Which is frustrating after a certain point.
I'm sure there's a better, more permanent way...
Anyone?
Remove your SD card and try again, sometimes your SD card can prevent apps downloading from Playstore!

I don't have a SD card installed
first check if there is any data caps on wifi or mobile networks , if not clear google play store data and it should work
try clear data app, and then delete your google account, open play store and login again when the application asks for it

Doesn't really work either...
But what I found to work is have wifi disabled-only data on then I have an option to "download now" and then turn on WiFi again and by a "miracle" the download continues...
Or when I download new apps while I have updates pending, I have to cancel the first "new" app for the updates to " kickstart" and then "reinstall" the above.
Kind of frustrating but
Most of the times this works
I think I found the bug or at least where its located... Kind of..
So whenever I'm trying to install a new app or update an existing one I get this "download pending" message..
First I stop the install/update them I go the "installed apps" on play store and I can still see some apps downloading pending despite I've just cancelled all downloads whatsoever...
Now I press the "x" to cancel the supposed update ( which never takes place because there's not an actual update) .
I notice that for a time period everytime I press the "x" some other installed apps randomly appear to "download pending".
After I start looking for all the reappearing "x" and pressing them then I go to the updates or the new app I want to install and proceed with installation without any further problems...
Until I have to install/update some time in the future...
Does this make any sense?
I had same issue on Redmi Note 7, too. I had LineageOS 16 and Gapps Nano (via TWRP). I tried to resolve this problem with everything I could find on google. Finally I did it with refleshing Gapps but to version Micro.
I was getting a looping "Unfortunately the process com.android.phone has stopped" error on my Red Hydrogen One. Tried the remedies I found with a quick Google search (disable automatic date and time, disable auto-download updates, clear cache and data from the "Phone" and SIM toolkit applications in settings), none of them worked.
The solution? Put a valid SIM in it. This phone really doesn't like being SIM-less or with an expired/cancelled SIM. This is ridiculous. Haven't had a phone that requires a valid SIM to work since the days of the Sharp GX30i.
If anyone has a better solution, please post below.
Recently I had this problem and I was resolve it. I think by delete a specific cache folder thru adb.
Now, ( when I tried to put the sim card in the neffosY5L) I'm facing the same problem and I'm trying to find out what I had done.
