"ok, Google" not working anymore

Hi everybody, I hope I'm writing in the right section.
It's been a while and I tried almost everything, but the "ok, google" function doesn't work anymore on my stock lg g2 (D802). I uninstalled I deleted app's cash and data, uninstalled the app and then installed it again, disabled and enabled the option in Google's settings, but nothing worked. It doesn't work neither in the app or in any launcher I use. It's very annoying because I used it while driving. Can anybody help me?

The LG On-Screen-Phone notification system is somehow incompatible with the OK Google keyword detection.
To disable it, go to Settings > General > System > Accessibility > Services and disable the On-Screen-Phone notifications.

Game killer no application found

Hello everyone ! I have a problem with game killer. When I open it it says rooted! And then when I click select application it opens a window with no applications within. I've used it before on my nexus and I had no problems. Now I'm with moto g2 lte 4g and there's a problem... If anyone can help I would really appreciate it.

I found a solution. Just make game killer a system apk with lucky patcher and it will work.

ROS LAG

Does anyone have the same problem with me? I have lowest setting in ros but still the game lags!! I tried asphalt 8 with highest setting but there is no lag at all. Any idea how this happened? Thank you

If your LG G6 is rooted, install a custom kernel, from Play Store try L Speed/Entropy/fstrim apps should help. Settings/Developer Options/ tick on "Force GPU Rendering, Disable HW Overlays" should make the beast smoother/snappier.

I am not rooted ???. Any other suggestions?

Speedup, Performance tuning [No Root]

After few months my Honor 5x was very laggy, After did few tweaks, i found great improvement on performance.
Here i shared few tricks.
Please note i am on stock ROM without rooting.
1. [Important] Download & install "Google Go" app from playstore. (light version of "Google" app), uninstall/disable & force stop existing "Google app". I found great improvement on performance after doing this. (A restart required).
2. Install "Go" apps instead of regular ones. "Maps go", "files go", "youtube go", etc. note these are the latest light weight apps from google.
3. Disable & uninstall un necessary apps, i disabled few apps that i never used. ex: Google play books, google play games, google play movies, google play newstand, google+, Hangouts, Photos, Social Channels, etc.
4. Use any light weight apps
Holo launcher, (not hola launcher)
Youtube go instead of youtube,
Pixel Music player
Focus Go (Gallery)
5. Allow only necessary apps to run on background. I only allowed whatsapp, gmail, etc. (go to phone manager->battery->protected apps to check)
6. Enable Developer option, set all animations to .5x
Note: A restart required after.
Edit: Please note tip 1 is very important, i got huge performance boost after using "google go". Not only in Honor 5x, i tried the same on Asus Zenfone Max and got the same result (very good improvement on performance) from my friend. I request you to try the same in any old mobile (android 4.4.+) & let us know the give feedback. Rest of the tips are optional.

I checked and found Google go in all android devices. Check you android version, update all to latest version( os & apps).
I'm using official stock rom(6.0.1) and without any issue.

I think it depends of country where you are, or look in aptoid or apkmirror

I did this today, I have the USA L24 variant, and tried this just for giggles and IT WORKED. Wow what a difference! I had to get Google Go off Apk Mirror. After downloading it I went ahead and uninstalled/froze apps Google Go itself provides that were already installed by me. Whomever the OP is of this thread, thank you!

Is the Amazon App incompatible with the v20?

Ever since I bought this phone new in 2018 I've been extremely disappointed with it's performance. Lately I've been experiencing some extreme graphical glitching and lagging using the Amazon app. I just decided to freeze the amazon app. I recently did the thermal paste mod and noticed some slight Improvement. However after freezing Amazon I feel like I have a brand new phone. Has anyone else experienced problems with the Amazon app on the LG v20. I'm from the USA.
I'm attaching some screenshots. The App basically just flickers between various pictures. Or worse stays on the first picture. I edited\blurred my name and address.

I've used the Amazon shopping app in the US on my US996USC rooted with dirty santa and supersu since sometime in 2017 without issue. My wife has a VS995 (Verizon) rooted via dirty santa and magisk and has the Amazon app working without complaint (if an issue was there I'm sure I would hear all about it). What version of the V20 do you have?
Maybe some of the stock software on your version of V20 is conflicting with the Amazon app. Do you get the same slowdown / flicker if accessing Amazon via Chrome,Firefox, etc? Or maybe just force shutdown the Amazon app when not using it to obtian the performance benefits.
Also I deleted Facebook and a number of other stock applications I do not use (easy when rooted, somewhat harder without). Also I use greenify (works on unrooted phones) to cause most apps to sleep when I am not using them. Maybe one or the other might also help.

No problems on my side, either. OP, I noticed that you are using the Second Screen Status Bar mod and are hiding the regular status bar. Do you think the Amazon app may be clashing with that somehow?

Hi, exactly the same issue that me, at least i' m not the only one... I' experience the same in amazonapp, also with Nine email and a app from a bank here in Colombia, This start like 20 days ago, before the apps works like a charm... Now glitches a lot when scroll.
This in an H990ds, stock oreo and rooted, but also i've an spare v20 h918 (tmobile), alpha omega rom oreo, and don't have issues, change the graphics default in developer options and nothing help.. Also low the clock speef in kernel adiutor, change at a New perfine battery yesterday... nothing.
If anybody knows or adress This isuue, please let us know... Greetings from Medellín, Colombia.

Did you find out the cause for this? I have the same problem with the Amazon app but sometimes it happens elsewhere too. I don't have a v20 but running stock Oreo (8.0} on my axon 7.
The furthest I've gotten to fix it temporally is by choosing my address in Amazon and changing it back again. It seems like it's something to do with the address pop up message that causes the problem for me.

There is a bug in the latest version of chrome and web view that makes the screen flicker on some apps. To fix this you need to disable chrome and enable chrome and check do not auto update in the play store.
There is another fix you have to install the updated graphics driver. This driver is for oreo only lgv20, after you flash in twrp you must wipe dalvik cache. You must have root to be able to install the updated GPU drivers.
