With the phone powered off hold volume down and power button to boot into Bootloader screen (Red Blu Green White),plug in usb cable to computer and into the phone(it will say "serial" at the bottom ( let it install the qualcomm cdma driver) Then "serial" will change to "USB" at the bottom of the phone screen, extract the ROM.zip file from download link above and click the Rom update utility EXE and follow the instructions from there.

Ok I need you help please, I have the same problem with my htc 7 surround of AT&T, but I didn´t use the tool "unlock by XTC clip". My phone worked well, but the last week, it freezing in the logo "HTC" and don´t pass from here; it do not start wp7.
I use this tool that you give from megaupload but when the program verify the image version of my htc - it is in blank, my phone phone don´t have image version- I don´t know what I have to do. I use everything to install a new windows phone 7 operating system to my htc surround.
please give me a response...

hi there,
i was using miui 9 7.10.12(ported) , all was fine until an update came that was miui 9 7.11.16. I downloaded the firmware using the updater app and rebooted to recovery for installation from the updater app itself. and from that time nothing is workling. only thing which is working is that the mobile is being detected in the device manager as desired that is qs hsb qdloader etc etc. tried all the methods which are qfil,downloader and miflash. the screenshots are below given. any help would be appreciated especially from sasukay or any other senior members. Just insert battery and then connect your mobile to pc by hoding both vol+ and vol- buttons and click download
u can use anyone Qfil or lenovo downloader.
rest u can take help of me with another option of opening yout phone then shotting pins to get qualcom port in pc.

Don't panic. Copy the ROM/Firmware files to C:\Qualcomm\QPST\bin\ - Next is restart QFIL, re-select the required files with the new "LOCATION/PATH" which is the one you copied.
Now, remove your phone from computer and then click on Download in QFIL. Connect your phone by pressing Volume up and down.

@Jarvis_official, I think you are in good hands. It shouldn't be much of a problem if your device was detected. You only need to check directories correctly.

Does anyone know where is KCOL0 test point on motherboard to short with ground to enter mediatek meta mode?
MediaTek PreLoader USB VCOM driver is installed on system but device won't use it (tired pluging usb while holding vol+ or vol-). Can't enter download mode - error "Your Device is Corrupt. It can't be trusted and may not work properly."
Want to use this [GUIDE] How to 'unbrick' your Mediatek MT65xx (https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1943442) but test point location on PCB is needed?

OP 6T fastboot device not detected

I had to reinstall Win 10 on my computer and now I'm not able to connect to my 6T in order to root it.
The boot locker is unlocked, I can see it at phone boot. It was unlocked also before last update to OxygenOS 10.3.7.
Debug USB in enabled. When I connect to the phone to the computer it is deceted and I can transfer files.
Whit ADB devices phone is deteted (picture is from all in one tool, using command prompt same result)

Same problem here. Please help.

Finally I found a working solution.
If you have a laptop you have to disable secure boot.
Then you have to disable signature verification on windows 10 ( How to Enable or Disable Driver Signature Enforcement in Windows 10 | Tutorials (tenforums.com) ).
I used option 3.
Download Oneplus usb drivers ( Download Latest OnePlus USB Drivers for Windows and Mac (getdroidtips.com) ).
Then connect your phone in fastboot mode & open Device Manager on Windows & look for Other > Android device. If it is found, this means windows 10 is not having proper drivers to recognize fastboot device. Now install "OnePlus_USB_Drivers_Setup.exe" & it will show pop up for installing driver & after accepting(this is blocked due to signature verification in normal situation), Android device will be recognized in fastboot mode.

Thanks man, it worked for me.
Just to complete, after istalling the drivers you can restore signature verification and secure boot on Win 10.
Everything will work fine.

I had this Huawei P8 Lite laying around, and I decided trying to factory reset it to start using it as a backup phone. Since none of the common methods worked, I've tried to download the latest firmware and install it with the help of my computer and a tool. It didn't work and now I'm stuck with this screen. Does anyone know how can I repair it? Thank you in advance.

thats the rescue mode....shut down the Phone by hold+press pwr button as long as the Screen turns black. and then Press and keep holding the Vol-up and the Pwr Button if the Huawei-Logo is on screen. you can release the pwr button but still holding the Vol-up button as long you can see yellow written on screen. Then in the available options choose download and recover stock firmware (in erecovery mode). If that will end in a desaster (hihi just a little joke) if that doesnt work cause maybe the oeminfo partion is broken or emty. Then go to the following site and download the firmware package you need

you need to proof if that match your Device...if not the use search-files on top of the webside
now create a dload folder on your desktop
if you download the needet one...go into the archive
software
dload
you find 4 Subfolder and a update_sd.zip
choose the update_sd.zip and the 1 folder for your device
extract the 1 folder and the update_sd.zip to your dload folder on desktop
copy and paste this dload folder from desktop to sd card
sd card into the phone and shut down the phone if nessecary
now another start proces by Vol-up+Vol-down+Pwr...release the pwr by Huawei-logo and the booth Vol keys a bit later by yellow written text on the screen...the update process will start and end automatically^^
