Huawei P10 lite no service - Huawei P10 Lite Questions & Answers

Urgent matter. I bought a huawei P10 lite from another person, I performed a hard reset and when I finished I can't get any signal on my device. It reads no service or emergency calls only. I tried everything on the net but nothing. The code *#*#4636#*#* doesn't work. The code that does work is *#*#6130#*#* but it's not very helpful. Can anyone help me to turn the radio on. Which code are for this process. Please send me solutions because it's urgent because I can't use my device.

Most likely, the phone is Locked to some mobile carrier.
Unfortunately there is no free way to unlock it!!!
About 3 weeks ago I had the same problems with P8Lite.
Paid solution:
- Go to https://www.dc-unlocker.com/buy and buy 3 credits (3 Euro) and create new account
- After a successful payment on your email you will receive Username and Password (check the Spam folder)
- Download HCU Client - https://hcu-client.com/download/
- Login with your Username and Password
- Put your P10Lite in the Manufacture mode
- Type this: *#*#2846579#*#*
- Go to ProjectMenu -> Background settings -> USB ports settings -> Manufacture mode
- Then connect the phone to PC via USB cable
- Press Read Phone Info
- Go to tap Unlock and press Direct SIM Unlock
- Finally, on the right side you should see Unlock done and the phone will turn off
- Turn on your phone and it will be unlocked.
Tested and works on P8 Lite, HCU cliend support P10 Lite and you can unlock it.

I think that it isn't locked because I tried with 3 different sim cards each in different mobile network.

I am still waiting for solutions. Thank you.

Some problem with IMEI or OEMinfo maybe ?.. try flash new FW

Still the same problem. Does anyone knows the shortcut to engineer mode? The new code because I found on the net some old codes but they didn't work.

There is no engeneering mode in P10 lite.
But as I said, I'm almost sure that phone is locked. Ask the previous owner what SIM card (mobile carrier / country) was used.
There is one other menu that is ProjectMenu
Insert you SIM card and check you SIM Lock status:
*#*#2846579#*#*
ProjectMenu -> Network Information Query -> SIM Lock Info
If you get "SIMLOCK_DEACTIVATE" then all it's okay and your phone isn't locked. But that means you probably have other big problems!
Can your phone has physically malfunction? Sim slots problem?
Also why you didn't test the phone before buying it?
Have you thought about mobile repair service?

Still the same problem
I installed a new software using update option and I get signal for five minutes but I wasn't able to use it because it didn't connect to network, then the no service and emergency calls only appear, oscillating between sim cards. The sim cards used are in different mobile service.
If I install Oreo the problem could disappear?
If so can anyone send me the link that I can download and install using update.app method?
If not could you suggest me a different solution.

Now shows that it's charging but the percentage of the battery drops.
Could be the same software problem?

Prevent SIM service messages

Hi,
I am using an unlocked T-Mobile MDA compact II in India. The phone is running fine except for a small problem. It sends out a message almost daily(may be when i replace my SIM card) which appears of type 'application' in my phone bill.I have also used the antivirus software on my phone but didnt detect any viruses.
In other phones , you have an option for ''Confirm SIM service actions'' , where it confirms with the message "Allow SIM card to send message'' when you insert your SIM card. However, this choice is not available here.
Is there any registry entry to be modified to change this setting ? or are there any other options available ?
Pls. help .thx in advance.

Help: Cant update via Zune; Error 80072FA8
Hi I'm new here. I'm encountering the same error code, however on Zune software.
I’ve a Nokia Lumia 800 and I’m encountering these two error codes : 80072FA8 & 801811C5. Second error code only came when I tried to use a samsung data cable.
Just when the phone is connected via Zune, a dialog box appears “Can’t connect to internet through your phone. However, you can still sync items.” Then when I click on update the error code 80072FA8 comes sooner or later. I’ve tried everything that is told in KB 2484484. It seems that the problem is in proxy settings (googling told me this), but I’ve a wireless USB datacard. Proxy settings are not defined here. I don’t know what is causing this problem in checking for updates. MS has pushed 7.8 update and I wanted to check if it’s available in my region (India), if not, there is a way to force push the updates by tricking Zune, so wanted to try that. But my Zune is not even telling me that updates are available or not!
I’m going crazy as my phone is not getting flashed (bootloader problem, I think as many people told) I did everything to get it flashed through Navifirm & Nokia Care Suite, but it only gets hard reset. I sim-unlocked my Lumia 800 which was on Telus (Canada) and now using it in India.

SOLVED: FAKE IMEI after flash, shows 00000000

Hello all,
as title today flashed my phone to get new 7.8 dynamic rom
flash goes well
but after hard reset the phone shows invalid sim card
and imei shows 000000000 (code *#06#)
any idea?
i found a guide here to use QPST but is for samsung SIII
and the 8700 have different engineering menu code...
Please save me ((
***SOLVED***
the solution is app diagnosis
enter in diagnosis dialling the code ##634##
then *#7284#
and select
Modem, Usb Diag
restart the phone and follow the guide here
thanks to Hero for the guide
This may be little bit nooby but discussing on flashing imei's is not a bit illegal-ish? It's not like jailbreaking or any kind of alteration don't you think?
i think so,
in fact i posted a link and not the entire guide
... in any case, it's not so easy to change the imei on your phone and make it functionally.
you need an imei code there is not in use in your country by another phone
and an imei phone a phone like yours according with product type.
there is a function called:
"auto provisioning"
you see you receive, with some carriers, automatic mms and internet configuration at first access?
gsm cell identify and decrpt your imei and give this info to carrier.
hope this can helps

Tutorial: Modem Huawei E303-HiLink working onTitan7010 (RK2918)

This modem is very different from the others. It's kind of interface ethernet-usb or something.
It is not possible or necessary to make the switch to modem only from Hyperterminal or puTTY.
Prerequisites:
1 - ROOT
2 - Modem with unbranded firmware.
To this must go to calcode.webs.com, or https://www.facebook.com/Calcodewebcom, with your IMEI can get the NCK and FLASH CODE CODE for Huawei modems IMEI number 85/86. Since it is the only calculator free to do so. The DC-Unlocker balance no longer free to do so, if you can accomplish for pay.
If you know the IMEI of the modem there are several ways to find out, the easiest is with the DC-Unlocker
Then lower the firmware of this website
http://www.unlockmodemfree.biz/2013/01/upgrade-huawei-e303-firmware-to.html
and flashed from a PC with WINDOWS (they will ask the flash code, there enter the flash code obtained from calcode.webs.com).
If your modem is lock then use the Card Lock Unlock Tool program, download it from the same website, and try to unlock your modem to use with any company (optional).
After this and the tablet off and plug the modem light up. When you turn the tablet will see the signal bar in the lower right corner.
3 - At this point of the tutorial is where I am a little confused. Since I do not know if I got the connection by using the method of xdadevelopers or if this is not necessary (because I did it before trying to connect to the UMTS Manager Root)
Two options: a) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2172914
This thread details a method somewhat difficult to do. I did it. Instead of using ES Explorer I used Root Explorer and instead of using the GScript used the Script Manager. The issue here is that after the method nothing happened, no connection established, no sailing. Then I opened the UMTS Manager Root and configured with APN, username and password for my ISP 3G. I used the port / dev/ttyUSB0 and "CONECT" with success.
b) Then it may not be necessary to make the method xdadevelopers and only need ROOT MANAGER UMTS on the tablet, download it from the PlayGoogle
https://play.google.com/store/search?q=UMTS+Manager+root&c=apps
add your apn, username and password. Then select the port / dev/ttyUSB0 and give Connect.
In the end I succeeded. Maybe some other user can play and comment if necessary xdadevelopers method (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2172914) before using the UMTS Manager Root or only using this apk wonderful connection is already achieved.
Thanks man
this is cool, just to add, the site you provided for unlcoking of huawei modems is no more in service so i just want to add a place people can generate free unlock codes for Huawei Modems like the E303 as you mentioned.

How to pass WAS-L01AC02 to WAS-L01AC432

Hello,
How do I pass my Huawei P10 Lite from WAS-L01AC02(locked by vodafone) to WAS-L01AC432(Global Europe Version)?
Thanks
This may helps... if you just wants to rebrand the phone and unlock 2nd SIM slot: https://forum.xda-developers.com/p10-lite/how-to/huawei-p10-lite-lx1c432-successfully-t3737383
But if your SIM slot is locked to Vodafone there is no free way to unlock the SIM slots. In this case you need HCU Client and 3 credits (3 euro) to unlock the slots!
The easiest way to buy credits is by PayPal directly from DC-unlocker: https://www.dc-unlocker.com/buy
HCU Client: https://hcu-client.com/
SIM Unlock tutorial: http://hcu-client.com/huawei-mtk-phone-sim-unlock/
You need to enter into Manufacture Mode: *#*#2846579#*#*
Project menu -> Background settings -> USB Ports -> Manufacture Mode
Then run HCU Client, log in to your Account, connect the phone, go to tab Unlock, press Direct SIM Unlock.
