i would like go back to stock rom without stock recovery. can i do this with the [STOCK] Boot images with verity removed ?

I've flash bootanimation4U.zip with flashgordon but I forgot to put the new bootanimation.zip at /system/media
Now my phone only boot in recovery mode
How can I fix this ? Can someone make a .zip flashable with the original bootanimation ?

Hi ,
I think that will not help , you may have to flash your custom rom again ( no wipe)
Next time please give more details , like what device , what rom and what have you done so far ....it will help us help you

Did you try to factory reset?

I know I'm going to get a caning for asking a dumb question. I have just spent 1.5 hours searching.
Is their a simple way to get stock recovery back? I have flashed my nandroid back up and now just want stock recovery instead of twrp.
Not worried about relocking the bootloader.

You can unzip and then flash the recovery.img separately.

sorry, recently i have been busy. i also have a z00d and am developing it. But, now is close Tet in my country(new year in lunar calender). And my keyboard is broken.
U can develop Z00D :laugh: by many guides on youtube, xda ( but intel cpu is difficult to develop). i haven't developed this cpu :crying:

Just flash it normally
wipe system, data, cache, and dalvik. then flash it like usual.
Will my device(lenovo a6000) brick if I downgrade from 5.0.2 to cm11?

No it won't get bricked.
Just take a backup of the current ROM using recovery before flashing CM 11.
1. Flash ED300's Rollback .zip from here. (Source Thread by ED300.)
2. Flash your desired KK based ROM.

If you direct flash it then your devise stuck on lenovo logo .
so don't directly flash it.
got hard bricked when flashing directly
and wasted 150 rs in service center

Use TWRP recovery 2.7 if you wanna flash any KK ROM.
Boot into recovery. Make backup of System ( in case you changed your mind and wanted to roll back )
Goto Wipe--> Advance wipe. Then wipe out System, Data, Cache n Dalvik cache.
Goto install, flash the ROM, and gapps. It would work fine
P.S. the instructions provided by the developer of the ROM.

Sorry to hear. Can you give me the link to the ROM you wanna use? I'll try flashing it myself first and then will reach out you.
In mean time try to flash stock ROM.

First backup ur current rom.... download kitkat firmware file by ed300 then flash it via twrp then wipe everything then agaun flash that file after that flssh cm 11 and gapps . It will work ..

Either flash the whole stock rom or extract the recovery.img from it then flash thru fastboot

Get a Nandroid backup. Wipe using your custom recovery, flash stock all (Unless you're downgrading). Re-lock bootloader if you want to after stock flash and you should be okay.
