Help please. I've got a custom kernel so have done a manual update to 4.3 but I keep getting a notification to do the OTA update. How do I stop this happening?
I could disable notifications for Google Services Info but that would hide notifications I'd probably want to see.
I could disable a system update app but there is no app matching that description in /system/app
Any clues gratefully received.
Thanks
Nick
Hello,
is there any way in CM or using Xposed that when I tap a notification it's not open in full screen but over the actual window? I remember I was able to doing that in the past but I don't remember what setting I modified and that is not working anymore.
Hello,
At first, sorry for my english. It's terrible.
Now, I have small problem with notifications. After installing stock version of Marshmallow (574) my apps are not sending notifications. E-mail, SMS and dialer notifications are ok, but apps like Facebook Messenger or Snapchat have problem.
I have them in protected apps.
I have mobile data transfer and WiFi always turned on.
Apps have permissions to notifications.
Any ideas how to fix it? Phone without notifications is not a phone...

Click to collapse
Go to Settings >> Notification Panel & Status Bar >>Notification Manager
Under there you must enable required apps notification..

No, it's not rooted.
I fixed it. My solution for someone who will have similar problem: downgrade to lollipop and update it one more time. Only this solved my problem.
Thanks a lot for activity in this thread!
Hi,
Redmi 3s, rooted
same issue with both MIUI 8 Global 6.11.3 and Xiaomi.eu 8.0.10 stable ROMs:
Both MissedIt and TeslaUnread loose their notification access (which they need to know about unread messages/mails etc...) after every reboot.
In the system dialog, the notification access is still activated after reboot, but when I open e.g. teslaunread, it says that I need to grant it notification access. I toggle the access off/on, everything works ... until the next reboot.
From a bit of googleing, this seems to be and old and known issue, but none of the threads I found ended in a resolution. Any thoughts about this one?
One eery similarity to the USB-MTP issue I posted on a parallel thread is that in both cases, the system dialogs still pretend that the settings are ok.

Same issue !
Hey, is there default SMS bubbles in Oreo? I installed Superman rom and saw something but then reinstalled again and I saw this no more.
I do not mean yellow round SMS bubble but something more in Oreo style. It seemed to be integral option of the system but now can't find option for that.
one more looking for that, a zip flashible file could be nice
