Hi Guys, first, sorry about my english, i speak from Brazil and found a way to completely block the access to hard reset trough recovery mod in galaxy s8(all variants), but i don't have any clue of how to do it since i'm not a programmer or developer.
in this website:
https://seap.samsung.com/api-referen...yReset(boolean)
Samgung Knox Standard SDK allow us user's to lock the access to hard reset trough recovery making the life of thieves a lot more dificcult, it's even possible to lock de combination Keys to force restart the phone, or force shutdown the phone.
I need someone with enough knowledge to activate those functions and help a lot of people here in BRAZIL, since it's one of the most violent countryies on the planet.
How can i put those instruction Samsung show us? how can i block the hard reset trough recovery mod using knox standard sdk? Does anyone have a clue?
Thanks!

Now I want to encrypt my device using the device encryption feature. Ok.
I enter a password and it shows me an Android guy doing his job. Then I dont see anything anymore on my screen... I press volume down plus home plus power and I see this famous error: Encryption failed blabla, I need to reset my phone in order using it.
So, I dont want use the originally firmware, I need a rooted phone... I also need an encrypted phone, so my question is how can I solve it? I downloaded a legal root file and no corrupted.
Please help me, everytime I try to encrypt it I need reset it again.

Help
Again asking for help its a serious issue
your failure could be due to root, which causes a permissive kernel. I may be wrong with the terminology as i dont encrypt at all, nevertheless, this question is not really specific to the device, hence why nobody can actually add anything.
Try a more general forum.
Factory reset your device then encrypt. It should work then.
Once encryption is confirmed then you can root.

I have two tab e 8 T377P, both have some sort of generic MDM program locked on it when it boots, cant do anything but be in this app, MDM blocks factory reset and MDM blocks Odin, can't get into settings to enable usb debugg and safe mode blocked
I've tried everything I could find in old threads on here, and nothing seems to work, so are these paperweights?
Thanks for help
The tablet is locked down in a kiosk mode. The best way is to ask for removing this device from the MDM supported tablets. You can also enter a safe mode to see what are the options available in "Settings" in order to wipe out the data from this tablet.
that's not possible . even in safe mode it wont allow for SETTINGS to be accessed what so ever. because of MDM mode its restricts access to settings even sd cards, and pluging in your device even tho oden does recognize it. now there has to be a way to by pass this. Everyone has a method for everything else. why not share the knowledge cause I know a few of yous no exactly what your doing . but arnt sharing please . Flashing Twrp or rom DOOES NOT WORK. what are the alternatives?
SMH, 75 views and no one can help . lol stop being snooty and thinking bad things. cause I know for a fact that's what it's about . this forum sucks

I have an MDM problem on the SM-T377P. Did anyone ever figure out anything?
Hi,
I own a samsung galaxy a40 frm my old job. Everytime I try to set it up, It ask me for knox enrollment. I also tried to flash it back using Odin, but always asks me for enrollment.
This phone was my old job's phone, and they never asked me to bring it back to them. I've been waiting for it to happen for more than 6 months but they never called me, I also tried to talk to IT manager, but she told me I can use it to myself, but she can't remove it from knox database? because of enterprise's rules...so now I'd love to use for my personal use.
The problem is that I don't know how to manage in order to uninstall or disable knox.
Please, anyone who could try to help me? I don't want tjhis phone to get old in a drawer...
Thanks in advance
Regards
This thread is for you:
Installing forbidden apps, apk's and even Root Samsung Knox protected phones (Rooting still trips Knox warrenty)
Not sure where to post this exactly as I didn't find any Samsung Generic thread. So: if this is going to be moved somewhere else that's fine. The backdoor I found should be working on any Samsung device running Android 12 with Samsung Knox 3.8...

Thank you very much. Using Passfab I'm able to open a web browser, install some apks and access to settings, but I'm still unable to enter development settings because of knox. Also, In every reboot, I have to launch passfab because knox enrollment asks me to contact to company's gateway... So, I'm not sure what muy next step shold be in order to disable knox, or at least, be able to use my phone as normal, being able to install apps, reboot phone, and maybe rooting it...
I appreciate a lot your post, but I'm not sure if it is ussefull to me. Maybe I'm lost in translation ad it should be somethinb obvious I'm not understanding...
Regards
I gave you a thread to ask questions on it. I am not a knox removal expert.
Yes, I also asked them.
Thank yu very much for your help

I have succeeded in password locking myself out of my s10+ without a sync'd google account, developer mode or any of the other recovery options. I am now looking at tools out there to address FRP, but I'm not clear on what the possible consequences are.
Will these tools root my phone in the process ?
They indicate that firmware will be downloaded in order to fix the problem, and that the firmware is being download from Samsung. Is that accurate ? Will it affect my ability to receive whatever updates are not already part of the firmware ? Are there known "back doors" in the firmware these utilities install, or other things that compromise my phone ?
The ones I'm looking at are SamFw_FRP_Tool, GSMEGE KILL FRP, ROM2box and DroidKit.
Any other useful information to enlighten me as to what actually happens when those tools are used is greatly appreciated.

As with most things in this general context, you're at your own risk. It's one of those things where a grey market often exists for semi-questionable purposes (like FRP unlocking stolen devices). If you can find a tool that is open source, use that...but from what I've heard, most of these are paid services and/or questionable sources of software.
