Bluetooth pairing problem - OnePlus 2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all.
I have recently bought bluetooth 4.0 thermometer and sadly i cant get it paired with my oneplus2.
I can see device in pairing window but can't pair with it as i don't know bluetooth pass.
Android program does not see device at all.
Device should pair through program automatically.
Device connects with samsung xcover3 perfectly.
Any thoughts what can be wrong?
Device should support bt4.0 and above so it should be compatible with bt 4.1

Use PC as Bluetooth Headset?

Hi guys,
I'd like to use my laptops speakers and microphone as a 'bluetooth headset / handsfree device' so I can talk without having the phone in my hand.
Is this possible to do ?
I am using the Soliel 2.3 bluetooth stack with a Broadcom USB BT dongle which does appear to show 'bluetooth headset' as a service but my Wizard only shows 'serial port' as being an available service.
I'm currently using the NBD 8.0 rom..
Any suggestions appreciated!
does nobody know, or is this just not possible ?
I do think it's possible...
Hey,
i am using Jaguar's 3.1 and when i set up all my BT connections i saw the following in my list of connections to my PC: Serial, dial up net and headset. just for kicks cause i've been down about my rom project not turning out so good i messed with it and it works...somewhat. i say that because it was kinda choppy but that might have been 'cause i had both phones in the same room.

[Q] Galaxy S4 Bluetooth Drivers

I successfully paired my AT&T Galaxy S4 to my 64-bit Win7 laptop using the "Add a Device" button under Start -> Devices and Printers.
Now, in Device Manager, I have three devices with a yellow bang that appear as "Bluetooth Peripheral Device" under "Other devices."
I have seen in other threads that I should manually update the driver for these devices to the Microsoft Standard Serial over Bluetooth link driver that is part of the Windows Mobile Device Center application.
I'm just a little skeptical... does the S4 really have three serial-over-bluetooth links? And if so, now I'm curious... what do these links represent?
I am also having the same issue. I just updated the BT stack on the Dell with the same result. Under the Device Functions: two of the list are Bluetooth Peripheral Device / Other devices
The rest in the list are:
Bluetooth A2DP Source
Bluetooth AV Remote Control Target
Bluetooth Handsfree Audio Gateway
Bluetooth Message Access Profile Server
Bluetooth OPP
Shoot me
I spent over an hour with Samsung support. I finally got them to provide the following:
Bluetooth® Profiles: A2DP, AVRCP, GAVDP, GOEP, HFP, HID, HSP, MAP, OBEX, OPP, PAN, PBAP, SPP; NFC; Wi-Fi®; Wi-Fi® Hotspot; MHL support.
"Some of the profiles are related to car stereos and headsets by which windows may not be detecting all the profiles." - This is what is erroring out in Windows.
She could not give me the specific ones but it is two of the underlining profiles listed. I have spent way too much time to get nowhere.
Has anyone made any progress with this? I attempted the "Standard Serial over Bluetooth link" driver, with no luck.
Broadcom
Hi,
I had troubles installing my S4 on windows 7 using windows drivers.
I uninstalled all Bluetooth software then cleared device driver build-up with USB Deview.
I then installed Broadcom Device Drivers, and re-paired my phone with only one S4 BT device not installed.
These are all the S4 BT devices I got installed okay:
Bluetooth Hands-free Audio
Bluetooth L2CAP Interface
Bluetooth Remote Control
GATT Protocol
GAP Protocol
Bluetooth Headset AG
Bluetooth Hands-free AG
Bluetooth AV Remote-Control Target
Bluetooth AV Source
Bluetooth Network Access
Bluetooth Personal Area Network User (PANU)
Bluetooth OPP
Bluetooth Message Access
I hope this helps
S4 BT FTP Working
Hi again,
I've found that I can get the last uninstalled BT service mentioned above installed by using Bluetooth File Transfer -- namely the FTP service.
With BT turned off, using the BFT Widget: I activated "Bluetooth File Receiving Service (OPP) Port 12" and then the "Bluetooth File Sharing Service (FTP) Port 30", and then I turned BT on and re-paired with Windows. All BT services found on my S4 were installed.
My S4 appeared in Windows Explorer as a system folder under My Computer--with full upload/download capabilities--just as if I had connected via USB cable, though only the internal memory was available, not the SD card.
I hope this helps more so

Bluetooth Problems multiple devices connected

Running 5.1.1 on my stock Note 4
Bluetooth works great and connects to everything it needs too. Using it in my car to stream music and talk on the hands free system is important and it worked great until I got a smartwatch...
Smartwatch is a LG Urbane
This may need to go to smartwatch forum but I figures I would start here.
once connected to my car and my smartwatch the phone calls are not clear. There are long duration's where I cannot hear the other party or they can not hear me. IF I disconnect the smartwatch from the phone, my car works normally again.
Fast forward to my new radar detector that connects to my phone for Iradar service is causing the same problem with my Bluetooth hands free car phone.
in summary I have these things paired to my device: All are paired, but grayed out (not connected) I assume running in background. My car is the only connection showing active connection.
Fit Bit paired
LG Urbane paired
Radar Detector paired
Car Bluetooth. connected
The Car Bluetooth is the only thing that is suffering here.
is there a fix in the phone software or am I limited to only connecting to what I need to connect too?

Bluetooth and Huawei Smart Watch

Hi all,
I got a Huawei Smart Watch a few weeks ago.
For some reason when it's connected to the Nexus 6P with Bluetooth Audio switched on in the Watch, it won't connect to the Car's Bluetooth when the car is switched on.
Is anyone having this same issue? is there anyway of fixing it apart from turning off the Bluetooth Audio function on the watch?
Surely the phone could priorities the Car's Bluetooth. I don't seem to see this issue with either other watches or phones.
Im not sure if the device has a way to set priority of BT items but IIRC, you can only connect one type of BT device at a time. I have a Samsung gear Live watch which runs android wear. it stays connected all of the time and I can still connect to my truck BT radio. But you cannot connect headphones and a speaker to BT at the same time. just dont work that way.

BT connectivity issues

Hi guys,
I have a Galaxy S8 Plus running on Oreo rooted, although I have an issue witv Bluetooth and I don't know if it's hardware or software related.
Basically, whenever I turn on Bluetooth, I can't see my paired devices, for instance I have a Gear S3 watch and whenever I turn on BT my phone cannot detect it even though it's already paired, the only way for me to connect it is by launching the Gear app and clicking on connect, and each time it asks for the pairing permission. I do also have BT earphones and the only way I can connect them is by resetting my earphones that way they can be detected by my phone.
This is so weird, does anyone else experience this issue?
Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
