Hello there.
I am new to the forums, i am considering in getting this tablet because i bought an ASUS zendpad s3 and the WiFi signal is horrible for online gaming my question is this tablet capable of playing modern combat versus (not to be confuse with modern combat 5)?

I just bought Jetcar Stunts, and I gotta say this and Modern Combat 2 really show what a high powered android device can do. Amazing graphics and just all around fun to play. MC2 allows for online team deathmatch and other game modes from the Call of Duty games everyone is familiar with. Just a heads up on 2 great games that are well worth their price. If Modern Combat 2 was on the marketplace, it would sell like hot cakes. Gameloft is missing the boat.
Hello there. I finally got me this wonderful tablet...I wanted something small, well built, and possibly with tegra 3, mainly for the gaming exclusives that Tegra means.
I didn't buy the tablet for gaming of course, but it is something I like in general. The first thing I tried has been Epic Citadel. The benchmark gave me solid 55fps average in high quality.
Then I tried a game that didn't really run well on my Galaxy Note 1: NOVA3 from gameloft.
I know Gameloft games are not really well programmed, at least not as solid as EA products (dead space, ME infiltrator and NFS most wanted to say a few)....I played most of them on my old Desire HD, and then on the galaxy note. Some of them would not run well on the Note. I am someone that feels a big difference between 30fps and 60fps...that's why I play on PC. I don't need 60 fps on a mobile game of course, the main point of my thread is:
how can a game like NOVA 3 stutter that way on the nexus 7? From a quad core tegra 3 processor I was expecting something much different....it runs the same way it runs on the galaxy note, PLUS it has no depth of field. I watched the introduction, on the galaxy note the soldier was totally sharp, and the background was out of focus. On the nexus 7 somehow this feature is disabled (of course no way to change it in the options).
Anyway, this is not what I was expecting from such a powerful device. I know game could have been programmed better (not even sure if it uses all the 4 cores).....but what is your opinion?
I don't need to play NOVA3 this bad...it is just a curiosity, something that I would rather have explained to me. I am also quite sure the same game would run flawless on an iphone....never seen it though, i just suppose.
I am also aware of that kind of 'lag fix', which is anyway not recommended. I am on stock rom with root permission.
YOU CAN'T
GAMELOFT CAN
optimization is bad,veeeery bad ;(
You can't fix it,every game from gameloft on Tegra 3 have 15fps ;(
Hello people, I want to discuss about the Galaxy Note's gaming experience, I invite everyone to join us and talk about it.
I saw on some YouTube videos that the phone doesn't support some of the games, these games end up with crashing in the middle of game-play, or some deformations in the 3d meshes, etc...
This video shows some of the stuff I'm talking about:
What do you think about gaming on your phone, does it give a better gaming experience than the S4?
For someone who wants a Gaming Smartphone, is Galaxy Note III a good choice?
Best gaming phone

Couldn't agree more buddy, due to its very high performance, I believe it won't have any issue running the most demanding mobile games on the market today.
Hi all, i've decided to purchase a tablet, and OFC has to be android, but there are tons of tablets. I'm really searching and digging deep to check what will be the best for my money on 10.1 screens dont wnat a 7/8" i've read several comments that the Tf701t has amazin specs teoretically but falls short on 3d gaming performance on demanding games, and the tf700t does quite a decent job but is not much of a difference with this one.
to the owners of the asus tf300t how is the gaming experience with games, i mean demanding games like GT Racing 2 , CSR Racing, Nova 3, Wilblood, MC4, Dead Triggers. NFS, GTA SA, run some emulators .. ????
the extra FB / Internet / normal games i believe it does perform decent enough for the specs.
please share your thoughts.

the tf700 offers a better experience if you want those high framerates for demanding games. Personally, I use the 300 for productivity and light gaming so it works fine. .
Edit: I just saw this today:

I have mainly owned Samsung devices since the beginning of Android so when i had a chance to snag this N7 2012 32gb for $80 it was a no brainer. I have been rooting and flashing for years now so i know my way around a device as a user and i have to say i am in love with the Nexus brand products. The simplicity of the UI, the updates as they are pushed out not waiting on carrier tweaks first, bloat, restrictions and the ease of making changes and rooting are what i love most about this tablet and the support with the tools and mods and stuff are overwhelming. Samsung has lost a customer to the Nexus. Def getting a N6 in a few weeks.
My question is about gaming in particular Modern Combat 5. It lags a lot, i mean a lot on this device even when sitting next to the wireless router. I have run several ROMs with no changes just lag and stuttering. I know the graphics of the game are intense and the fps matter with the device is. Can the N7 handle this games needs? Has anyone got this game working without lag and being disconnected from the game servers?
Thank you
Jeff
