My screen on the 8125 seems to have a mind of its own. When the screen saver kicks on or it goes dark from being inactive. The screen will have to be repositioned thru the alignment tool. somedays the touch doesn't even work right at all. I also have another that the screen is broen on if anybody needs some parts. Any ideas how to cure this problem???
Anyine able to help with this? Anyone?
I am experiencing screen alignment issues with my phone. Especially when its placed on the landscape mode and the keypad is out. The touch screen seems to be touching only the lower left corner. Would buying a new screen from ebay fix this?
I looked around to see if anyone has this problem. I am stock Verizon, non-rooted. I have a spigen ultra crystal screen saver on. And many times when I touch the screen to unlock it, it just turns off. Like I am touching it twice. I assure you I am not. Quite aggrevating. Do you think it could be the screen protector causing the problem? I have had it on since the first day so I don't have a point of reference. Is anyone else having issues unlocking screen? Thanks.
Not at all.
Anyone else get screen artifacts on thier N7 device running Lollipop?
Look like white lines (mostly broken), sometime maybe slightly coloured, appear randomly on the screen.
Happens mostly when rotating the device, see them on the lockscreen & in my case they appear briefly, although I've seen them on the recents screen as well going across the app window.
Seems Google never was notified or they couldn't fix the issue as the same issue was reported on Kitkat - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2542667
See post #8 of that thread for a screen cap of the artifacts.
Anyone know a fix? Is it kernel or rom issue or something else?
I've had this G4 for a little while now. I bought it off Amazon. I paid a little more for the ad-free version. I'TS running Android 7.0 which came from OTA update from my Verizon cell phone provider but I don't think any of this pertains to my problem which is that if I'm in a room with moderately bright lights or outside in sunlight the screen will do rapid Phantom presses continually which only alleviate after I get out of the light turn the display off and then back on again. I don't know the science behind this problem but does anyone think if I bought and put a screen protector on this phone with that have a chance of letting me use this phone in the sunlight? If so can anyone recommend a particular model or type of screen protector? There appears to be a small crack on the phone in between the light sensor and the camera that goes down just barely into the visual screen from the bezel. It seems possible this crack is what's caused this light sensitivity issues since I only notice the crack after the touch screen problems.
