back cover copper cables??

Hi,
I've a problem with my ZTE Blade. Since there is very difficult to open the battery cover, each time I open it, y hurt my nails, so I do it with a plastic tool.
Today, I've realized that I've damaged a rubber tape in the rear part that has some copper cables inside.
I'd like to know if somebody knows what are this cable intended to. Is this the antenna? I haven't experienced any coverage loss.
I've seen a disassembly video in youtube, and this rear part seems not to have any kind of connector to the main board, but i'm not sure.
I'd also like to warn you about this. Please, be careful while opening the battery cover.
Photo of the problem
I think that's the antenna. Has your call quality/ reception altered at all? If not, I wouldn't worry too much

Anyone with a white Blade?

Hey, im looking for reviews of people with a white ZTE Blade. I'm thinking about to buy a white one from base.de (w/o contract) and before I do this, I want to know how the case is. Is it good manufactured? I know from some of my old phones, that the paint is sometimes peeling. This would look horrible on a white phone.
So, anyone?
So far it's okay. A tiny bit has peeled off, probably because I dropped it. Overall, it's good. I've had it for around 3 Months.
I had mine since begining of january, and no peeling problems or so. It has a little tiny scratches around the edges, but I think it is because I droped it a couple time, and I've used couple od nightly ROMs that needed restarting by pulling battery out, si that top might have damaged the back cover as well.
The greatest thing about white mask je that beneath it it je still a white material meaning that even if you have scratches you will have hard time noticing them.
On the other hand the back je not so rubbery finished like on black one, it je a bit shiny si it makes it easier for you to drop it.
Overeall, if you like the white mask - get the white one, it is far to better then black

Mi A1 Telephoto Lens

Hello!
So here is short story:
I bought Mi A1 last year and everything worked normally. Few months later i dropped it somehow and camera glass broked. I am waiting for glass to arrive any time soon so i can replace it. But there is strange problem.
I switched to manual mode in camera app and tryed to focus manually (from macro to infinity). Everything worked normally on first lens.
I did same thing on second lens (focus manually from micro to infinity) and what i saw is that its not focusing at anything, its just stuck, nothing. I didnt modded this phone in any way (i did installed Resurection Remix but i flashed stock rom long time ago, like in first week i got it, but thats about it)
Could be that my telephoto lens auto focus mechanism died? Could be that its about glass thats broken? I hear motor trying to focus when i adjust focus (thats normall). What should i do if my telephoto lens still dont want to focus even after camera glass replacement? What are my options? Should i back device to shop after repairing and say that was issue since i got this device? Because its still in warranty?
Edit: Forgot to say that i am on stock latest Pie, issue was there in Oreo too, but i am 100% sure its not software issue.
No one?
Try to move the lens with a pen tip and see if it moves. I've just tried now my camera and works fine. Maybe the shock caused damage.
Okay so litle part of glass on first lens just fell out and i can see first lens, i tryed to adjust focus on first lens and what i saw is that camera moves up and down when i am switching focus (moving part). After i did that i realise that glass on second lens (telephoto) did penetrated a bit to lens, so i think that maybe glass just blocked telephoto lens from going up and trying to focus, and only thing that can help is to remove glass and free the motor, could be that problem? I bought camera glass from Ali Express month ago and still waiting to arrive.
Here is photo if it is from any help
Just get rid of that mess man, it's no use that glass it makes things worse for your phone. Crack the camera open and try again
Trimis de pe al meu Mi A1 folosind Tapatalk
FIXED!!!
Glass arrived, replaced succesfully, everything working fine!
Telephoto lens focus again!

Glue in top speaker

Hi everyone.
I come to you because I have a big problem with my oneplus 8 pro bought a month ago in France.
I wanted to install a tempered glass screen protector, for curved corners.
I wanted to install one, with glue and UV lamp, like that of whitestone and its domeglass.
In short I protected the top speaker, as shown, but during installation, the tape or the protection of the top speaker was removed a little. Result of the glue is put in the high speaker which is now very hard. It is in the small holes of the speaker, and at my level it is no longer possible to remove deteriorate more the speaker than what I have already done.
The sound is therefore very weak, for the top speaker and especially during calls I hear almost nothing.
So I'm looking for a solution to try to get it fixed even if I have to put my hand in the wallet for the stupidity that I did.
At the warranty level, this being due to deterioration on my part, the warranty will not work.
At oneplus level, do you know the method for a repair or something like that?
Finally if someone has a solution, because I did not take breakage guarantee or other.
I do not see any possibility of reimbursement or other with credit card insurance or other ..
Anyway, I'm really really disgusted. And if someone can try to direct me towards a solution I am interested.
Thank you friends.
Not sure but... If you don't have much to lose at this point anyway... What about you slightly pierce each of the small holes of the top speaker with a hot needle? It might go through the glue and re-create a new hole for the sound. Cannot guarantee it would work as I've never tried anything like that myself...

Well iam not sure about if thats smart. You would beed to know exatly how deep to pierce. Too deep will damage speaker. Now only the grill is glued shut
I have been trying to do it but it is so hard that I will have damaged the speaker. I opened a repair request at oneplus .. you think they can carry out this repair, ie change the loudspeaker? do you think this is expensive?

Bro forget all the other solutions, get yourself rubbing alcohol or 90% grain alcohol and let it clean up that glue. Don't try too hard to peirce anything.

it is between the protective grids and difficult to access. I tried a little alcohol. cleaning wipes etc ... but that doesn't matter. I am really disgusted.

Well I don't know the material that is in the speaker grill but put high percentage alcohol 70+% and let it soak in

Damn sorry to hear! Btw I love france! I have good friends there and only have positive things to say about your country. It also has good McDo!
I had same problem lately. Took lots of wiping , peeling etc to get it all off. I also got a small pin to try and get some of the glue out of the holes
Try to use toothbrush with adhesive remover (Goof Off) like one I attached (be careful do not use strong remover for super glue it could cause some damage for plastic part or paint)
I also did this. I used isopropyl alcohol and I cut a bristle off of a wire brush, this was the only thing I found that went through the grill the holes are so small. I managed to poke the UV glue through the grill eventually and the sound became clear again. It's not easy at all to clean because the holes in the grill are so tiny.

Thank you for your advice. But nothing seems to loosen the glue from the loudspeaker grille from the top. I even tried it with 90% alcohol and a fine needle. Nothing changes. I will not continue because I will end up scratching the oneplus or decorating the screen.
Do you think that Oneplus can by a repair change the grille of the top speaker?
Have you already repaired one of your Oneplus at home?
This is what they charge for out-of-service repairs in the UK. From here the device goes to Poland and comes back with UPS.
I would request the replacement as it's quite inexpensive and while might be doable in home, you could easily puncture the waterproof mesh behind the metal grille and it doesn't worth it.
Once you requested the RMA and it got approved and you have the shipping label, make sure to schedule a pickup on Monday, to get the device back on the same week.
You'll get an email from the service centre about a quote which will likely be around £25-30 worth of euros and you'll need to pay it first.
Hi everyone. So to return to my problem. I stopped all the manipulations to try to make the glue disappear.
I launched a repair request on the oneplus.fr site. I then contacted Oneplus France customer service.
My repair request has been validated, and a UPS transporter comes to collect my oneplus 8 pro tomorrow, to send it to the repair shop in the Netherlands. I should collect my phone within 10 to 12 days.
We will go to the result as we say.
I actually saw the price of the repairs. I tell myself that changing the grille of a speaker should cost less than a mainboard or a screen.
