So I inherited my older sisters belongings (she passed away) and in it is a G Pad 7 v410.
I am very familiar with how to reset an android device. But this thing will not reset at all. It just says its going to reboot then goes to the bootloader and the only options are to "REBOOT - REBOOT BOOTLOADER - POWER OFF" I can't seem to get this to give me any way to reset it. I tried through the menu by resetting it in android it says it will reboot twice but only goes to the bootloader and I have tried many times to root this via adb. I need help. It does boot but its not working properly. I go to watch a youtube video it shuts off. I go to facebook more then 10 minutes it shuts off. but other then that it doesn't shut off. I am at a loss. Maybe I am rooting it wrong. But from the get go it will not let me reset it.
HELP!!!

Hi everyone, I'm a new member to the forum, but have been a follower for quite some time.
Let's start by introducing my device wich is:
EEEPad Transformer TF101G with ICS running the latest WW_9.2.2.6 firmware.
The device is rooted and running ASUS stock recovery.
Everything was working fine until I decided to do a Cold Boot.
It got stuck on the cold boot menu for like 3 hours and I decided to turn it off.
After that it got stuck on the inicial Asus splash screen. I forced it to turn off a couple a times and it eventually booted up.
I knew something wasn't right, so I backed up all my files and applications.
Then decided to do a factory reset through POWER + VOL-
After that it never booted again, and after a few seconds on the splash screen I hear a click noise, like the hard drive is turning off.
When I try force it to turn off, it starts up again automatically.
I've tried to flash it through nvflash, but being a TF101G it also means it is sbkv3, wich is not supported by nvflash.
Also tried boot recovery tools, but it won't even start, because as I try to connect it to the computer through adb mode, after that "click" noise, the device becomes disconnected.
I didn't try any dangerous applications and stuff like that, just decided to do a simple cold boot, the device is a week old.
If I'm posting this in the wrong section I apologize.
And hope someone can come up with a good idea.
Thanks in advance.
Obviously somethings corrupted and in my opinion the only way to fix it would be to reflash the rom in apx mode using nvflash but that doesn't seem to be possible for your device as of yet but if everything is still stock maybe you can unroot the device (or play dumb) and get it replaced under warranty?
I don't think I can unroot it, since it won't run abd mode.
I'm trying to find a way of not having to send it to warranty.
Saving it as a last resort...

Eek.. since it was factory resetted I think you need to send it to warranty. Not much we can do now with just a splash screen on sbkv3
I don't consider myself an advanced user.
But I really did search everywhere and I got the idea that only with APX and without a compatible NVFlash I was screwed.
But I still had some hope.
Do you think they will give me trouble because of it being rooted?
I my opinion I don't think they will ever know, because It won't boot, It won't run recovery mode (stock) and nothing else at all, the only way to fix it is to flash it, but maybe I'm just being naive.
I treated it with all the care in the world, so only by divine intervention it is a hardware problem.
But you never now...
you should be ok (should)......
i done pretty much the same thing to a customers TF and Asus fixed it no problem.
The fact is that I actually didn't do anything wrong.
Just a cold boot that didn't work, followed by a a factory reset...
How long did it take for yours to get fixed?
Hey guys
I tried the one-click root toolkit for mac from android rootz.
Something apparently has gone wrong during the root and I got some error messages and it didn't proceed. Next thing I know the nexus is stuck on google X logo and that's it. It won't load. I tried to recover through the recovery mode a couple of times but now I get the red warning sign when I go into recovery mode. This is only the second day I've had the nexus for. I feel like crying. Please Help
When the red sign appears press the volup down buttons and power button randomly until you get into recovery then factory reset
My 7 and 10 both did that. Just hold power until it turns off, then boot a recovery, wipe everything except system and reboot. It'll come up ok.

I'm having the same issue. However, the recovery I have installed is the non-functional CWM. So I can't factory reset. (I managed to once before CWM bombed, but it didn't change anything.)
I've tried several options via the toolkit. After fighting with the app all day it's finally wound up just saying it can't find adb? (I have a growing dislike for this app and have since uninstalled it.) Adb is right where it belongs and seems to run fine from cmd.
I also can't seem to flash anything via fastboot for some reason. The device throws "failinvaild id command" and fastboot immediately crashes on my laptop.
I managed to get it unlocked. However, I'm unable to flash anything to straighten it out...
Any help would be great.

Thanks for the info. My situation wasn't quite the same as my CWM was the real issue, which wouldn't run long enough to allow for the factory reset boot-loop solution. Kept at it and managed to get CWM to finish the individual formats/resets one at a time.
With a now bootable device, I'm off to replace the recovery... Thanks again.
Okay so I got this phone back in late May and I have to say it's a great phone for its price.
A few weeks ago I attempted to root it and was unsuccessful, so I just left it alone and it has been working fine. Now ever since 2 days ago when I set it to reboot , it's been doing this strange boot loop until it decides to actually boot up. And when it did start it's like it choose when to charge / connect to sub etc. And its like this every time I turn off and on the phone, boot looping and barely taking charge. Although , when the battery finally dies, it charges fine if you don't take out the usb cord at all.
im very concerned with this issue.
I put it in recovery mode once and did a factory reset, but I didn't remove the contents my internal memory, so now I am currently backing up all my files so I can do a full factory reset of this device and see if that does anything. Does anyone have any other suggestions on what I could do? It would be much appreciated :good:
I have the same problem/issues.
I bough a brand new device and its stuck in boot mode. I ordered a replacement via Amazon.
Anyone has an idea if this is a hardware or software issue?
i have another problem with my blu vivo air lte, i rooted the phone and cannot update again, wanted to flash the original firmware, found one on the net for the vivo lte, flash it, and now my phone is in black screen, some times i can get the phone in black screen to Marshall London Bootloader Interface, i need to find the correct file for flashing my phone, i use for my phone this one: 8916_fastboot_all_images, fastboot, and is not working
It did it again
SO I got the boot loop to stop and the vivo air phone working good as new, but since last night, it's been doing it again! This is the absolute worst time of year for it to be doing this, I'm so frustrated. But since the last time i got it successfully rooted with King root, so this time I assume it's gonna be a bit trickier to get the device working. I've tried to get it to hard reset and have been unsuccessful since there's no cwm recovery out for this device, I need help please please pleaseeeeeee :'( :crying:
Help meeee
Can you please tell me how you got the boot loop to stop

How do I stop the boot loop, im new here, just joined today
Besides the Vivo Air, I have a few other BLU phones. I dont know the fix for the bootloop my vivo air is doing but from problems with my other phones, I've come to conclusions that BLU phones are not reliable.
Hey guys.
Recently got a 2nd hand s5 and tried to clean it so i could start new. As far as i know the phone is STOCK and hasnt been rooted at all. I also dont think USB Debugging ahas been enabled but more on that later. So i booted the phone into recovery (pwr+vol up+home) and selected the 5th option "wipe data/factory reset." This seemed like it was completed sucessfully so i rebooted the system. Upon this first restart the phone would not go boot past the samsung logo.
I tried all the options on the recovery menu but nothing has worked.
I have tried to install TWEP but without developer access odin fails
I read that flashing a stock firmware to the phone does not need dev access. However the spam download pages I get always time out before the 1.4gb download finishes
I am not too familiar with rooting phones so i am cautious to try anything else. I have read other solutions and will prepare them incase nothing else works
I have a G900FXXS1CQB4 and can provide any info that i can get to on a softbricked phone
Any information/advice/abuse would be welcome
First, you should consider that the first boot after factory reset takes 10-12 min., so be patient. But it should not take more than 20 min.
Second, you did not say what S5 variant you have. The truth is written in Odin (Download) mode in the "Product name" line.

I am in need of serious help! I dropped my phone off a 2nd story, smashed the screen completely. So I took my wife's old stylo 2 plus (exact same phone) stuck my Sim and SD into it, registered through metro pcs, and it worked great.
I did software update because I was really excited (my old stylo 2 was rooted and had many problems along with being unable to update android software).
Update took about an hour, then said failed. After that it has been unable to boot up. I tried recovery mode, it offers to factory reset. Again reboots and stuck at logo screen. Says error device is corrupt, cannot be trusted, will not boot. I press power it says press power again to boot anyway. Restarts and sticks at logo screen. Device is basically untouched. No oem unlock, no debugging, no developer options, nothing has been touched ever, the phone is 100% stock. I even did factory reset before I started using the phone.
Can someone please help me at the least flash trip so I can fix this??
I am not new to this, but has been 5 years since I flashed anything. The problem is, is that it's still locked, and can't boot up. The phones bricked and never been touched!
If I can get twrp flashed I can go from there, I need a way to unlock it, or flash without unlocking.
Please help me I need my phone for work. I'd rather not switch back to an old smashed screen

You need to download the kdz(device firmware) and flash it in download mode using lg up.
Sorry for the super long delay. I did what you said, and was able to use my phone again in no time. Thank you very much!
