Galaxy Sky J3 SM-S320VL Progress*** - Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) Questions & Answers

I have been messing around with my Galaxy J3 and I found it hard to root. I was able to flash a custom boot.img with a permissive status but my Wifi was broken and I don't have this phone activated with Tracfone. So instead of investing money into this phone I compiled a permissive kernel for the phone based on S320VLUDU1APG2 firmware but unfortunately I cant flash it because I downgraded the phone to S320VLUDU2APJ3. I'm not sure if this is causing the problem of flashing the kernel but if you guys would want me to upload links for my boot.img with the kernel built in and my kernel file alone *both are signed* let me know and I will.

You were able to modify the boot image and it flashed and booted?
Aside from the other issues how did you flash this, with odin?
Also what do you mean 'signed'? Signed with what?

[Q] How to unlock bootloader of samsung galaxy S5.

Hi friends,
I am having samsung galaxy S5, i wan to install my compiled kernel in phone. my phone is rooted. I tried flashing boot.img updated with my compiled kernel, i was able to flash with ODIN but its not booting. After analyzing more i feel that some checksum checking is going at bootloder level. I tried many thing but i was not able to resolve this issue, Even after successful flashing with custom ROM also phone is not able to boot with my zImage. I have less doubt on kernel becasue i downloaded it from samsung website for my particular phone model and also compiled in same way mentioned in README file. In my phone "QUALCOM SECUREBOOT" is enabled and looks like its not allowing phone to boot with custom zImage.
Please tell me if there is any way to unlock bootloader of samsung galaxy S5.

Secure Download = Enabled

Hi
I have a 910C whic is running 5.1.1 wanam 3.2 and Telexop kernel...
Recently i boot in to the download mode and see a text in blue which is telling secure download = enabled and restrict me in flashing (Only recovery[tested twrp only] and current stock 5.1.1 not even initial release of 5.1.1 (exactly current or newer i guess)...
I tried to install 5.0.1 and 4.4.4 stock but no chance ( in the beggining of flashing ,unfortunately, turns red and FAILD...)
It needs to add i used flashify and flash any 5.1.1 bootloader from oh4 to latest oj5 and also tried all existing kernels for 5.1.1 (talexop-halaszk-adam-googymax-spaceX) but nothing changed...
My Questions...
SO can i downgrad to kitkat from 5.1.1 and what is this secure download means and why this happening and how to get rid of it...
One more=is there anyway to remove "recovery is not seandroid enforcing(and kernel)" this messages started from 5.1.1 i know its not a problem but i dont like them but i think this happend bcz samsung changes something in kernel of 5.1.1(devs knows better)???
Tnx for Your Help

I noticed this problem too because
The ****ing company samsuck Locked the last bootloader Coj5 and now downgrade is impossible because it ****ing locked kernel is not seandroid enforcing because you have root and new 5.1.1 bootloader make that
Only to downgrade may if Samsung unlocked new Android mm bootloader we can downgrade
Now you can only wait and watch untill it releases
But I love kitkat because it sot better than lollipop and xposed fully working without lags or bug or bootloop etc and all games hack only supports kitkat :crying:
**** you Samsung no more Sammy devices after that ****ing thing
Cheers
Galaxy note 4 sm-n910c exynos
same like me, but now only cm13 unofficial work for my device,.i cant find any rom that will work on my device

Can u help me with root?

I have Samsung Galaxy Core Prime LTE SM-G361F, android version: 5.1.1
Baseband Version: G361FXXU1APD3
Where i can find rooted files for this version?
And, how to remove FRP lock from system?
I dont wanna to brick my phone :/
Thank You
PatrikPaCho
To remove FRP Lock, You need to remove your Lock Screen (Set it to -None- or -Swipe-), and Remove all Accounts from your Phone including Google.
To get Root, Flash your phone with a Stock G361f firmware (with odin) (google for the firmware, It doesnt need to be your exact Baseband version, If the firmware starts with G361F then it will work fine), Setup your phone after flashing your Stock Firmware.
Then Flash this on Odin: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=24352994023707113
Congrats, Your rooted!
If you want to have TWRP after getting root flash this file with odin (3.0.2.0 recommended): http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...sm-g361f-unofficial-twrp-2-8-7-3-0-2-t3425402
Thank u very very much
But, if i dont wanna Twrp, i have recovery from official samsung or?
Thanks for the links

[SM-J510FN] I need a stock EU boot.img

As the title says i flashed by mistake the wrong boot.img and now WiFi doesn't work correctly Passwords get lost and Takes a long time to turn WiFi on
If possible XEO(Polish) or DBT(Germany)
And if Possible please post LOs 14.1 if possible because the dev took all his roms down
@Flegmon old thread, but maybe you succeeded in retrieving the stock EU 6.0.1 boot.img for the SM-J510FN and could share it?
