Metadata and Pics taken with similar phones - Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have some photos taken with what I believe is a Galaxy Note 3 and the metadata in the photo says SM-N900 which is the base line model for Note 3s to my knowledge.
If other phones that were designed specifically for T-Mobile or US Cellular or etc... that are model SM-N9009 (or whatever the special designator is) but still Galaxy Note 3s take a picture, will it show as a SM-N9009 or will it just have the basic Sm-N900 tag in the Metadata?
Or If i'm just misunderstanding this completely, any info will be useful.

It should show up as it's specific model number. It shows up as SM-N9005 for my model by looking at the metadata.

As above N9005 .
I don't believe N900 is a baseline as most models are not Exynos .
Models .

Thanks for the info. It cleared up my problem.

I 've seen the non-LTE international Note 3 referred to as N900 and also as N9000. What is the difference?

Samsung's previous naming convention would dictate otherwise.
Every base model with Exynos would have all zeros with the others having a 2 or 5 that replaces one of the zeros. This is the same with all other high end devices from Samsung
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 N9000 with 3G connectivity
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 N9002 with dual SIM card support
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 N9005 with 3G & LTE connectivity.

If that's the case then all the results from when you Goggle Samsung N9000 are incorrect?

I believe N9000 is correct. N900 is/was probably a typo.

[Q] Does N900 has the same camera sensor with N9005?

hello , everyone
We all know i9500 and i9505 have different camera sensor .
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2283201
So. anyone knows N900 and N9005 use the same or Not ?
I think N900 use Sony IMX135(Exmor RS) But I don't know N9005..
Hope someone can tell me. Big thanks.
Good question... Does anyone know?
Sent from I9500
I can't answer this for sure by myself but on Anandtech review on Note 3 SM-N9005 says ''There’s an IMX135 sensor inside the Note 3, same as what shipped in GT-I9500, from Sony’s Exmor RS line.'' So the reviewer who actually knows his job very very well, says it is the Exmor RS which is the same as the Exynos S4 (GT-I9500). Now, I don't know if the Exynos version of Note 3 SM-N9000 has the same or different sensor!
I find a way to check.
Dial *#34971539#
click ISP Ver Check
and See Rear Camera
My N900(exynos 5420) is Sure - SONY IMX135
so Who has N9005 and can test it ??
Thanks very much!!
N900W8 - Sony IMX 135
thanks!!
But who can tell me N9005 ?
I need to Know N9005 using What.

[Q] SM-G900H no LTE option

Hi,
I'm new on here so I'm not sure if anyone can help. I have looked around other threads but have not found the solution for this specific model. I purchased the Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900H through Amazon.co.uk last year assuming this would support 4G. However, I'm now just finding out that this might not be the case. As shown in the screenshot below, I don't have the LTE option in the Network Mode menu. I called my provider Three.co.uk and they said to do a factory reset (which I did) and then they said to update to Android 5.0 (which I did) but still no luck.
I prefer not to root the device and break the warranty but I will if there is no choice. I have also attached a screenshot with the details of the build number / kernel etc.
Please bear in mind that I am not very experienced at this so please explain what I have to do in plain English.........
Thanks so much!!!!!!!
@jeroenmw g900H doesnt support lte/4g
I have SM-G900H model and it doesn't have 4G LTE.
You can check its specifications online.
Just google model name!
So even rooting the device will not work?

No, it 'll not work even after rooting...
Because its not in hardware!
Get SM-G900F model if u want to use 4G/LTE
The SM-G900H is the variant of Samsung Galaxy S5 that is built using the in-house eXynos Octocore system chip. This variant does not have hardware support for 4G LTE networking.
For 4G LTE support you need one if the Galaxy S5 variants based on the Qualcomm Quad core system chip. Only the Qualcomm-based handsets have hardware support for 4G LTE.
If you have the option to return your phone for a refund I suggest you do that and get one of the other variants (preferably the SM-G900F for the UK). One of those should work with your carrier's LTE support.
How to use 4g in Galaxy S5 sm g900h??? Please help me
I am with a SM-G900H, and it have a 4G sign on the back cover, how it not have 4g ?

Shall N910a chip work well on another region

Hi,
I have a little information about Note 4 versions.
I have a new Samsung Galaxy Note 4 N910a AT&T Unlocked phone. I wonder shall it work well in Middle east and Europe??
or there are something I can do to enhance the carrier performance.
thank you

How do I find out which 9506 version I have?

Now that my phone is out of warranty, it's time to root it. I want to make sure I get the right stock-based ROM for it. There are 3 variants, according to another thread in this forum: Galaxy S4 LTE-A SK (SHV-E330S, ks01lteskt), Galaxy S4 LTE-A KT (SHV-E330K, ks01ltektt) and Galaxy S4 LTE + International (GT-I9506, ks01lte). How can I find which is the one I have? I bought the phone in Greece. I can't find anything I distinctive on the box or in the battery compartment. The Samsung label on the box and inside the phone just say GT-i9506. Since I've never seen all the variants, I can't tell if that is all the information I need to know and, thus, ks01lte is what is appropriate.

ROMs are generally unified. So, unless the other models have some slight hardware differences, it should work regardless.
But booting into download mode should show you the exact model.
