[Q] Does N900 has the same camera sensor with N9005? - Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hello , everyone
We all know i9500 and i9505 have different camera sensor .
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2283201
So. anyone knows N900 and N9005 use the same or Not ?
I think N900 use Sony IMX135(Exmor RS) But I don't know N9005..
Hope someone can tell me. Big thanks.

Good question... Does anyone know?
Sent from I9500

I can't answer this for sure by myself but on Anandtech review on Note 3 SM-N9005 says ''There’s an IMX135 sensor inside the Note 3, same as what shipped in GT-I9500, from Sony’s Exmor RS line.'' So the reviewer who actually knows his job very very well, says it is the Exmor RS which is the same as the Exynos S4 (GT-I9500). Now, I don't know if the Exynos version of Note 3 SM-N9000 has the same or different sensor!

I find a way to check.
Dial *#34971539#
click ISP Ver Check
and See Rear Camera
My N900(exynos 5420) is Sure - SONY IMX135
so Who has N9005 and can test it ??
Thanks very much!!

N900W8 - Sony IMX 135

thanks!!
But who can tell me N9005 ?
I need to Know N9005 using What.

sorry one more question would the one region lock once its activated?
If region lock, U can use region lockaway though. Chainfire has the thread.
From what I know,
If u buy international unlock version n9005, there shld not be any lock.
Do you guys know what version the tmobile version of the note 3 is?
also would be use able for china?
i am ask for somebody
The other thing you need to worry about is what frequencies your network in the US uses.... N9005 might be locked in at 3G speeds due to it being set up for international bands but US using different ones... Means no LTE/4G...

[Q] SM-N910F vs SM-N910C vs SM-N910U

Trying to understand the difference between the SM-N910F vs SM-N910C vs SM-N910U.
The 910C and 910U are Exynos. But what about the 910F?
The 910F is the one Samsung lists on their UK store, which I get redirected to even though I am in South America. But it isn't clear if it's Snapdragon or Exynos and I haven't found an official Samsung page that confirms the LTE frequency bands.
I have n910F from Ireland it is the same as in UK so snapdragon

Hello,
U can see some of Benchmark here
And also to see Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Model Numbers please go here
Try downloading CPU-Z from Play Store, you can see the detail of your Phone
Why not read more before ask? I'm pretty sure Google can gives you an answer in details.....
From what I read from Hong Kong Samsung official website, it does says the LTE frequency bands, but not very sure the others.

does the sm-n910u support lte in canada (rogers)
Is Samsung lying in South America?
They are selling SM-N910C which is Exynos and they are also saying it charges faster when we all know it's a Qualcomm feature....
Does Exynos provide fast charging too?
Can someone clarify this?

It is not a Qualcomm feature as they want all to think. Exynos model also has this feature.

Hello guys
I am in the UK and looking into replacing my Note 3 with the Octa core version of the note 4.
Do you guys have any experience with both the 910F and the 910C versions so you can give me some advice? Is the Octa Core version alot faster than the quad core? camera sensor quality differences?
I always root my devices but i am not intending to run any custom rom on the Note 4 as i was always happy with the stock Samsung ROMs. In terms of region lock, does the 910C come region locked to a certain part of the world or will it work here in the UK straight out of the box? I am also intending to use other international simcards so presumably if i root it and run "regionlock away" it should be able to remove region restrictions???
So far i only found a few units of the 910C versions sold on eBay. Do you know any other online shops that sell it here in the UK?
Many thanks in advance!
SM-N910C working in the UK??!

I have the same question! I have ordered the Exynos version of the Note 4 recently and I'm starting to think it won't work on the 4G LTE here in the UK but I want to know if it will work at all
All these questions are answered in the general section of the note 4 forum. I used to hate it when people would reply angrily to questions by telling the people asking the questions to search in a rude manner, but I can understand why they do it lol. I'm not telling you to search in a rude manner though lol but omg, the same questions are asked over and over.
The only eynos version that'll work on every UK 4g network is the N910C version. The snapdragon n910f is good but the exynos is better, better with overall snappiness, in games, and better sound quality too, I've had both versions
N910U is exynos cat6 while N910C is cat4. The U and C versions are somewhat international exynos. There's also korean only exynos versions, they end with the letters S, K and L, all these 3 versions are cat6 too.
Then there's a 3g only version n910H, Samsung couldn't have made this note 4 release any more confusing if they tried, cause there are even more versions out there! Hope you enjoy your notes
Get the 'f' Version. There's more development support for Snapdragon. Virtually all North Americans have the SD version as well as the world. Try sourcing your Note 4 from Handtec, not that I endorse them.

The IR blaster on the 910C works intermittently, meaning sometimes it works fine for a few minutes then stops. There are several reports of this in the IR threads.
Is there any direct compassion of 910C vs 910F regarding camera quality? i know its same sensor, but i wonder does the 5433 has the same ISP abilities.

The N910U comes with the IMX240 Sony camera sensor!!

I got my Note 4 N910U a couple days ago... This is the Exynos version, which it should be coming with the ISOCELL...
So, I ran the code *#34971539# which it shows all the info about the camera sensor....
And for my surprise, it comes with the IMX240 Sony Sensor!!! I guess not all the Exynos models comes with the ISOCELL camera sensor... At the end, both sensors are fantastic.
interesting.... it should have the isocell instead

I know right... Thats what I thought... But thats the thing... I got the international N910U Taiwanese, which it came with US compatible power plug too... I am wondering if the N910U for Australia, Chile, Hong Kong and New Zealand could be different...
So far I am also getting 4g LTE with Straight Talk... So, I got lucky.... Also, the box is now confirming LTE Cat6
I have the Brazilian SM-N910C, and its "IPS Ver Check" is identical to the OP's:
Rear camera is Sony IMX240
Front camera is ISOCELL
I don't know if the sony IMX240 is a big deal or not (apprently it is!), I just know I am quite disappointed with the camera. I really expected more from it.
I Have the H variant the 3g variant and it comes with sony too

Really?? For me this is the best camera that I've ever used in a cellphone. I am very happy with the low light perfomance!

No Flash... Actually, I never use flash. But I take all pictures using only HDR. Which it increases the performance in low light condition

The low light performance is there only because it has a very wide aperture (f/2.2), which is also known as a "fast" lens. The problem with this is that it reduces the Depth of Field (DOF) a lot, and I mean *a lot*.
I am not saying the camera is bad, but just that after moving from the Galaxy S4 to the Note 4, and with all the hype around the Note 4, I kinda expected more from it.

Hi There,
If you want to explore the possibility of changing the physical modem of the Note 3 or any other physical mods for that matter, please visit Ifixit here:https://www.ifixit.com/Teardown/Samsung+Galaxy+Note+III+Teardown/19209 I dont know how possible it is, people there will help.

Metadata and Pics taken with similar phones

I have some photos taken with what I believe is a Galaxy Note 3 and the metadata in the photo says SM-N900 which is the base line model for Note 3s to my knowledge.
If other phones that were designed specifically for T-Mobile or US Cellular or etc... that are model SM-N9009 (or whatever the special designator is) but still Galaxy Note 3s take a picture, will it show as a SM-N9009 or will it just have the basic Sm-N900 tag in the Metadata?
Or If i'm just misunderstanding this completely, any info will be useful.

It should show up as it's specific model number. It shows up as SM-N9005 for my model by looking at the metadata.

As above N9005 .
I don't believe N900 is a baseline as most models are not Exynos .
