[Q] Grand 2 Dual Sim Problem

I Have samsung Galaxy Grand 2
I am using 2 Sim cards
one is only for 3G ( Reliance Operator)....& Second is my regular number (Loop MObile Operator)
I hav activated Smart Dual Sim Service
But still When anyone call on my Loop No..its NOt reachable
but reliance works well..
If i turnd of mobile data then both sim works fine..
Why is that..is it bcoz of 3g Network ??
Please suggest me so i can avoid this

Just check by interchanging sim in slots. first i had faced the same issue with different operators, but the customer care guys advised me to interchange the sims ..finally it worked for me.
i think it is not problem with phone .

[HELP] Can't make calls on Slot1 after oreo (Data, Msg's work)

Hi Everyone,
I've been having this issue since a week or so(after oreo). I can't make make calls if i put my Idea 4g sim on slot1. Internet and messages works fine. No issues on slot2. Will appreciate any help thanks

There could be 3 possible ways.
1) Software bug
2) sim slot pin breakage
3) sim card chip problem
Identify the root cause at first.

2nd and 3rd not possible. Since data and messages are working.
Can you provide more information.
Are you on 4g network.
What type of error do you get.
Your circle.
Have you changed your network settings using *#*#4636#*#*?
Have you tried calling using 3g and 2g only?
If not choose WCDMA only (use above code). Also try with GSM only.
!dea user here since a long time(familiar with all their problems and solutions)
Please answer above all questions in as much details as you can.
Please keep in mind that it can be an software bug

Problem solved after i used Airtel SIM in that same slot for some time. Now my idea sim is working again. Thankx

Hey.... i have same problem.....i tried 2 different airtel sim .....they are working fine in sim slot 2 but having problem in making outgoing calls while placed in sim slot 1. Data network and messages working fine but no outgoing calls.
As u told about *#*#4636#*#* its shows UTMS in voice network
Please help.....sim company saying it handset problem and handset company saying it sim problem.......... my handset is xiomi redmi note 4

My sim is working but I am not messages and calls are not working.
i have updated my mi a1 in pie. now i am not able to use calling and messaging.

Same problem here. Solution for now is to change to 2G network, at least for me. When I try to call with 4G preferred sometimes it work, but when it works they can't hear me and I have to scream. This Pie update have so many bugs it is ridiculous. I can't believe they put such ****ty update to the masses it seems like BETA version. In Oreo when making call phone switches from 4G to 3G instantly now in Pie switches worry slow if it even switch and the signal is so bad that the call drops and that is in places where the signal is perfect

Hi, since last 4 days i am facing same ptoblem cellular SIM in slot 1 not working for incoming and outgoing calls and outgoing sms but internet and sms service (invoming) is working perfect on 4G
When i switch it to 3G/2G it shows no signals
But when i inserted this same sim in slot 2 all things work perfect. same problem occurred even when i inserted other network sim in slot 1 (internet and sms(incoming) worked but unable to do calls) I had factory reset but problem not solved

Dual Lte don't work

I have in slot one O2 and in slot two a T-mobile card.
Standard network Slot is Slot one. Dual Lte is activated.
When I have a call from slot 1 I can use Internet during the call. When I use slot 2 for calls the Internet don't work during a call.
Someone a idea who I can use Internet too when I call whit Sim/Slot 2 card?

SIM1: T-Mobile, SIM2: AT&T. internet works while on call from either one.

I have the same settings. But both (call and Internet) I can use only the same time when the call start from the sim who stay in my "standard data", in this case sim 2.
So when I start a call from sim 1 I can't use the Internet during the call [emoji19]

I think you are misunderstanding the meaning of Dual 4G/LTE.
It's for VoLTE.
It's not for pure data connections.
You still need to chose an active SIM.
There is no auto switch data active. That sounds like what you want. LTE line with no call.
Doesn't work that way.

OK. Thank you. Yes, so I misunderstanding. But I remember my last Phone, the Mate 10 this works. So perhaps I must back to Huawei[emoji17] because its important for me.

VoLte active on both sim "Jio" and "Vodafone" but during call internet active only if the call n data Sim is same, if call n data on different sim then internet disconnected.

I was glad to hear that Google are adding dual sim support to Android Q.
I've only tried dual sim about 3 times and I didn't have a very good experience.

I might read it somewhere that SOC 845 doesn't support real 4g standby.

data switch automatically during calls?

i m using 8 pro my question is my data activated on 1st sim but when i hv call on my 2nd sim my data deactivated so OP should work on this just like samsung switch automatically data on working sim (using for call)
