Cannot access bootloader anymore; phone stuck in boot sequence. - X Style (Pure) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

64GB USA XT1575.
Unlocked bootloader. Loaded TWRP 3.1.1.
Loaded AICP 10/8/2017, and OpenGapps mini.
No root; No Magisk.
Functioned fine.
Did dirty upgrade to a November version.
Phone had been glitch since in function, and reboots.
It has deteriorated to reboots and never finishes animation.
I cannot get the phone off, then to bootloader.
If I disconnect battery, wait a few hours, and reconnect:
I cant connect the battery and quickly hold power and vol down and get bootloader.
I get warning Boot loader unlocked screen, then an AICP loading animation that never ends.
If I hold in power button, it reboots to the same scenario.
Even holding in power/vol down during process wont get to bootloader .
What would deteriorate phone into not being able to get into bootloader, but phone is not hard-bricked with no boot at all?
I need to get to TWRP so I can fully wipe this phone and whatever is causing all of this.
Any ideas?
Do we have an unbrick "loader" for the sdcard like the XT1572 folks do?

IDK about the unbrick tool, but I have had a constant boot up, turn the phone off and it quickly reboots again. For me what worked is all about timing! I power the phone off and as soon as the screen powers down I hold power and volume down until bootloader screen! It takes some time to get it right on time, but it's worked for me in the past on my moto x pure edition. I'm stock 7.0 now but the issues occurred running custom roms, so really the same situation. Good luck and hope you get it. And I hope you have a backup to restore once you get into twrp?!?!

"If I hold in power button, it reboots to the same scenario.

On bootloop:
Hold power key only, when screen goes black - hold vol- only. It should go to BL screen.
AICP doesn't work at Nougat modem(radio/baseband).
You need to flash MM modem or reflash full Stock Nougat and stay on it.

I never went ota 7.0, root, or Magisk.

On bootloop:
Hold power key only, when screen goes black - hold vol- only. It should go to BL screen.
/It always work, sometimes it's hard to find the right moment - vol-/
Go to twrp, wipe all and restore or flash last good version.

This is beyond an AICP problem....it might be caused by AICP, but not getting into bootloader is even lower level problem.

I have 3+ of these phones. MY personal one works fine . This is a different unit of mine with this problem that was working fine before.

Fixed--one of the issues (others reported also) with later AICP is cant charge phone. We had that issue with this phone also.
On a hunch, I went to my Moto X Pure graveyard basket, and took out another battery, and put it in.
Viola--I can get into boot loader. The original battery must have deep-cycled so bad, it was dead, and even plugged in, cant get to bootloader.

[HELP] Droid X Lock Button / Need To Get Into Bootloader

As stated, I am unrooted, but still have CWM recovery on my phone.
I want to flash the original RUU, so I can send it back to the seller without a trace of it being rooted at all.
I can't get into bootloader using volume down, home, and the power button...because the power button doesn't work.
Is there anything you guys suggest, or is there a way to get into bootloader through ADB or an application?
Thanks,
hazEup
Bump.
Anybody?
No possible way to get into bootloader without the power button?
Just wanna flash this RUU...
pull battery, replace battery
Hold volume up+down buttons , or hold Vol.Down and Camera
connect to wall charger or usb/pc
if phone always boots up when replacing battery
press buttons before replacing battery
---------- Post added at 06:00 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:58 PM ----------
may need to be usb/pc
I'm in the same boat trying to do a friend's phone. I've tried holding the buttons before putting the battery back in. The screen flashes but stays black for a while and then boots up normally. I'll try with it connected to the PC.

G2 wont boot after hard reset, won't enter TWRP

Hi,
I`m ashamed to admit it, but i think i might have bricked my phone.
Long story short, i flashed TWRP 2.7.0.0, entered it, and did a hard reset, the one you have to type yes to confirm.
Then thinking i get a clean slate (stupid me) i rebooted, and now after the t-mobile logo there is NOTHING. just a green/blue flashing led.
I tried holding power+volume - but the phone is on, and i cannot turn it off. So i held both buttons till it reset and then after i saw the logo released and held again. Then i get a blinking red light.
I must have somehow deleted everything the phone contains?! even twrp? How is that possible, and why would it be an option in twrp?
Any help greatly appreciated!
Normally you should be able to switch the phone of completely by pressing only the power button till it reboots, but then don't release the power button for another let's say 5 seconds. After this your phone will be off completely and you can press power + volume down till the LG logo appears, then release very shortly and press again till it asks for factory reset. Press the power button till it says factory reset processing and it will boot into twrp. Normally you cannot whipe twrp with twrp [emoji6]

When you can enter twrp you can sideload a Rom from your pc or install via otg
pffff, that was the trick.. managed to boot into twrp and now sideloading a rom.
thanks!

[Q] My LG G2 is is bricked with no download mode and cant get to recovery!

Lg G2 AT&T, The power button and volume down button does not work, when i try to get into download mode it goes to "[2130] Fastboot mode started" . I flashed the wrong rom for my device, usually i can go to recovery but for some reason this time it wont let me. At this point i'm pretty hopeless, I have looked on Google for solutions but you either need recovery or download mode. Please help
Have you tried entering recovery by turning off the phone...pressing power and vol. down...then, while still holding the vol. down, release and press again the power button once the LG logo appears...then release the vol. down button once it asks if u want to factory reset and pressed the power button three times to attempt to enter recovery?
---------- Post added at 06:43 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:36 PM ----------
Read this entire post and follow VERY carefully if your symptoms sound the same (two different sets of symptoms with different solutions). I was able to bring my phone back without recovery, download mode, etc. However, I did not have the fastboot error. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2681089

Hi
I flashed bootloader and modem and then my phone got stuck at Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge logo with Recovery not seandroid enforcing at the top.
Power + home + vol down reboot, but holding do not enter download mode. Power+home+vol down and when reboot, then up does not enter recovery.. Anyone know what to do?
Thanks in advance
hold the power + volume down to reboot it and as soon as the screen goes off click the home + volume down..
if you still having trouble try to connect with the laptop with volume up as you should hear the connection sound on the laptop and help you to time it better

I fixed it, what I did was Hold Vol - Home and Power key constantly. It rebooted few times again in the splash screen. And then it took me directly to recovery. I updated bootloader again, put a new recovery. Everything is back to normal. Man, I was worried.

A dreaded white circle..any solutions???

Hi guys
I used uppercut/lgup with my F800L Korean version V20
I was able to put the phone in download mode and connect to the computer and flash the proper .KZD file. It fully flashes and completes without error HOWEVER after disconnecting the usb cable as the phone reboots, for a split second a large whitish circle pops up in the loading screen and says "erasing" below the circle. The phone does not continue on booting, just stuck at the starting logo.
Anyone know how to solve this? Thanks a lot in advance!!!
Anyone?

Boot into recovery and Wipe. Power it off (Battery Pull), hold volume down, push power untill it vibrates. The LG logo will pop up, click the power button for a sec. (still holding the volume down button).

I have this same issue with a US996. I previous had LineageOS with TWRP, potentially with encryption. I did the LGUP to the stock KDZ and I am in stuck in the same boot loop. Doing the factory reset as described here, does not help.

Turned out my battery was dead. Now it is stuck on the Secure start-up screen, asking for a PIN. I tried using any previous PINs doesn't seem to work. I will try to charge for a bit and factory reset again.
