Camera2 API getting disabled and enabled - Moto G5 Plus Questions & Answers

My phone is rooted and whenever I edit my build prop to enable camera2 api, the various camera apps work properly for a while but then they lose the functions and crash. I have to repeat the whole build prop editing process again and restart. This keeps happening. Where am I messing up?

Having issues removing system apps in Kitkat?

Since having an xperia arc, I have used system tuner pro/es file explorer/titanium backup in order to remove system apps.
However in CM11, I have been having difficulty removing system apps, I get the messages "could not remove application" or "failed to remove application" etc etc depending what app I was trying to remove things with.
I've just discovered why this happens and how to solve it easily.
This may help others in same situation.
So... from googleing a bit I found this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2602670
Which led to this thread:

So from what I've read, Kitkat has introduced some security features... I'll cut and paste the rest.
Remember to go say thanks to the dev!
"There are lots of folks around who already has KitKat on their devices. But kitkat comes with new secutity enhancement, SELinux, put into "enforcing mode". Maybe This thing is good from the point of security, but it breaks some Root Apps, like my Ultimate Dynamic Navbar, so I created this app.
What does it do? This app can change modes of SELinux:
Run app, give root access, select the mode you want SELinux to be in(permissive or enforcing) and that's all. Every time you reboot your device app will execute the script to change SELinux to the mode you've selected. Simple and stupid."

Fix Netflix when video is blocked on Rooted Device

If you can't get Netflix because you're rooted you can try this. Edit the build prop as follows: ro.product.manufacturer Google ro.product.model Pixel XL2 (or Pixel 2 XL)
make sure you back up your build prop first. Reboot. Then search for this Netflix app as the one in the playstore still will not work even though it might install. Search on Google and you should be able to find version 4.16.1 build 200147 and install it. It works perfectly for me. Before editing the build prop, it installed but just had sound. I'm not responsible for any damage.
Whenever you update your ROM, you'll might need to repeat the steps. You'd need to uninstall Netflix first. Then reinstall it only after you've edited the build prop or it won't work.

Can't pass SafetyNet check on my device (J500FN)

Hello guys!
Can anyone please help me?
How much important is for me to pass the SafetyNet check, when everything else is working fine (GooglePlay, etc.)?
My device shows false even Basic Integrity, but MagiskHide is working fine, i tried to set Improved Hiding with module Props Config, with the same result.
Already set different device fingerprint, no result (check screenshots).
I'm using last stable version of Bootleggers Pie ROM with Magisk v18.1 and microG module (nanolx).
Is it really important to pass the test?
If yes, then what should i do?

No if your not running into trouble now then you don't need to pass.
The only thing you need it for is for logging into banking apps and apps like Pokemon go and Snapchat because if it disant pass safetynet then apps can detect that your phone is rooted thats all
Already solved this issue.. Just updated Magisk to the new beta version, installed MagiskHide Props Config 4.0.1 and set new fingerprint.. https://imgur.com/a/XQJBhEv
Sorry for starting this useless thread guys, please lock/delete this.

One UI 4 root issues and fixes.

Hello.
I just updated my rooted S10+ to One UI 4. Of course, everything is not working as it should, as Samsung limits feature access to rooted devices. I have installed latest Magisk (24.1), bluetooth library patch (2.4.0 by 3arthur6, whit additional steps) and universal safetynet fix (2.2.1), that passes. As I was testing all my apps, as always, I have issues whit shealth. When I open app it opens and shows my stats, but if I try to enter any menu or tab app closes whit error as in picture below. It there a way to get shealt to work?
And what else I am missing from fixes?

Root help

I'm trying to find a root application that can enable hidden or disabled features in Android. If anybody knows please tell me.
There are no hidden features that can be activated that im aware off. Anyway you can add features and modify your system with custom roms, magisk modules or Edxposed/Lsposed (xposed framework).
What are you searching for exactly?
