Anyone or any of the custom roms manage to get the FM Transmitter working ?
We know the chip supports it and the necessary parts are available.
Any progress on this?
Thanks~~!

Same question in 4 days....
Still the same answer and you are 100% wrong.
So i believe there is a lot to ask !
The solution to all these questions is to have all the specs
Has anyone got that ?
I like to ask 4 example
1)does it support glonass gps system
2)does it support ant+
or as i read it doent have fm radio
thanks already

Hi guys,
is it possible to use signal from ANT+ device in app that uses only bluetooth smart api? I mean emulate (translate?) or sth? (Im a real noob)
I have ANT+ HRM and would like to use it with micoach app (adidas sucks and isnt interested in adding ANT+ api to its app).
No. ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart are different wireless protocols, using different API's and different stacks (think WiFi vs. Bluetooth).
To allow an existing app that uses Bluetooth Smart to use an ANT+ device, you would have to replace the Bluetooth stack on your phone with one where you have changed it (not changing the API) so it uses the ANT+ stack and translates between ANT+ and Bluetooth packets and adds in info for Bluetooth advertising. Not a trivial task.

hi,
anyone out there know if temasek's cm11 rom for the note 3 has ANT+ support?
i'm trying to pair it with the garmin gsc 10 speed/cadence sensor with no luck.
IpSensor Man fails to find the sensor, Edmundo states the phone does not have ANT+ hardware.
I have messaged temasek regarding this.
just wondering if anyone else is trying to do the same thing?
Search ant+ in market and try the service
Sent from my SM-N900W8 using Tapatalk
SOLVED = Temasek CM11 Rom + Note3 sm-n9005 + Garmin GSC 10 ANT+
so just to let you know,
i had already installed ANT+ Radio Service, ANT+ Plugin Manager, ANT+ Plugin Sampler. IpBike, IpBike SensorMan.
Which still did not work.
I then found ANT+ Enabler in the play market. The app says its only compatible with the Nexus and HTC.
So i mailed the developer and her said the sm-n9005 has the same chipset as the Nexus so it should work.
It has. I didnt even need a reboot. Started IpBike SensorMan, started the service, searched for sensors, spun the wheel on my bike [using the Garmin GSC 10 Speed/Cadence Sensor] and within a second it was detected. After that i assigned the sensor to the Bike profile in IpBike. Done.
ANT+ Enabler did cost me 10USD but worth it I guess.
Note though Edmundo still will not detect that my phone has ANT+ Hardware. But I'll be using IpBike to upload data to Strava.
Done.
Have Samsung S7 Edge ANT+ ?
If "Yes" - how can I connect between phone and ANT+ device ?
The base ANT services are on the AT&T GS7E (mine, so I assume everyone's also), so in theory if you add an app that works with ANT sensors then it should be able to pair and connect.
I haven't tried, so I don't know whether it works or not.
