Have Samsung S7 Edge ANT+ ?
If "Yes" - how can I connect between phone and ANT+ device ?
The base ANT services are on the AT&T GS7E (mine, so I assume everyone's also), so in theory if you add an app that works with ANT sensors then it should be able to pair and connect.
I haven't tried, so I don't know whether it works or not.

hi,
anyone out there know if temasek's cm11 rom for the note 3 has ANT+ support?
i'm trying to pair it with the garmin gsc 10 speed/cadence sensor with no luck.
IpSensor Man fails to find the sensor, Edmundo states the phone does not have ANT+ hardware.
I have messaged temasek regarding this.
just wondering if anyone else is trying to do the same thing?
Search ant+ in market and try the service
Sent from my SM-N900W8 using Tapatalk
SOLVED = Temasek CM11 Rom + Note3 sm-n9005 + Garmin GSC 10 ANT+
so just to let you know,
i had already installed ANT+ Radio Service, ANT+ Plugin Manager, ANT+ Plugin Sampler. IpBike, IpBike SensorMan.
Which still did not work.
I then found ANT+ Enabler in the play market. The app says its only compatible with the Nexus and HTC.
So i mailed the developer and her said the sm-n9005 has the same chipset as the Nexus so it should work.
It has. I didnt even need a reboot. Started IpBike SensorMan, started the service, searched for sensors, spun the wheel on my bike [using the Garmin GSC 10 Speed/Cadence Sensor] and within a second it was detected. After that i assigned the sensor to the Bike profile in IpBike. Done.
ANT+ Enabler did cost me 10USD but worth it I guess.
Note though Edmundo still will not detect that my phone has ANT+ Hardware. But I'll be using IpBike to upload data to Strava.
Done.
SIM Access Profile (SAP, SIM, rSAP)
This profile allows devices such as car phones with built-in GSM transceivers to connect to a SIM card in a Bluetooth enabled phone, thus the car phone itself doesn't require a separate SIM card. This profile is sometimes referred to as rSAP (remote-SIM-Access-Profile), though that name does not appear in the profile specification published by the Bluetooth SIG.
There is any way to check if the Samsung Galaxy S5 Duos G900FD has this Bluetooth profile bulit-in ? It's very important because without this profile I get only minimal functionality on the VW Bluetooth module.
I am asking because I cannot connect properly the phone to my VW bluetooth module (I got only basic functionality, no WiFi support on the latest 3C8035730D VW Bluetooth Module)
When testing with a LG L70, the connection is ok, with rSAP (remote SIM Access profile active) and I get all the functionality of the VW module.
If the phone supports rSAP, how could be enabled ?
Thank you.
Problem solved.
I managed to activate the rSAP Bluetooth profile on the Galaxy S5 G900FD.
Many thanks.
How did you achieve this?

The Samsung Galaxy S5 has this bluetooth profile embeeded but it had to be activated by rooting the phone and using the Android rSAP app.
Too much trouble for such an essential feature for those who want to use their smartphones while driving.
Android should enable this Bluetooth profile in Android Lollipop for the Galaxy S5.
Is it possible to transmit fm signals from sg s7 edge??
I am having an Xperia its possible in it with a third-party app called spirit,,anyone checked about it???

Hello,
I want to help a friend with continuous glucose monitoring. His pomp hardware has bluetooth and it is possible to connect it to phone. But only a few phones are compatible - Iphones and a few models of Samsung. When you don't have a compatible phone application displays error.
So, I edited build.prop and application works but I can't find CGM device. I wonder why. What is a difference in bluetooth module in samsung and one plus 5? Or maybe do you know other reason why OP5 can't find this device?
BTW, here is an app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/...l&rdid=com.medtronic.diabetes.guardianconnect
