I've rooted my SM-G531F and flashed the last factory ROM. It works, but a annoying warning message saying "unauthorized actions detected" keeps raising all the time, even after restarting the device. I've probably done something wrong. It's my first root.
Is it normal?
P.S.: I can include screenshot with the warning message, but it's in Spanish

Hi all!
I have a S4 with no root and no modding. All STOCK.
A few days ago I've installed an app...
Today...I'm looking for an OTA update...and says "your system has been modified".
I suddendly remove the last app....and now in "info"...shows "official". I reboot many times....everything ok. The problem was that app.
Now...I've a question: the counter has been incresed??Is it better make a "direct control"...by "download mode"??
The "increased counter" is a problem only in firmware/rom modification?
Thanks to all!
This is my mom's Verizon S5. It was previously rooted, but not anymore. I don't remember how I removed root, but it was simple and people online assured me that it would be easy and my phone would, for all intents and purposes, be like it was never rooted. It's on v4.4.2.
It keeps prompting to update. It downloads the update and prompts me to install. I tap to install, the phone restarts, and then a notification says "Verizon software update. Software update failed." When I tap that, a message says "Software update unsuccessful. Sorry, there was a problem updating your SAMSUNG SM-G900V. No changes were made." There is no more information. It keep prompting to update and repeats the same issue.
When I search, the information doesn't make much sense. I see complicated suggestions like flashing ROMs, Odin, using Kies, etc. I don't understand why all that is necessary.

this error is caused by lack of reading.
If you search before posting, this kind of error does not occur
It just stands there because your knox is triggered.
When you flash a custom firmware and/or root you phone, it gets flagged as 'modified' once forever and you can't recover the former status any longer, which means you can't use knox and, to some extent, depending upon the country where you bought your phone, your warranty is over.

thank you for the comment.
Flash a stock kernel.that s all you need
935FD, Rooted, TWRPed on old firmware. I keep getting OTA Software (Firmware) Update available popping up all the time. I'm traveling at the moment and can NOT update and risk bricking my phone. (Since I'm rooted, I can't do OTA update, have to either use ODIN or FlashFire). Is there a way to stop the message popping up? It is really annoying! (I already disabled "Download updates automatically" in the "About Device" in "Settings".
Many thanks!
Do you have Scheduled Software updates on?
Apart form that, no idea how to disable.
What you could do, is use android to suppress it.
Wait for the notification to appear, Pull the drawer down and Keep hold of the notification.
hit the Hide / Mute icon and it should no longer appear.
As reassurance you cannot apply the update if you are rooted. It checks for official or modified, and will fail on its first check.
So dont worry, any accidental presses will not make the update happen
have you tried "triangle away" in the app store?
I keep on getting Unauthorised actions detected, please restart the device to undo any unauthorized changes. I did restart as it said. and also I did factory reset and problem is still there and with this problem, i am getting very bad lag on my device.
It all started when I used DR.fone to recover music files from the device. I connected my device to pc and DR.fone did a flashing into my device and after that all that notification and lag started
Plz check status of knox.
Reset!
I'm having the same issue (S7 Edge) after using Dr.Fone to recover some Whatsapp pictures (which it failed to do)
no i keep getting this annoying (yet slightly worrying the more i think) message about unauthorised actions detected?
Hoping its not a security flaw, i manually took the phone out of developer mode as dr.fone asks for it to be in that state.
I have done the restart via the message pop up.
I have done the hard restart manually
i have checked knox status = 0x000
Can anyone suggest anything worthy of an attempt.
Many thanks in advance
i have got the same issue due to the same reasons, please help
you need to flash firmware using Odin or use smartswitch to back up and then recover firmware this happened to me as well and I flashed phone using Odin it was very annoying and worrying as i could not update firmware from phone it's a very invasive software and I am sure it's not legal.
