Hi all!
I have a S4 with no root and no modding. All STOCK.
A few days ago I've installed an app...
Today...I'm looking for an OTA update...and says "your system has been modified".
I suddendly remove the last app....and now in "info"...shows "official". I reboot many times....everything ok. The problem was that app.
Now...I've a question: the counter has been incresed??Is it better make a "direct control"...by "download mode"??
The "increased counter" is a problem only in firmware/rom modification?
Thanks to all!

Hi XDA,
I have a Singtel(Code: SIN) Galaxy S4 International LTE version on XXUFNBE Android 4.4.2. I've recently rooted my phone, and started playing around with my system. However, soon I found out about the 'Custom' Device Status preventing software updates and wanted to re-flash back to stock un-modified official Samsung 4.4.2 Kitkat ROM. I didn't want to use Odin and flash the .tar.md5, as I felt that that wasn't the real "Official" ROM. I wanted the Kitkat flashable zip from Samsung's FOTA servers, but I couldn't find the link. I Googled all over and nobody knew. I would appreciate anyone's help in finding the URL for the flashable ROM zip file. Thanks a lot! I'll need the zip ASAP, as my father wasn't pleased with me modifying my phone either.
Use Triangle Away for reset your flash counter and change the status CUSTOM to Official. This is a good way for receive OTA/Kies 3 updates :highfive:

I'm sorry, I'm afraid you don't get me. By "Official", I mean in Settings>About Device>Status, under "Device Status", it says "Official", not "Custom". Triangle Away only sets the "Current Binary" to "Samsung Official", but not the one under the Settings app. If the one under Settings isn't "Official", you won't be able to use Samsung's OTA update feature. However, Triangle Away only allows you to claim warranty, but not software update.

Yes, because with this root method you modified binary and bypass knox. You must unroot the device, then reflash with stock ROM to reinstall stock boot manager. The you're ready to go. BUT this is my opinion and I don't know it's worked. And I'm not sure about re-flash with stock ROM and Knox flags.
>>> Ask @Rox for safety way to bring back the device to stock (clear current binrary, system status and un-root) and confirm.
ok first of all hey all i am very new here and no clue about rooting etc.
here is the background of my problem
i own note 3 (sm-n900) recently upgraded to stock lollipop rom and root using odin. root was successful however when i open xmodgames and launch clash of clans i get a message saying "Oops! Mod doesn't work now."
i surfed google for quite a while and came to know that by changing Se android status from enforcing to premissive its will work. i tried SeLinuxModeChanger however it doesnt seem to affect the status.
can someone please help me with detailed step by step process?
I've rooted my SM-G531F and flashed the last factory ROM. It works, but a annoying warning message saying "unauthorized actions detected" keeps raising all the time, even after restarting the device. I've probably done something wrong. It's my first root.
Is it normal?
P.S.: I can include screenshot with the warning message, but it's in Spanish

Screenshot will help to understand this issue.
Is the smart manager app showing this message?? If so then there should not be any problems and you can just ignore it.
that message is samsung knox... search how disable it
Hi everyone,
Straight to the point, I bought Samsung S7 Edge second-hand and I get trouble in lagging and always show notification of "Unauthorized actions have been detected. Restart your phone to undo any unauthorized changes."
This problems also tangled me when I'm using Samsung Health...:crying::crying::crying:
As basic situation, I know it had been root and unroot before I bought this phone.
Is anyone can help me to get rid off?:crying::crying:
samsung health, android pay and secure folder won't work on device that has root or have been rooted. firstly, to get rid of the annoying notification, install titanium backup, grant root rights if you are still rooted, locate the apk "security log agent and freeze it. If not, install latest twrp and root with magisk or supersu, just search online how to do so. lastly , to get rid of the lagging and notification . flash latest stock rom via odin and everything would be fine ..just remember that your knox is tripped forever so don't expect samsung health would work after removing root or getting back to latest stock ..hope this helps and good luck
