Still a few issues but the priority for now is to get it at a stage where it can be officially added to nightlies which will allow anyone to work on the code and submit fixes through gerrit. It'll be good to finally have everyone working together if they want to

Also do you know when first RC will come out?

It should be added to nightlies within the next two weeks I believe. Camera previews aren't working properly. Not sure about other issues.. I'll ask Jacob to post an update.

Not promising anything, but I go away on the 10th of August and would like to have nightlies for you guys before I go, as well as gerrit so others can contribute.

Dont mind the haters sweetie it will just distract you. The maybe you want to use the release by wind + the translated setting by eg. I was using that rom for a bout a week and trace bugs. I can say that it has very minimal bug and almost all work, so far the bug i see is the random reboot sometimes on mms and in wifi but not so often. Maybe updating the base is good as well. If you will continue then I look forward on it as jah already stopped his GB MIUI port.

He did as he wants to focus on MIUIv4 as soon as nAa release an update with almost fixed all ICS. Im also wondering coz Jah might stopped also as I read somewhere else that he is having Xperia S.

If it gives CM the ability to recreate the stock camera functionality, then GREAT, otherwise it's quite useless...
I will keep using stock because of the camera. CM has NEVER been able to implement the proprietary camera functionality in devices...

And? Do you expect them to use Sony FW camera interface? I don't. Unless you have a Nexus it's the same case with all of CM's devices, camera quality will never be as good as stock.

Wtf are you talking about? This has nothing to do with camera quality in AOSP ROMs, it just makes kernel building and development easier for devs

Came in here to see if there was a compile yet... We will see paranoid or cm first I'm wagering... Cm will be a few days off I'm guessing too. We have to wait for them to start most of these Roms.

Yes, I think CM will be releasing something on the start of december...
I already see some ports to Nexus devices (including 7 2012&2013), maybe someone who knows coding may port it for us as a preview or a test build, the same way that somebody tried with MIUI from Nexus 7 2013 \o/
A dev could attempt a vanilla asop build.
But I am not a dev

My friend actually thought me how to build from source, so I am going to try to build android l rom for tab 2 7" but i kind of forgot how, but i will let you guys know how it goes!

And yup, I'm really excited! I guess CM or PA will be the first ones to release the ROMS for our Tabs. My only worry is about the CPU (kind of outdated).

I just hope we didn't lost one of the biggest Tab 2 helpers around. And as he said, if he likes it, he will do it.

Really sorry about what happened, hope he come back and all of those stupid guys learn something...
Also, OFFICIAL NEWS ABOUT CYANOGENMOD 12: They said that initial works should be seen in the first days of next month or even in the ending of this month. Note: official nightlies only for devices with official device maintainers (don't know if Tab 2 still have one) :good::good::good:

There's also another developer which left. It's Varun, the guy who built AOSP 5.0 for Xperia L. Lots of questions on the development thread made him leave. Oh well, hope he comes back.
Afaik, we have no active maintainer. Codeworkx used to be our maintainer, but he left. Just sent an email to CyanogenMod about this.

I was a Samsung user who got bored with sammy and now im with asus officially i worked for them locally.
Anyway my history in XDA and the Web is quite clear.
Im Hamed Ameli Aka @Halcyon in XDA. I will bring Halcyon projects to Asus Zenfone series in my Free time including HalcyonOS and so on.
I would love as many as you guys join in my Super group where many of Proffesional guys already there about 90 peoples are active.

HalcyonOS is an upcoming project where is in BIG WIP. If you want to know more, just join the Telegram supergroup/channel. That's it.

I recently changed to asus by their promo phone to me
I really working on it in my limited time, and it's not only me we are a team.
I am not that much active in xda but for sure HalcyonOS and Halcyon MOD Will truely come.
Mr. Al_iraqi is one of my old friends from Samsung halcyon days he recommended me this device.
Ok soon enough i will penetrate the development board of both asus and Samsung just give me some room and time to develop my own website and setup myself on this newly come to my hand device and get used to zenui.
Anyway sofar even for now i have done much than it's ever done in zenfone i believe but im in search of incredible too if asus not release android 6 soon enough for us i will send my lollipop ? mods right ahead.
