I want to donate Galaxy Note

Hello all
I am waiting for Note II to be delivered. If I will be happy with it I want to donate my old Galaxy Note to someone. By someone I mean very good developer who did a lot to community and maybe lost its phone, maybe CM10 team needs test device, maybe Chainfire as he is amazing developer ooor maybe PA team needs test device.
What do you think ?

well a great idea
i vote for CheckRom team their note got damaged and they stopped ics development... here is official text
Please Note!
There will be no release of a CheckRom ICS for the Galaxy Note.
The reason being that the Note used for development was damaged during an accident that one of our devs had, and was beyond repair.
We will continue to support our current roms for the galaxy note, but there will be no further development at this time into ICS for the Galaxy Note!
If things change it will be announced in our forum!
Sorry for the disappointment, but these things happen!

Hey, I've been using Slim ICS and now Slim Bean 2.6.1 on my S2. Would love to have it on my Note as well...

no worries, I will consider Slim Rom. I want to get in touch with CM team since I think we owe them so much.

Just a suggestion.....Phil3759 has done alot of work for noobie kinda flashers (like me) to make stock kernel triple safe, i know het doesn't own a note, don't even know he's interested but i suppose he is

Well I had 2 note's at one time. Sold one to Chadrick.7 and the other...well..
I gave my other working note to a friend of mine, who was in need of a phone. He had dropped his and cracked the screen, and it wouldn't work anymore. So since I had a few devices at the time, I let him use mine. And now I just use my ATT branded S3.
However I still deeply miss my note. It has a special place in my heart . So that's why I said I would love to have another note. Cause yea. Cannot get a hold of that friend anymore. He "vanished" . Amazing how that happens.

Isnt it strange how "friends" can vanish when they have gotten s much from someone? =(

It seems whenever I have something, I make lots of friends, But when its gone, So are they !!
Oh well, XDA is my friend and all its members are my friends too ! On-line im very popular In real life......................Im not :crying:

Who ever you decide is your decision, But all the maintainers of the N7000 for the CM team, already have one
On a side note, I build for 5 different devices. Even though I don't have an N7000 at the moment, I still develop for it, and besides. I want to attempt an Asylum Paranoid Android. And its sorta hard without a note

Apparently kennith & swift have been replaced by new mods, and a lot of them...

Damn. I'm really gonna miss the kennethpenn / swiftks good cop / bad cop team!

The Atrix forums have turned into a ghost town. It's sad that we never were able to unlock the full potential of our phones. Everyone has moved on at this point.

If Developers are in such need, then I might suggest grabbing some dev books, and learn.

atrix is already 2 years old and I have learned so much time passes by develop , atrix will be 30 years old

Petition for RevolutionaryS5 ROM

OK... So as you probably know @ricky310711 decided to close the development of the RevolutionaryS5 ROM that he was developing with @SkywalkerZ .
We all know how amazing the ROM is (especially V4 is promised to be one of the best ) and in order for the development to continue, @ricky310711 need you to sign this petition.
All you have to do is to let here a commentary that you want the development to continue.
Also, you can vote in the poll

I guess I won't need this post, but... Why not ? Maybe I edit it later.

how sad that people can not respect that it takes time to develop a new rom, and even can not read the rules of this forum.
Developers work hard and free for us, and which you can read earlier in this thread they also have family to be cared for.
ricky310711 and SkywalkerZ in've got something right with this rom, and I would personally be sad to see this project be shut down. I really hope that you turn back to develop again, so we can get several good versions of this rom.
But if this is the end now, so you have my full support.

I want this rom to continue!

I don't know if my post makes a difference or not! But we all want continuation of Revolutionary S5 ROM. As the name suggests itself its revolutionary , some impatient people were asking ETA's and causing disturbance. But other users like me were and we still are waiting for the next release. Please make it happen.

Continue the rom development please ricky and skywalkerz this is probably the best rom for s3 out there and seeing it go down over one or two guy's immaturity will be very heartbreaking and sad for those who have been loyal to your rom. So it's my earnest request that you continue development, for the users that have been loyal The rest is your decision and I'll respect it.

Came in here to see if there was a compile yet... We will see paranoid or cm first I'm wagering... Cm will be a few days off I'm guessing too. We have to wait for them to start most of these Roms.

Yes, I think CM will be releasing something on the start of december...
I already see some ports to Nexus devices (including 7 2012&2013), maybe someone who knows coding may port it for us as a preview or a test build, the same way that somebody tried with MIUI from Nexus 7 2013 \o/

A dev could attempt a vanilla asop build.

My friend actually thought me how to build from source, so I am going to try to build android l rom for tab 2 7" but i kind of forgot how, but i will let you guys know how it goes!

Heck yeah. CM said they'll start releasing nightlies in December

And yup, I'm really excited! I guess CM or PA will be the first ones to release the ROMS for our Tabs. My only worry is about the CPU (kind of outdated).

Our hero could be:
 @tuxafgmur he is (I think) the best developer for P51XX

I believe on @Android-Andi too, he's the guy for the whole Tab 2 community!

I just hope we didn't lost one of the biggest Tab 2 helpers around. And as he said, if he likes it, he will do it.
There's no sense on making pressure on him, it won't change nothing.

Really sorry about what happened, hope he come back and all of those stupid guys learn something...
Also, OFFICIAL NEWS ABOUT CYANOGENMOD 12: They said that initial works should be seen in the first days of next month or even in the ending of this month. Note: official nightlies only for devices with official device maintainers (don't know if Tab 2 still have one) :good::good::good:

There's also another developer which left. It's Varun, the guy who built AOSP 5.0 for Xperia L. Lots of questions on the development thread made him leave. Oh well, hope he comes back.
Afaik, we have no active maintainer. Codeworkx used to be our maintainer, but he left. Just sent an email to CyanogenMod about this.

[ROM]Android M port for Moto E.

Hey!
My name is Lukeiss Dunne and I am from the Zyrobose Team.
The rest of the team and I are planning on porting the Android M Developer Preview for many android devices.
The Moto E will be the first device we will develop this port for!
This port will be 100% stock Android and will not be changed/customised.
When Android M is released to the android open source project then we will also make a vanilla ROM running on this version.
Soon after we may also develop a tweaked and customised ROM.
We will only begin work on this port if there is enough interest from users of the above mentioned device.
So comment below if you are interested in seeing this ROM being developed!

If you or your team wants to share your builds in XDA, you are more than welcome.
Theres no reason to ask if the users are interested.
