[Resolved] G935F stuck on boot logo - Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions and Answers

Yesterday I successfully rooted my S7 Edge (Exynos) using ODIN and cf auto root, but I then noticed that my banking app (and some other things) wasn't working so I decided to unroot. I used the Full unroot (or whatever it's called) in the SuperSU app and now my phone is stuck, looping on the boot logo. I can get into download mode and I tried following these instructions - https://forum.xda-developers.com/s7-edge/help/help-stuck-samsung-logo-recovery-boot-t3634988 and some others, but I'm unable to flash anything, I always get FAIL! (DeviceInfo)
I was on firmware G935FXXS1DQHM
Please help
Edit: Managed to flash the stock image after holding down the vol down + home + power key right after clicking Start in ODIN. Was then stuck on Samsung logo, fixed that with wipe and delete cache in recovery mode

[Q]Rogers Galaxy S4 stuck at boot logo

After flashing some ROM, I am having trouble because the phone is stuck in Samsung Galaxy IV logo.
First couple times I was able to boot to twrp and do a format, wipe, flash, then davik wipe. The problem is that I was able to restart and set up and update etc but if i restart the phone, it would stuck at boot logo.
So I flashed it again and installed GooManager and installed twrp again, tried to restart and it would just stuck at Samsung boot logo, I can't even get into recovery mode.
I tried using Odin and flash cwm but it would not boot into recovery mode.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
I'll try to flash it with stock ROM with ODIN going into download mode, but somehow I don't think that will work.
I'm using Canadian Rogers Galaxy S4 SGH-I337M
Please let me know if there is anything I can do
Boot to download mode (volume down+ home during boot) and Odin to stock MDJ firmware would be my suggestion. Give it a boot and then factory reset. If hangs on first boot, go into recovery (volume up+ home during boot) and factory reset via recovery. After phone boots install triangle away, reset counter, and then do the OTA update.
Finally got around to updating to the MG1 firmware last night and found that Odin directly to MG1 did not update the modem (baseband) and also left me with no Wi-Fi. The above steps applied the new modem and did not cause any Wi-Fi issues.
After update, to root just use the CF auto root for Canadian models with Odin then goo manager for custom recovery (twrp).

Root for SMT330NU Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 Android 5.1.1

Has anyone successfully rooted the OTA version of 5.1.1 lollipop? I tried CF-Autoroot, and soft-bricked my tabled... I got a "Pass" using Odin 3.7 and 3.10 but each time it only got back to the animated Samsung logo and got stuck there for hours. Only way out of it was to hard reset, and then re-flash a stock 5.1.1 downloaded directly from Samsung... I am just wondering if there is an updated Towelroot, Cf-Autoroot file, or some other method which will ONLY give me root access. I don't want to which from stock rom, because there isn't a custom one with ALL features working properly. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanx
*Also again, if you tried any root method and you are stuck at the animated Samsung logo, then just boot your device into "Download" mode by powering off and then powering back on holding "Power + Down Volume + Home" keys, then press UP when asked if you want to enter DOWNLOAD mode... then flash the STOCK 5.0.1 or 5.1.1 firmware using ODIN 3.10. Click the "AP" tab, then choose the stock firmware file, and don't change ANY options.
Begin the flash, and it will take maybe 15 min and your tab will boot back up no prob. If you DO encounter a problem while flashing, then reboot into recovery mode by powering off then power on holding "Power + UP volume + Home" then choose "Wipe Data Factory Reset", then "Wipe Cache", and then REBOOT. Then Perform the first steps listed again (Download mode) and try the Odin Flash again. This should work, for any SMT330 device, I have tested this method myself.*

Help, stuck on samsung animation after using cf-auto-root.

Hi,
My S7 edge Exynos, sm-g935f, is on nougat.
I downloaded cf-autot root from
download chainfire eu/930/CF-Root1/CF-Auto-Root-hero2lte-hero2ltexx-smg935f.zip?retrieve_file=1
I enabled "OEM unlocking" in the developer options.
After Odin process finished, it shows "pass".
But My phone now stuck on the Samsung animation logo when boot.
Please help - any help is useful.
Thanks.
[update]
I still can enter download mode by pressing home + power + volume down
I also can enter recovery mode by pressing home + power + column up
In recovery mode, my phone shows
samsung/hero21texx/hero2lte
7.0/NRD90M/G935FXXU1DQD3
But I cannot find the official ROM in the page
sammobile /firmwares/galaxy-s7-edge/SM-G935F/
Update 2:
My phone is back after wipe the cache and reset to factory in the recovery mode. And it's not rooted.
I didn't know that CF-Auto root is working on the S7 edge already... -.-
There is sticky post at s7 edge forum
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=66937471&postcount=4
Did you even read a few posts?
CF-Auto Root is for Marshmallow....you're on Nougat
This is the way you have to go: https://forum.xda-developers.com/s7...overy-official-twrp-hero2lte-3-0-0-0-t3334084
Thanks. I freshed TWRP and installed superSU, and a custom ROM, now everything works.
By the way, the official ROM still caused Samsung logo bootloop, but a custom ROM is running well.

Boot Loop on Galaxy S7 Edge

Hi all, so after trying to get rid of the FRP on my Galaxy S7 with Odin, I essentially bricked my phone and now it is stuck on a boot loop at first it was with the Samsung Logo screen, but I decided to screw up even more and now it is stuck on a boot loop that only displays "RECOVERY BOOTING" unable to get into the recovery it just sits there with the blue letters popping up. The files that I ended up flashing that bricked my phone were within this following thread just for reference. I was confused on what images to flash so I ended up flashing two of them a custom BOOT image and a RECOVERY image. Unable to succeed as the phone ended up on a boot loop. Any help is welcome. Thanks.

Try to reach odin download mode
Restart your phone using power home vol down and keep holding it until you reach the bootloader.
Hit OK to reach odin and flash Twrp version 3.2.2.0 hero2lte version.
Using odin 3.13 tick the ap box and flash the twrp recovery version 3.2.2.0 by pressing start.
Reach recovery by force starting power home vol down then immediately holding power home vol up to reach twrp.
even if you can't reach twrp you should be able to flash an official stock android os using the ap box in odin.
If your having bootloops it helps to flash only 1 check box at a time.
In short flash stock firmware then enable the oem unlock in developers options to disable the frp lock.

[ODIN] S10+ will not boot into Recovery Mode

Hi,
This is my first time trying to root an android phone
I'v flashed with Magisk from the github, Used ODIN to do so,
Had OEM unlocked Grey out (already unlocked) in the settings before doing so, and USB debugging etc,
After i successfully flashed with ODIN
I was watching a video and was told to finalise the steps you have to boot into Recovery mode to wipe the phone
Now i followed the button process the person in the video did Vol down + Power to Restart the device from Download Mode
Then Volume up + bixby + power and he said to release the power and bixby after the bootloader warning but i did this and i'v not been able to reach Recovery mode
My samsung is just constantly stuck on the boot Logo after the bootloader warning
but i can restart the phone and reach Download mode again
Would anyone be able to assist thanks
Flash stock firmware.
Also, please keep your issue in your thread. As this is not a patched Odin issue. Thanks
