Please help with my Grand Prime - Galaxy Grand Prime Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime
Model # SM-G530T1 UD
SW : G530T1UVU1AOH9
When I tried to power on my grand prime yesterday the black screen that displays Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime powered by Android came up but it doesn't go any further. Every couple minutes it vibrates and the screen reloads but that's all it keeps doing until either I remove the battery because holding the power button doesn't work or the battery dies. I have tried doing a hard reset on it but it didn't work. I also tried starting it in safe mode but that doesn't work either. I don't know what else to try doing.

What changes you did to your device last time? You may need to reflash the stock firmware using Odin.

I hadn't made any changes to the device. I forgot my screen lock so I did a hard reset on it.

Can you go to download mode. Press power+volume down+home button. See if you can go to download mode.
If you can made it to download mode you have a chance. You have to download your stock firmware from here -
http://updato.com/firmware-archive-select-model?exact=1&q=SM-G530T1
Download it and flash it with Odin. See if Odin recognizes your device.

[Q] Galaxy S4 i9500 stuck on home screen for no reason

Hi guys,
I did a research regarding my problem, found a couple of threads but none of them helped and I noticed my situation is a bit different from most users having this problem.
I live in Brazil, went on a trip to USA for 15 days, kept my SIM card and SD into the phone, just used it to access WiFi, watch videos, make a couple of Viber calls, send messages via WhatsApp, etc. Everything was fine, no problem at all.
Today, when I landed in Brazil, I turned on the phone, entered my pattern and since then my phone just displays that initial screen "Samsung Galaxy S4" and keeps rebooting like crazy. In these last 15 days, I didn't make a single change on the phone. Absolutely nothing. It just decided not to work anymore
My phone is not rooted, runs the latest updates.
I tried initializing in safe mode (power+home+volume up), it shows the android green robot at a glance and then reboots again. I can't even read what is written on the screen, so fast the reboot takes place. I also tried pressing the menu button repeatedly, but no luck as well. Tried removing the battery, turning on without SIM & SD, nothing. When I connect it to a power source, the red led doesn't even light. My computer doesn't recognize it either.
Any suggestions on what to do? Returning it to the shop is not an option as well, cause I bought it out of Brazil...
Thanks a lot, colleagues!

You could try this take the battery out for at least 12 hours , I read somewhere that can work for your kind of problem
I had this with Note 2.
No other option but to factory reset and flash official samsung firmware from sammobile.com
After that we were back to normal. Try that.
sounds not that bad..
try booting on download mode then flash some official firmware from sammobile.com
NOTE: don't flash XXUMH8 or any MH firmware for it contains new bootloaders with the samsung KNOX crap.
I really wish I could solve that without having to install everything again... but anyway
I'm sorry for this newbie question, but how can I flash a new firmware if my computer doesn't recognize my phone?
And what software do I need in order to do that?
Thanks a lot!
Just one more question...
if I really have to install a firmware, isn't it better to flash one from another country?
It seems like Brazil is always one of the latest to get the updates
Which country would you recommend?
Thanks a lot again, colleagues.

I'm totally sure it is genuine.
I mean, I can go to download mode.
When I press power+home+volume down, it works.
But when I click volume up in order to continue to download mode, the phone reboots.
It can't stay stable for more than 3 seconds, let's say.

Ok, but in order to perform a hard reset, I need to press power+home+volume up at the same time, right?
That doesn't work either.
When the small green android robot is shown, the phone immediately reboots. I can't even read if there's something written, so fast it reboots.
Are there any options left or just sending to Samsung?

Ok! Thanks a lot for your help
Try removing your sd card before going to download mode, maybe it's trying to finish a failed update. Try using someone else's empty sd card

Thanks MaryAnna and Obagleyfreer. I've already tried what you just suggested.
No luck
I tried to give it to Samsung, and look what I've got:
They told me to look for support in the country I bought the phone.
This is ridiculous. It's a shame.
That's when I regret changing my iPhone for a Galaxy.

[HELP!] SGY GT-S5360 Fails to start

I'm really sorry if I asked this question again if it may have been asked earlier, but i really need to get answers ASAP because I could not use the internet all of the time.
Days after I rooted my SGY GT-S5360, it would no longer start and it would not charge either(both by charger method and PC method of charging) . I also tried going to Recovery Mode but then again it does not. So I tried charging my battery using a universal charger for a short while. After doing so, I placed again my battery to my device and tried turning it on. It would turn on but only until the "Samsung Galaxy Young GT-S5360" logo and then it would turn off again. I tried taking the battery out and then putting it in again, but the same scenario happens.
I am sure that I am not on a BOOTLOOP issue because it shows no symptoms of it. And I would not want to believe that I am Hard Bricked because my device still boots only until the "Samsung Galaxy Young GT-S5360" logo. PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS PROBLEM
By the way, I have not flashed any ROMs or Tweaks or Updates on my device and I am still on my Stock ROM.]

Just reflash it, and make sure you have the right CWM recovery .6 iirc is the correct one.
Remember the term bricked means basically a paperweight. Won't turn on at all and basically a dud. If your phone turns on then it's not bricked even if it boot loops etc

Another way take out the battery, insert, turn on by direct boot to download mode, use Odin reflash the ROM with tick Phone Bootloader Updates.
Guys whenever I remove battery ,try hard reset or try to enter download mode..it starts in stuck boot screen (won't go any further) showing this...

Take the battery out to power off the device, then put it back in... Hold volume down + Home + Power to get to download mode. You are trying recovery mode which is different.
Seems you were right thx a lot

Galaxy Tab 4 SM-T230NU Nook stuck at intro

I have the Nook version and wanted to remove all Samsung bloat, so I rooted with Odin v3.09 and installed TPWin. Then I flashed it with Everything google ROM with made everything seem slow. So I flashed it with Prism and cannot enter recovery mode at all. It's stuck at the intro Samsung Galaxy Tab SM-T230NU screen. If I hold power, home, vol up together, it just reboots to that same screen everytime. I let the battery drain and retried but same result. Can someone help me get back to stock?

I have the same problem with my sister's note 4 snapdragon... updated to marshmallow and now if you reboot, it goes black screen and does not respond to long pressing power or anything... you have to pull out the batter for a few minutes then restart.
What gives? Did you find a solution?

have you tried wiping your cache?
Press Power, Volume Up and Home simultaneously.
Wait until the phone vibrates and then release Power and Home.
You should now see the recovery screen. ...
Press the Power button to confirm.
Select Reboot System Now and again, hit Power to confirm.
Hi, thanks, but yes, I've done cache and factory resetting several times. I'm trying custom ROMs now...
